“You going to get a consistent meal at the Lantern. I usually will order ahead and pick up through the drive through. Today, we ate in, and can I just say the staff was amazing. Queen DD was so sweet and the gentleman whose name I forgot to ask, but assume is management of some sort, was SO KIND. Absolutely fantastic experience with them today. Thank you so much for your patience and kindness towards us! Yall made my little girl’s day with that itty bitty ice cream cone.“

“I'm impressed! It was easy and pretty quick and the girl running the register was kind and patient and walked us through the menu like a pro. We waited at some of the tables and admired the To-Go lockers that make it really easy to order ahead and pick things up. They have a TV for sports and another TV to show you the upcoming orders. I like that because you know they haven't forgotten about you! They also have a reward program with points and stuff. We brought our wings home and loved them. They pack them in great boxes with air holes and clear tops so you can see what everything is and they gave us plenty of napkins and wipes. The wings travelled very well and were great! The fries weren't the best, but maybe they don't travel as well. We will definitely be back to try some of the other food on the menu too!“

“Forgot how nice of a venue Rails is...it is really beautiful! Came here to celebrate 30+ years married and thoroughly enjoyed ourselves. Had oyster (east and west coast) appetizer and octopus with delicious garbanzo beans in a really tasty sauce!! Then had a NY strip and skirt steak... both cooked perfectly for medium rare. Had a side of creamed spinach which could've been cooked a little more...and very creamy. Next time I think I will get oil and garlic spinach instead..just a preference. Shout out to our waitress, Danielle,...very attentive and gave us a piece of cake on the house to take home and celebrate our anniversary...Also invited us to the speakeasy...but c'mon it's only MONDAY??? Saw.some people enjoying mac and cheese as an appetizer...looked good, but that would have been too much for us!! No starches ordered, but they looked good.“

“I haven’t been to The Barn since my kids were young, but we visited Abma’s farm today for the hayride with my daughter and granddaughter and stopped at The Barn for dinner after. What a delight! The staff were so welcoming and child-friendly. I have never been anywhere as child-friendly in Bergen County. Their outside seating area is perfect for families with young children in tow. “Hidden Gem with Amazing Flavors and Generous Portions

I can’t say enough good things about this place. Though it might be easy to overlook because of the location, it’s absolutely worth finding parking for, even if you’re coming from a bit further away. The portion sizes are huge for the price—this delicious meal was only $15, and the flavor is out of this world. The meat was so tender, it literally fell apart, and every bite just kept getting better. You can taste the love and care in every dish. It’s one of those spots that may not be packed yet, but once people discover it, I’m sure it’ll be the next go-to. Do yourself a favor and check it out!“

“I grew up with The Corral… best fries with cheese and sauce! I moved away and when ever I come back I stop in, breakfast, lunch, or dinner I make sure to stop in for a friendly chat and a delicious meal.
However, I stopped in this weekend and i’m sad to say it was disgusting! What happened? New owner? & a New cook? I don’t know but they wrecked our order cheddar cheese on everything was terrible! Fries with cheese and sauce, with cheddar cheese? Terrible! That cheese stiffed up instantly, the sauce was flavorless.
Really ruined our experience!!! Hope it was a fluke and not a change in recipe!“

The dinner pricepoint is a little high but comparable to similar menu restaurants in NJ. Sun-Thur prix fixe is your best bet but with limited selection. We appreciated the pristine airy ambiance, service and food at an earlier repast event with screens available to show photos and videos of remembrance. They were quite respectful of what was being said and shared and waited patiently to serve at appropriate times.“

I had chicken stuffed with mushrooms and I can honestly say that it was the best chicken I have ever eaten. The portions were plentiful. We had a large selection of desserts to choose from at the end of the meal. I chose one particular dessert but before mine came out, I asked if I could exchange it for one that someone in our party had in front of her. No problem. They accommodated me and it was beyond delicious. Also, the staff was very attentive during our whole meal. They could not have been any better. The only negative was the fact that there was also another birthday celebration going on at the same time and it was so noisy that we couldn’t hear each other talk. “We chose to have a small wedding at Tree Tavern! We planned for months as we loved the set up of the outside. We came and tried food and drinks, and every person we encountered were extremely nice and helpful. They helped us every step of the way. The options we had for the food was amazing. We got to customize it to how we wanted and then pick a very nice drink package. The pricing was outstanding. They helped with the set up and take down of the wedding and honestly helped us with every little detail. We couldn’t have asked for a better wedding day or a better venue for our special day. If we could do it over again we wouldn’t change a thing. Thank you to Mike, the wonderful owner. Joyce who helped us plan everything and Vicky who helped us pick out all our drinks. Tree Tavern is a place we will come to again and again. The atmosphere is beautiful and the people are great. They helped make our wedding day magical.
