“Barside service is great, dining room decent. Food is sometimes amazing, sometimes mediocre. Fried chicken tends to be on the dry side. The atmosphere is average, nothing crazy but nothing horrible either. All in all great place that could use a bit of fine tuning. “When I tell you that this is some of the best soft serve ice cream that I've ever tasted.. I'm just really glad that this place is about 35 mins from me, so that I'm not pressed to visit a couple of times a week. LOL. Came here after a day at the beautiful Seven Presidents Beach.. and it was the perfect way to cool off before ending our day. Very friendly and accommodating service. They were generous and understanding with our very indecisive girls who needed refills of sprinkles lol. Very clean areas to sit down and eat your delicious treats. I ordered the pistachio Italian ice which was very interesting.. non dairy but was tasty. But, it was the sample of the vanilla soft serve that took me over the top... but, I'd already placed my order and didn't want to be a greedy buzzard. Believe me, when I'm back at the shore.. I will beeline to get a full serving of it.“
“how great is it they the original owners of the Diet Gourmet have reopen in the same location in Elberon NJ. The menu is even better than before. They have all their old favorites and a whole bunch of new ones( pizza, flat breads, fish and chip, baked Eggplant) just to name a few.Also they redecorated the whole whole place from and new size to new floors, tables, bathroom repainted in light colors, rebuilt the whole kitchen with new equipment. And the original owner chef is back in the kitchen doing her thing. Healthy food at it's best, kosher dairy at it's best. GO Tomorrow.“
