“We ate at Franny’s yesterday after attending a scouting merit badge class nearby. Everything was amazing. We communicated ahead of time to ensure they could accommodate our party of 16 and were able to place our order ahead of time too. Everything was seamless as we walked in with a table ready and the pizza immediately arrived fresh from the oven. The pizza was a perfect crispy thin crust and thoroughly enjoyed by everyone. The staff was friendly and attentive. I highly recommend this restaurant.“

“The Proving Ground is a solid choice for eating on the coast of the Jersey shore. The back patio is nice, the seafood fresh and the service was on point. The food, while being ok, just didn't wow me and we ordered lobster rolls, French burger, a shrimp wrap and crab cake sandwich. All ok and edible, just the side of fries were basic and no substitutions were allowed. We skipped alcohol drinks and dessert, but the calamari and the mussels apps were tender and again, super fresh and tasty (albeit a bit tiny compared to other places I've been to). Overall, a nice experience and I'd love to go back for some bar food and a drink on a great day or even try their brunch, but maybe another time.“

“We were looking for a vegan restaurant to stop at about halfway through a drive from Bergen County to a shore point and found this place on Happy Cow. It did not disappoint! Food was delicious. Service was friendly and attentive, and the portions were large. We ordered the mac & cheese with coconut bacon and the Reuben sandwich. Although we were full we ordered two desserts to go because they looked so delicious . We ate them later on at home and they were delicious as well! We got the slutty brownie and the chocolate chip cookie. We will definitely visit again when we are in the area.“

“Me and my family love this place. I get that fatboy excitement when I see a Nicholas Creamery text come in, telling about what new flavor is in. Italian rainbow cookie, cannoli, and pineapple cake being my favorites in that order. However, as of late my pints have been light. Last time it was my cannoli pint, nowhere near full. Ok, 1 time no big deal. Their scoops are almost always healthy. Then today again. My favorite, Italian rainbow cookie is back. So, I got 2 pints. They got them from the back. I didnt check just rushed home so it wouldn't melt and so me and my family could enjoy. Again, nowhere near full. 😑 I feel cheated. Check the pics. That said, I'll still be back“

“We’ve been going to Illiano’s nearly 36 years. It’s been great since day 1. We usually do takeout and find the pizza, subs and garlic knots to be the best in Monmouth County. When we moved out of town about 3 years ago we tried to find something that was comparable and closer, but that didn’t work out so make the trip back just about every Friday night. “I visited The Herd Juicery and was totally impressed. They have refreshing fruit bowls and juices, and they serve hot meals that are gluten-free and plant-based. For anyone who has celiac disease or gluten sensitivity, it's nice not having to worry about gluten cross contamination. The food was fresh and absolutely delicious. Even my husband loved his bowl and felt full afterwards without needing to take a nap. The smoothie bowls were a perfect guilt free desert!“
