“My eight year old is very picky. Very picky. And I want him to understand that Taco Bell is not Mexican food. So we went in hopes he would at least try some real tacos. Well, he did. I don’t know how you did it, El Macho but he polished off a full plate of four carnitas tacos! The waitress was nice enough to just give him meat and added cheese but he devoured them. We will be returning! Five stars!“

“Wow, pleasantly surprised by this place when I walked in. Very lively with loud music and a fun bar area. There is an upstairs also when it is packed. The place of food I ordered was a bang for your buck. Fried sea food, ceviche, and more.The drinks were ok. The bartender was super friendly! “I'm about to eat here for the third time in the last 2 weeks. This place is 5/5, if you want just the burger you spending under $10 that's why I put $1-10, but that burger is so worth it alone. They also have a good lunch special that comes with a bacon cheeseburger and some NICELY seasoned fries for like 12 or 13.“

“I am not a big taco fan but these tacos were sooo good. They put an avocado sauce on top that tastes fantastic. And they are prices are pretty average for most taco spots. I had the quesabirria tacos- delicious!! It’s so great to finally have an authentic and tasty taco spot in Garfield. And the staff was so sweet and friendly. They gave my friend and I rose for Valentine’s Day. I will definitely be back!! 🥰“

“I’ve been coming to this small business for about 3/4 years now and although it’s just a taco truck I know enough that all I have to do is pick up my order and eat it at my house or enjoy it with my partner at the nearby park. I’m not gonna make a review about the “environment” of a taco truck and make them feel obligated to my seating needs for that I’ll just to a RESTAURANT it’s a perfect grab and go. The staff is very friendly and hard working people, for as busy as they get their customer service is consistently great. I want to mention how hard it is to find authentic AL PASTOR TACOS that are supposed to be made like how they make it here. The tortilla is always fresh, the meat is seasoned perfectly and you can tell by the color on the meat and the salsa verde is also perfect if you are into spicy fresh homemade salsa just the right texture not watery like others that I’ve had around the area.“

The guacamole was a bit too salty for our taste, but overall we enjoyed it. For a family of four to eat enough during happy hour, expect to spend around $120, which was the only downside for us. “Very good tacos at a very fair price. These are probably some of the best seafood tacos I’ve ever had, even better than once I’ve had in California or Mexico. The large shrimp with cheese taco is by far my favorite, the ceviche is also good, and the restaurant itself is always packed with a lot of energy. I’ve ate in there in person, I’ve only ever picked up food, which is very efficient with them and fairly quick.“

“I live in the area and love trying out local restaurants, Taquerua La Casita did not disappoint. The atmosphere was great, wel lit and busy. Its a small place, but small places tend to be masters of their craft. I got two orders of tacos, tacos al pastor and tacos de costilla (recommended by the employee working he counter). Both were great, fresh and bold flavors. The pastor came with a slice of pineapple on top which was a nice touch. I really enjoyed the Verde sauce that came with the order. My family usually orders the chicken quesadilla, shrimp or pork burrito, tamales de carnitas just to list a few. This is truly a weekly go to spot for us.“
