“We have been going to Black Eyed Susan's since their prior location across the street when it was BYOB and I can't believe it's actually gotten better in terms of menu and the cocktail menu is amazing too. With the addition of Marigold this summer they've reached the next level. We hope to rent it out next year for a private event. Could not recommend it enough if you're on Long Beach Island (or even if you have to drive the bridge)”

“Super nice employees, out of all the pizza on LBI this takes the cake. This pizza tastes and is on par with NYC styles. I’m from Long Island and honestly just as good! They have Dr Pepper and also tons of nice sauces like Valentina and tajin which are the best toppings for pizza if you love spice like me. Give this man your business, I will be back every time I’m on LBI! Such a great vibe, true beach town feel place without sacrificing quality or being fake. Nice view outside of the restaurant of the bay. Unlike the other pizza places on LBI this place has slices! Every other place gave me a face if I ask if they did buffalo slices! Go check this place out tasty and classic slices!”

“Please run, don't walk to Isola! Long Beach Island is no stranger to great spots for Italian cuisine, but Isola is not your typical Italian fare. A BYOB restaurant, Isola has a menu that easily compliments any wine! Our dinner consisted of a fresh and flavorful grilled octopus appetizer, a Cacio and Pepe even Rome would be proud of, one if the best zpirk chops we've evrry ate plated to perfrction, Hanger steak with a lovely chimichurri and a side of roasted potatoes with parmesan cheese. We ended the meal with Tiramisu to go and it was a perfect way to end the night. All that said, Isola's menu is equal to the amazing quality of service and the experience created by their staff. Every patron was smiling. We had originally ordered the Fiorentine steak and sadly it was not available. Dylan and his team went above and beyond to make sure that our dinner was not only fantastic but that we were so thrilled we quickly booked our next visit. Isola has officially entered my top 5 LBI list! Thank you, Isola for a wonderful date night!”

“I celebrated my birthday with my sisters at The Gables last night. It is clear that this restaurant knows that a dining experience is more than just about the great food. The ambiance and charm of the restaurant with its meticulous attention to detail translates to understated elegance. Their staff—my experience felt like we were the only ones in the restaurant and they had nothing else to do but take care of us! Our server, Cathy, was so warm and unshakable on a rather busy evening. The room managers strolled throughout the room making sure that every person was seen and noticed. It’s the nicest place I’ve ever dined. Thank you for a truly lovely evening!”

“Living with Celiac Disease, Graves' Disease, and post-Lyme has already made my diet extremely restrictive. This year, despite the added challenges, I made the difficult decision to return to vegetarianism - I simply couldn't reconcile the guilt of eating animal proteins while my health demanded an even more limited way of eating. Cooking at home is manageable, but ordering takeout has been tough: truly gluten-free and vegetarian options are rare. That's why I'm so grateful for Living on the Veg. Their food isn't just safe and accommodating - it's genuinely delicious. As someone who leans toward vegan eating and avoids most factory dairy when I can, I especially appreciate their plant-based options. The vegan potato salad is outstanding - you'd never guess it's dairy-free. And the chocolate peanut butter bites? Absolutely addictive. Thank you, Living on the Veg, for making restrictive eating feel like a treat instead of a compromise, on the days I'm too lazy to cook! P.S. My one wish: more gluten-free bread options, especially bagels and different types of sandwich bread beyond the classic white. That would make your amazing sandwiches even more irresistible!”
