The place itself is so cozy and peaceful. I could have spent hours learning about the Vreeland's whose artifacts and photographs were displayed all throughout. Beautifully decorated with lovely antique furniture and everything carefully thought of to keep us comfortable. The music festival was awesome! One great band after another as we enjoyed delicious food and cocktails. Try their scrumptious Bennie for breakfast! It was hard to leave. Great vibes all weekend. The menu rivals any diner’s with the amount of choices, but contains even more variety. I had such a hard time choosing, as did my husband. Our portions were generous, the food was flavorful and prompt, the bloody mary’s were top notch, and the service was attentive and very polite. Prices were so incredibly reasonable too. We’re so happy to have this place in town!!“

“This is the best food in Vernon served by the friendliest stuff at the best prices , t The Place is Amazing ,if you are new in the area or just visiting Vernon just stop by because there is no better place for breakfast lunch and dinner at the writing of this post. You don't have to trust me ( I traveled all in jersey and upstate NY for the last 6 years In a way I know as traveler and restaurant visitor) but don't take my word . Vegetarian options: Vegiterian?! Lol...It's an Irish Pub.

Parking: You cannot see the pub from the street. You can miss the entrance to the driveway if you have a problem with paying attention.

“Taco Tuesday is real real tasty , I love the pork and the shrimp tacos. the burgers are delicious , they cook them just the way you like them , onion rings yum yum , Thursdays is prime rib night … cooked to perfection, different sides to choose from , I always get the baked potatoe and the salad it comes with … is real good also , ya gotta try it. Oh I forgot Greg is a great bartender.“

“Foods great but be ready to be charged $4 for a club soda ??? definitely the most expensive dive bar you’ll walk into. Also be ready to wait 30-45 minutes for a pizza. They have live music tho. $14 for a jerk chicken pizza and 30 min to get it.“

“A Great night at the Cove Castle last night. My girlfriend and I attended the History of Greenwood Lake event at the Cove and it was very enjoyable. Bob, Andrea, Chuck and the entire crew made the experience exceptional. The setting and view of the lake from the second floor dinning room was beautiful. The food was delicious and the presentation was excellent. Drinks were large and reasonably priced. In Bob's 5 years at the Cove Castle he has transformed the place into a fine place to dine, drink and enjoy top notch entertainment. Can't wait to return to "The place to go" on Greenwood Lake.“

“I'm impressed! It was easy and pretty quick and the girl running the register was kind and patient and walked us through the menu like a pro. We waited at some of the tables and admired the To-Go lockers that make it really easy to order ahead and pick things up. They have a TV for sports and another TV to show you the upcoming orders. I like that because you know they haven't forgotten about you! They also have a reward program with points and stuff. We brought our wings home and loved them. They pack them in great boxes with air holes and clear tops so you can see what everything is and they gave us plenty of napkins and wipes. The wings travelled very well and were great! The fries weren't the best, but maybe they don't travel as well. We will definitely be back to try some of the other food on the menu too!“
