“Edit: Raising this from 1 to 4 star after speaking with the owner. It seems this was an outlier situation and they were very kind and receptive.

We came in at 8:20 PM (place closes at 9). The woman behind the counter seemed very detached and exhausted so I tried to be sympathetic. My burrito was a magnificent slop, not rolled properly at all. The soda fountain was out of CO2, so all the soda was flat - I made a comment but the employee didn't care even though she had charged me for the drink. The food wasn't bad but nothing remarkable or exciting.“

“This is authentic Mexican food, very similar to the style in Mexico City, Mexico. I have really enjoyed all the foods I have ordered from here such as their soups, nachos, guacamole, tacos, quesadillas, burritos and signature kitchen dishes. They also offer a green and a red sauce that is spicy, but only elevates the flavor. I also appreciate the fresh limes, cilantro and onions they offer as well. I do like the langua burrito, which is served with rice and beans. Their tripa quesadillas and tacos are also delicious. “horrible experience & poor food quality. we ordered $90 of food tonight. first when trying to order i asked about the birria tacos in their Facebook post. the woman who answered told me that they dont call them birria tacos, they are called barbacoa. they required us to order from uber eats even though they advertise in town delivery. so we did. the tortillas with green sauce is rico's version of a chalupa. it was inedible. we ordered a steak chimichanga - it was very fatty. the quesadilla was delivered in the form of a taco. somehow an order for nachos we put in uber eats, was deleted. when we called to let them know somethings were not correct in the order and we were really dissapointed we were told this is not taco bell. at the end of the unhelpful conversation about their poor service and food quality, the final response was, "You got everything you deserved." very unprofessional. all around a bad experience. the food was not good. we love to support local businesses but will not be back to Rico Taco Mex 2.“

“My sister told me about her local go-to for tacos. I tried the 3 tacos de birria. It was absolutely delicious. Sizeable portion (I was full with 2) and it came with a consome that you could dip the tacos.

Also, the owner is so kind. She wrote a get well note for my mom on her order. I had mentioned that had been sick.

Before leaving the area, I am heading back for another order. Definitely recommend.“

“I was greeted by Tyleek as soon as I walked in the door, my order was a little annoying but he smiled made my meals exactly how I asked and also chatted with me while making the food. Nedene was at the register to ring me up and she was just as nice as Tyleek. The two of them are awesome and I hope they are working the next time I go back.“

“Outstanding food !!! My wife and I just visited and were very impressed . We started off with tostadas tingas which was really good. The chicken was well seasoned and topped with fresh guacamole, lettuce queso fresco and beans , all of which were full of flavor and excellent. For our tacos we had the carne asada tacos and the Baja fish tacos , I usually dont go for fried fish but I tried theirs and they were excellent so much so my wife who isn't really a big seafood eater swapped with me , the fish tacos were not greasy at all which was great and the batter was fluffy and the freshly made corn tortillas made both tacos perfection , the carne asada tacos were also amazing the steak was cooked perfectly and again a lot of great flavor . We originally weren't going to have dessert but we could not pass up flan and tiramasu tres leche , the flan im sure you've guessed by now was amazing perfectly creamy with a great syrup on top and the tres leches tiramasu was top notch . Since coming back from Texas I didn't think I'd find a place that can make great tacos but this place definitely does . Looking forward to my next visit . If you love tacos and Mexican food in general do give them a try , excellent staff , service and food!!!“

“Good place, variety in Mexican food, they deliver, located right on the main road, the rib tacos are excellent, the menu is very varied and the prices are totally affordable, there is no parking but you can leave your vehicle in front of this store. The attention of the staff is acceptable.“

“My only issue was the ordering. First, when I sign into the app it keeps on sending me a link to click to get back into the app, which is annoying. Second, I clicked through online based on a coupon and started ordering, but when I signed in the promo disappeared and I had to keep logging out and in to get it. The app needs to be improved.“

“One of my favorites ever since I was a kid. The chimis are just unbeatable. Chips and salsa (free!) are fresh and out of this world. Prices seem high, but not compared to anything else in red bank and probably because I remember when you could get the same thing for $12 20 years ago. Highly recommend. “Me and family got lost trying to find a restroom and found this hidden gem. The fresh smell of their food hits you in the face when you walk in. I just ordered some steak tacos omg.. it was sooo good. Coming from Wash DC going to New York. I would definitely make my way back to this spot.“
