“We threw a drop-in Buffet dinner for family and friends at Houlihans for 30 to 35 people. The room is spacious and accommodated everyone comfortably. Our server Eileen was excellent and the food was delicious. Michelle who assisted with the catering was very detail oriented and help me plan a great event. “Just had brunch at White Maple Cafe. This place has such a beautiful, cozy atmosphere, in the middle of the lovely town of Ridgewood. We had the chicken wings, short rib benedict, and sandwiches. All the food is extremely high quality, delicious, and tastes like it was made with love! The owner Maryam is the most kind, welcoming, and caring host, as well as a great barista! I highly recommend this place for any occasion. Support this business - they deserve all the love!“

“This place was fantastic! My husband and I went there on a whim. And we are so glad that we did. We love the ambience, it looks like a country cottage. And the service was awesome. She was there to make us comfortable and happy.....which she did. And the food was the piece de resistance . We had stuffed zucchini blossoms for our appetizer and they were perfect. Then we got a salad, of which the house dressing is the way to go. And then we had an order of snow crab legs that were PHENOMENOL! And we also ordered the Pasta dish which had deep sea scallops and shrimp with a vodka sauce over angel hair pasta. Which was also incredibly good. We left there feeling very happy and satisfied! Thanks Country Cottage! We DEFINETLY will be back. =)“

“I had two hotdogs, one with chili cheese and the other with basic relish ketchup mustard. Both were excellent, if a little zealous on the relish. The mustard was brown mustard which is ALWAYS a welcome surprise. I truly love hotdogs and these met my expectations. My brother had the lentil soup which was absolutely amazing, and that is what I would order next time I am here. My other brother had the French toast, which he enjoyed. The service is very friendly and welcoming, the kind of place where you feel like a regular your first time in. Total was $37 for enough lunch for 3 people in their 20s plus drinks.“

I definitely could of had that as my meal it was so good! I've had moussaka in Greece and I have had a hard time finding anything that comes close but this was just as delicious in its own way! And the Saganaki appetizer was also so so good! For entree had halibut souvlaki and chicken souvlaki, the halibut souvlaki was like nothing I've had before was delicious but very messy to eat with these plates. The fries were delicious and come with different toppings you can choose from I got plan my bf got Cajun? I believe and it was spicy! I'm glad I stuck with plan fries. For dessert got bread pudding which was alright. The drinks were delicious and very pretty! On the expensive side to eat here but very fancy looking place. Overall I would definitely go back and try more dishes! Pleasantly surprised with this place :)“

The restaurant was busy with a party outside, but they attended to us in a super way. The food was excellent and the atmosphere was great. The staff were so welcoming and child-friendly. I have never been anywhere as child-friendly in Bergen County. Their outside seating area is perfect for families with young children in tow. “We have been shopping here as our main grocery store pretty much since it opened. While it is a smaller Whole Foods, it tends to have a good stock of a good variety of items, both fresh and packaged. It is generally clean (with one exception, see below) and most of the staff are very friendly and helpful. There is an Amazon Locker here, so you can get your Amazon packages delivered to this locker, do your shopping, and then pick up your package all in one trip. There are a two issues I very much wish they would fix. For one thing, the restrooms are consistently not clean. This is a suburban store and doesn't get the volume of customers that an NYC store gets, but they don't seem to be able to keep the restrooms in good order. My other issue has to do with what they choose to stock in a couple of categories. The first is orange juice. I always look for organic orange juice not in a clear container (so as not to compromise Vitamin C). I just want organic orange juice in an opaque container the way it comes -- not pulp-free, not extra-pulp, not with Vitamin D added, etc. They never stock this. My other stocking issue has to do with ice cream. They have all kinds of interesting flavors, several kinds of dairy-free options, etc. but I just want a pint of premium, organic vanilla ice cream, straight up. This can sometimes be found but often they don't have it on the shelf even though they carry all kinds of great brands that would offer it. If only this store remedied these two issues, they'd be five stars for sure!“

“This has to be one of the Best bagel stores in NJ. Eric and Christie are amazing owners and everything is made fresh, including the variety of Cream cheeses they offer. Have to try the sundried tomato cream cheese, it is a favorite. The staff are friendly and pleasant and very efficient in what they do. I call ahead my order being they are always busy. Don't be surprised if when you arrive there is a line out the door, they are that good. 👍“
