“You going to get a consistent meal at the Lantern. I usually will order ahead and pick up through the drive through. Today, we ate in, and can I just say the staff was amazing. Queen DD was so sweet and the gentleman whose name I forgot to ask, but assume is management of some sort, was SO KIND. Absolutely fantastic experience with them today. Thank you so much for your patience and kindness towards us! Yall made my little girl’s day with that itty bitty ice cream cone.“

“I'm impressed! It was easy and pretty quick and the girl running the register was kind and patient and walked us through the menu like a pro. We waited at some of the tables and admired the To-Go lockers that make it really easy to order ahead and pick things up. They have a TV for sports and another TV to show you the upcoming orders. I like that because you know they haven't forgotten about you! They also have a reward program with points and stuff. We brought our wings home and loved them. They pack them in great boxes with air holes and clear tops so you can see what everything is and they gave us plenty of napkins and wipes. The wings travelled very well and were great! The fries weren't the best, but maybe they don't travel as well. We will definitely be back to try some of the other food on the menu too!“

“Overall a good vibe and the food was very good. Everything was cooked perfectly from steaks to sides. I understand a steakhouse like this banks on making money off alcoholic beverages but not everyone drinks alcohol. I specifically asked the server if they carry Coca-Cola products and she said yes. Then she brought me some garbage RC Cola that was absolutely disgusting and gave me an immediate headache. When I questioned if it was actual Coca-cola she then sort of giggled and said oh no it's another brand. Why would a nice steakhouse like this not offer actual on brand products? Wolfgangs brings you your own little bottle of Coca-Cola. Better yet, why would the server not be truthful the first time and if she didn't know she could have said she would check. Unfortunately it just put a smudge on the night and we drove an hour each way to try Rails as it had been highly recommended to us. Again, the food was very good, the service otherwise was good, complimentary valet is always a treat, desserts were decadent and ambience is nice. Hopefully they revisit providing brand name non-alcoholic beverages in the future.“

“This is the second time we’ve had Samar as our server, and he’s just wonderful! He’s so attentive, friendly, and always has a big smile on his face. We came in for the Triple Chocolate Meltdown (which is always a favorite!), but having Samar take care of us made it even better. The service here is always great. Our food comes out quickly, our orders are always right, and even the manager stopped by to check on us. This place really has that cozy, hometown restaurant vibe that makes you want to come back again and again!“

“I haven’t been to The Barn since my kids were young, but we visited Abma’s farm today for the hayride with my daughter and granddaughter and stopped at The Barn for dinner after. What a delight! The staff were so welcoming and child-friendly. I have never been anywhere as child-friendly in Bergen County. Their outside seating area is perfect for families with young children in tow. Thank you for a wonderful dining experience.“

I can’t say enough good things about this place. Though it might be easy to overlook because of the location, it’s absolutely worth finding parking for, even if you’re coming from a bit further away. The portion sizes are huge for the price—this delicious meal was only $15, and the flavor is out of this world. The meat was so tender, it literally fell apart, and every bite just kept getting better. You can taste the love and care in every dish. It’s one of those spots that may not be packed yet, but once people discover it, I’m sure it’ll be the next go-to. Do yourself a favor and check it out!“

“I love The New Corral. I've been going there since 2015. I finally took my dad there n he loves it as well. The waitresses are the best. No attitudes. They speak English, Spanish n I believe Turkish. It's a very comfortable place to go with family.“

“We dined at Robert’s for the first time. We were celebrating a relative’s birthday. The food was outrageous! The appetizers were amazing as were all of the entrees. I had chicken stuffed with mushrooms and I can honestly say that it was the best chicken I have ever eaten. The portions were plentiful. We had a large selection of desserts to choose from at the end of the meal. I chose one particular dessert but before mine came out, I asked if I could exchange it for one that someone in our party had in front of her. No problem. They accommodated me and it was beyond delicious. Also, the staff was very attentive during our whole meal. They could not have been any better. The only negative was the fact that there was also another birthday celebration going on at the same time and it was so noisy that we couldn’t hear each other talk. Despite that, I wouldn’t hesitate to return to this fabulous restaurant.“

“We've eaten there many times. The food is good with large portions and at very reasonable prices. Mohammad the waiter, aka Mo, is exceptionally friendly, attentive, professional and accommodating. His service is fantastic and always with a smile. We've had other waitresses serve us that were not so friendly and their service was very disappointing so we try to go when we know Mo is working. I highly recommend eating there and hopefully you'll get Mo to serve you. It just makes your meal more enjoyable.“

Boom our heads exploded with the great smoky flavors flowing out from the kitchen. We were seated by a lovely lady who was very attentive and exited that we came in. The waitress was also great and was vey excited to tell us what her absolute favorites were so we jumped at the items she talked about. I got the burnt pork butt and brisket ends with Mack and cheese and coleslaw, my wife got a great chicken dinner. Along with a few beer options. Delicious just doesn’t cover how good the meal was!! My husband and I stumbled across this small grill diner hidden in the cut — and what a find! We stopped in for brunch and everything was spot on. He had the shrimp and grits, and I went with the meat lovers with egg whites. Both dishes were so good — seasoned just right and cooked perfectly. The food was delicious and the service was just as excellent. We’ll definitely be back. Highly recommend if you’re looking for a cozy spot with quality food. 👌🏼“
