The food was delicious, and Yasmin was so kind and took the time to take my order, addressing any questions or concerns I had. They even delivered my catering order all the way to my home and took great care with it. This is why I came back to order for Christmas because I knew we weren't going to be disappointed! The food is made with natural ingredients, and I can really tell the difference... it tasted so good. I loved all the food I ordered from Simply Sofrito; my favorites were the guineo escabeche, potato capers pasteles, empanadas, and the coconut flan. If you don't eat meat, she does have vegetarian and vegan options. I definitely recommend Simply Sofrito if you crave Puerto Rican dishes. I would love to eat at the restaurant sometime too!“

“The best place around! A real shining light in the heckscape. So much great food between the staggering amount of sandwich and crunchwrap options (I recommend getting a side of the kale slaw too!) and all the baked goods (I recommend the donuts!). The place itself rules with VHS tapes running all day and more art on the walls than a museum (my favorite is the duck in the top corner near the bathroom door!). Everyone who works there is a true gem of a person. A place that is actually doing right in a world of wrongs. Also it's only a short easy drive from the beach and Asbury.

I’m totally a fan of their main marinara sauce. Sometimes I’ve asked for it on the side. My wife and I have liked the seafood pasta panadora. I tend to order a lot of salads and I’ve tried most of them. My favorite is their chopped salad ($18). Sometimes I get it with the chicken option. I really like their own salad dressing. It’s a little different. The Greek salad is really good too. The braised slow cook short ribs are very popular; a long time specialty item. Their lunch menu is very reasonable. Surprisingly good burgers and sandwiches. I’m particularly a fan of their tuna sandwich, with several variations. I have found the service to always be excellent. I noticed their bread has been outstanding. Owner said they invested in a new ovens from Italy✅ Their homemade carrot cake is excellent, and I’m fussy when it comes to carrot cake, my favorite😀 Great location in downtown Red Bank on Wallace Street, which is not busy. There is municipal parking nearby. Keep in mind you generally have to pay in Red Bank unless you’re willing to walk a bit. Also, a special mention goes out to special events. They’re particularly good at parties. They scale well to what the needs of the event. It can be simple to full sit-down dinner or buffet.“
