“We went over for the superbowl because some of the other restaurants in town were closed and we were very pleasantly surprised. I don't know why it wasn't on our radar sooner. We got a bunch of appetizers and they were all really good. The wings were stand-out. I will say that the portions were a little bit smaller than I was hoping, but at least everything tasted good. The drinks were reasonably priced and they made my wife a very respectable espresso martini with actual coffee in it. The owner came up to our table to check in on us and the host was very sweet and kind as well. They have large rooms that you can rent out for events which is pretty cool too and they have a bunch of TVs around for games and such. Its like a sports bar in some ways, but it feels like a more elevated experience than your average sports bar or pub. We will definitely be going back!Parking: Plenty of spots in the front of the building, the side, and the back. The handicap spots are to the right when you pull in so they are directly in front and the rest of the parking is to the left and then clockwise around the building.“

“We only discovered St. Eves a couple weeks ago - great neighborhood spot! Food was very good, service on point, nice atmosphere. Seating a little tight though. Big plus for us - byob! On the pricier side but well worth it. Will definitely included St. Eves in our regular restaurant rotation.“

“Great food, great service, really nice atmosphere. We met dear friends for dinner and had an awesome evening! Every course was excellent, Stephanie our server was terrific, and as we waited for our ride home, Salih said I am going through Ridgewood I will give you a ride. Wow! Talk about full service.“

“Had a great evening at the Shannon Rose. Their monthlong celebration of St Patrick’s day and the Irish cuisine were just what we needed on a cold, rainy day. And our server Misty was a genuine pleasure to deal with. Excellent recommendations on both food and drinks.“

“I was in the area for a doctor's appointment and wanted to pick up some brekkie. I found Bagel Nosh close by. It was a Tuesday at around 9 am. I called ahead for pick up and my order was ready in less than 10 minutes, and piping hot. I ordered a sausage and cheese on a toasted everything wheat bagel, which hit the spot.l. Some places will only give you one sausage patty even when you don't order it with egg but this one came with two. The bagel itself was pretty good and they have more options than most places. It's a pretty heavy/greasy brekkie but you get a bang for your buck here, and it's nice for a once in a while treat.“

“Our absolute favorite, go-to restaurant. The service is great - the owner is welcoming (even once escorted our toddler to the c-store next door to buy some candy) and all the wait staff is great, especially Jason who is incredibly kind. Food is excellent quality and fairly priced for how good it is. Pastas are cooked perfect al dente. Great meat dishes especially the pork chop french cut. The desserts are quite good as well - love the coconut cake. Because it's not huge it isn't quiet but we've never found it to be uncomfortably loud and it has a great ambience.“

“We got takeout tonight and everything was so good! Lobster egg roll appetizer, Grandma's stuffed pepper with angel hair pasta, burger of the day (Big Apple) and short ribs with side of potato gnocchi (instead of fries). Satisfying and plain old delish. Placed order over phone since some dietary issues and hostess was so polite and nice to deal with!“

“Went for dinner last night. It was very nice. For an app we had the e erything pretzel. Very unique and good. It had Italian salami, pieces of provolone, stuffed cherry pepper w a big Bavarian Pretzel w a fancy mustard and another dipping sauce on the side. The short rib was very good too. The portion could have been a little bigger though UT it was good.“

“Murphys has always been a reliable good place to eat and grab drinks, but recently, they updated their menu, and so far, everything I've tried has been really good to great! The Italian Wedding Soup was really great, and mozzarella sticks were light and crispy.I tried 3 kinds of tacos (steak, beef, pulled pork)- all very good, even held up for take out/eating at home.Personal pizza thin crust, always very good. Appetizer sampler was a great way to try a few things at once!I'm both happy and upset that they have several new desserts, too! I wish they had a sampler for that (!) Better for me, they don't!I got the peanut butter chocolate torte(?) And it was light enough to finish! Uh oh!!! Hahaha! The servers I had were very friendly and accommodating. They feel 'happy to be there', which, as a former hospitality professional, I appreciate seeing, and as a Medium, I appreciate feeling! They make you comfortable and offer great suggestions. (And they didn't know I'm a Google Local Guide either!)The owner is always friendly and hands-on as well too.I am very glad for their beautiful renovations and extension, to be able to sit outside in nice weather, easy parking, and fair prices. This restaurant/bar is definitely an asset to our community. And with the new menu, I'll definitely be going more and bringing more friends!Peace, abundance, and continued success for 2024, and always!“

“Drinks are excellent, bartenders are usually great also—really talented at making cocktails. Good local beer choices. As a vegetarian I can’t speak to much of the food—fries are great, but the veg burger is very dense and not my favorite. I love coming here for a few drinks and apps. Dog friendly too!“

“One the best if not the best restaurant in Bergen County. The cauliflower appetizer is outstanding. I had the sole veronique. Perfectly cooked and incredible. My wife had the chicken Milanese and the chicken moist, not greasy in the least . Definitely recommend it.“

“Great hot dogs, fresh buns and a good selection of soft drinks. It's only counter service and take out, but the folks that work there are first class. “Quaint little place off the Main Street in downtown Warwick. Highly recommend making reservations because it is a small space with not that many tables. Everything is homemade, so it takes a little longer to get your order, but is well worth the wait. Coffee was amazing! I got Fannie’s signature latte which was full of interesting flavors. Went there for breakfast and everything tasted great. The one thing I will tell you is to ask for the price of the specials before you order. I ordered a special that included pork loin (which was the previous night’s dinner special) eggs, hash browns and an apple salad and it was $33. It was good, but not $33 good. My fault for not checking the price, but I never imagined a breakfast dish costing that much. I will still go back next time I’m in Warwick, but I’ll be sure to ask for the prices before I order a special again.“

“An awesome super friendly place to come. Welcomes everyone. Very unique place. The grill has a Caribbean flare, with curried onion burgers and stewed chicken. They make their rum punches on site and they're refreshing and taste authentic. They have many events and lots of live music. The bar is ridiculously clean. Can't really go wrong here, whether you're flying solo or running with friends. Can even bring kids earlier in the night. If you like cheese steak get the J*** cheese steak! Crazy good comfort food that one.And the service is super friendly!“

“I work locally and order from here at least 2 times per week. Everything I have ordered is ALWAYS fantastic. The gyro sauce "white dill dauce", do not call it tzatziki ( I was gently corrected several times) is phenomenal! so much so that I would dunk the Pastrami Reuben into it. The gyro, to quote Andrew Zimmern, sloopy, ooey gooey deliciousness! The star of the show has to be the cheesesteak eggroll, holy #$%^!!!! I called today to order and when I was told it was sold out...yeah, that's right, a non-Chinese eatery being sold out of egg rolls! I replaced with the cheesesteak empanada....BAM just as good! I am skeptical about ordering anything different because on the SLIM chance what I ordered does not hit the Empire State Building bar that has been set.....I feel like I would have just wasted my lunch. Not gonna happen... EAT HERE! That is all.“

“Had a great time here with friends. Good food, fantastic service, and a nice table to chat away the night. Didn't get to take any pictures, but it's basically a pub style with plenty of tables right on the main street in Pompton Lakes. We hadn't been in this area for a LONG time. We went around the corner and there was St Mary's church where we got married 41 years ago last week!!!“

“Update: After a huge investment in renovation, they are re-open! Check out the HUGE new bar, outside deck, and 2nd parking lot behind the restaurant. Same amazing food, same suppliers, same recopies, same friendly staff.Feels like a traditional British pub in West Milford. Great diversity of food/amazing specials - and a great "core" menu. The quality of their meats is amazing, and they have the tenderest steak sandwich I have ever had! Worth the trip, just for their Seafood Bisque. If they have it as a special, I'M THERE!“

“A group of us from Long Island visited Warwick & had lunch at Yesterdays this week. We loved the atmosphere of the new space, and enjoyed looking at all of the fun retro decor. Very clever use of beer kegs inside and outside the new building. “We absolutely love this place, from the food, to the cozy atmosphere, to the friendly staff and excellent service. It's perfect whether you're here on a date, or for a meal with family or friends. If you don't want a full sit-down meal, you can always find a convivial gathering around the happenin' bar. The menu consists of popular Italian and American favorites like chicken, veal, pastas, salads, steak, seafood, burgers/sandwiches, and a well-rounded selection of appetizers. Nothing trendy but all extremely solid options and consummately prepared. You're greeted with a plate of warm bread and black olives when you sit down. The house wines are quite good and a gracious pour. (A wine shop attached to the restaurant is run by the same people.) The steak is perfection - flawlessly seared to my requested medium rare, and seasoned just right. I've also really enjoyed the fish and chicken dishes here. The tilapia is so tender. Even the sides are outstanding - I couldn't believe how good the sauteed spinach in the chicken saltimbocca was! And the fries are amazing - piping hot and crispy, and perfectly seasoned as well. We've also had the seafood paella which is full of seafood but more of a cioppino with its tomato-based broth than a true paella which has a dry texture, but is tasty nonetheless. We'll be back often to eat our way through the rest of the menu, I'm sure. A happy hour menu is offered from 4-6p on Tue/Wed/Thu. As mentioned, they have a great bar, and the changing seasonal cocktail offerings are delightful. The staff are warm and wonderful, and we were made to feel welcomed each time. Mike the owner came up to introduce himself the very first time we came here. You can tell they take care to know their customers, and seem to have a loyal local clientele (one of whom recommended the Tavern to us). Our meal was perfectly coursed - never rushed nor too slow. I noticed our server discreetly checking on us several times to make sure we were done with our appetizers before the entrees were brought out in impeccable timing. A small table lamp illuminates the menu without harshing the romantic mellow. The unobtrusive noise level means you can actually have a conversation without shouting across the table. These are details, but the sum of these parts differentiates a good restaurant experience from a great one.“

“Dietary restrictions: I still like the beef but it was actually bison meat. I am on the whole 30 diet. It’s very strict and only allows quality meats, veggies and fruit and that’s it. I was reluctant to get any sort of “fast food”. But I did not find fast food at Bareburger. It’s obviously the highest quality meats and ingredients. I had a double bison burger filled with caramelized onions and avocado and wrapped in collard green wrap. The food was of very high-quality and it was delicious. The bison was lean but not dried out like a hockey puck it was moist and tasty. Overall it was a great choice than a great experience. Even though it was a pick up both the server and bartender that helped me were very helpful and pleasant. As my massage therapist is in town I will be back!“

“Great local vibes here with a solid food and drink menu. Great service as well. Outdoor seating in the warmer months. My only knock is the noise. They have brick walls in the inside which don't absorb sound. It gets loud when crowded, which makes conversation a challenge. Something to consider if that's important you. Also, live music can be very loud. I wish they'd dial the volume down a tad on their speakers.“

“The Philly Cheesesteak is the best! Good price for the amount of food you get!Breakfast is ok typical diner type food. I'm not a fan of eggs so the options are more limited for me to pancakes, waffles, etc. so we usually do lunch instead. They are open for dinner now during the week but post the specials on Instagram. “In these times of economic vigilance, a visit to Galloway Grill in Warwick, NY, is akin to a well-considered market strategy. As a Wall Street banker, keenly aware of the volatile economic landscape, every dining choice is a reflection of careful fiscal planning.Galloway Grill is conveniently located and offers a bustling yet welcoming environment. The crowd is a mix of older patrons and families, reflecting a diverse demographic. However, a word of caution for fellow diners: be mindful of the speed traps in the village. The local law enforcement is vigilant, and going over 30 mph could lead to an unwanted financial setback – a scenario all too familiar in my line of work.Service at Galloway Grill is efficient and no-nonsense, much like a well-oiled financial machine. However, there's a slight hiccup when it comes to the children's harmless fascination with jelly packets. In an era where every small expense is scrutinized, this seems a trifle, yet it's emblematic of the broader economic prudence we must all exercise. The menu offerings, like stable financial instruments, are reliable and satisfying. The pancakes, French toast, and particularly the omelets, provide a comforting return on investment, both in terms of taste and fulfillment. The price point, around $70-80 for a family of four, is a significant consideration in these times of economic uncertainty. While the quality is undeniable, the cost is a reminder of the current need for careful budgeting and financial foresight.Galloway Grill occupies a unique position, slightly more upscale than a diner but not quite a high-end restaurant. Its place in the culinary market is somewhat analogous to a mid-cap stock – not without its risks, but offering a potentially rewarding experience. In conclusion, while I recommend Galloway Grill for its quality, do so with an eye on both your wallet and the speedometer. The current economic climate, much like the vigilant speed enforcement in the area, requires constant awareness and prudent decision-making. It's a solid 4-star experience, with the potential for 5, should the economic and local traffic conditions become more favorable.“
“The salads are always fresh and delicious. It is 10:30 a.m. and the website says they are open. I am outside the door and they are not open. “The food was good, I ordered just a waffle and bacon recently, but unfortunately, the TV was tuned to Newsmax and I was told "it couldn't be changed". Now that I know the extreme political views of those in charge, I won't be spending any more of my money there. Nor will I recommend the Lakeside Diner any more. Too bad, it used to be such a nice place.“
