“We’ve become “regulars” at this wonderful restaurant, soon after they became kosher. We visit regularly, and get takeout pretty often. The food is great! It’s consistent and just SO tasty. And the staff… Absolutely terrific!!!“

While the portions may be a bit smaller than expected, the flavors are complex and satisfying. A bit more noodles would add some welcome heft to the dish. “Was impressed with the decor, service and food. The BBQ burger was cooked perfectly! Made with fresh meat (not frozen formed patty) - not sure whst the English would be but I know it in Yiddish as “hockfleish.” The BBQ sauce added to the taste of the meat without being overpowering and the onion, pickle, lettuce and the challah bun were all extremely fresh. Looking forward to coming back snd trying the other choices!“

“We have Used Mordys To cater our son’s bar mitzvah, and the food was fresh and delicious.
The bagels were one of the best ones we’ve ever had. The platters looked beautiful. The ordering process and the help with figuring out quantities was pleasant and helpful.

“We had lunch at the new restaurant in Highland Park. We had the falafel plate which had great flavor and was very filling. My sister had a slice of pizza which she said was really good. The new place is a vast improvement over the old store in East Brunswick.“

“DELICIOUS! This restaurant is a hidden gem in the Hillel building at Rutgers. I ordered kosher brown sugar boba tea which was perfectly sweet, a greek salad that was fresh and flavorful with the perfect ratio of lettuce to toppings, squash soup that came with croutons, and a chocolate chip cookie that was crunchy and fresh out of the oven with chocolate that melted in my mouth. Service is excellent- my food was served in less than 10 minutes. The staff was very friendly and it was a very relaxed and calming atmosphere- great for studying or eating with friends. Pretty affordable for a college student too! It's right by the Yard, and very accessible so I highly recommend you check it out!“
