“My first time ordering catering food for the holidays from Simply Sofrito I was nervous. The food was delicious, and Yasmin was so kind and took the time to take my order, addressing any questions or concerns I had. They even delivered my catering order all the way to my home and took great care with it. This is why I came back to order for Christmas because I knew we weren't going to be disappointed! The food is made with natural ingredients, and I can really tell the difference... it tasted so good. I loved all the food I ordered from Simply Sofrito; my favorites were the guineo escabeche, potato capers pasteles, empanadas, and the coconut flan. If you don't eat meat, she does have vegetarian and vegan options. I definitely recommend Simply Sofrito if you crave Puerto Rican dishes. I would love to eat at the restaurant sometime too!“

“Had the Tour of Italy. Chicken Parm was a 10/10. Fettuccine Alfredo was a 9/10. Meat Lasagna 9/10. Pasta Fajoli Soup 8/10. Could have had more fettuccine alfredo, the serving size was a bit small for that, which I was surprised because it's only pasta. However, everything was hot and very fresh. Soup or salad is unlimited, as well as breadsticks, with the regular dinner entree. Drinks are unlimited refills. Pay right at the table with your card on the tablet and get a printed receipt. Great, attentive service. Would highly recommend. It was $49.00 with tax for 2 Lemonades ($3.65 each), spaghetti and meatballs ($17 approx.), Tour of Italy ($22 approx.) + Tip. Definitely worth it. However as a tip, I would say skip the more expensive Tour of Italy and just get one large entree.“

“Absolute BEST Indian food in the area! Super freshly cooked and the food is so aromatic. We had the chicken tikka masala and goat karahi - both were super flavorful and the meat is very tender. The sauce also doesn’t taste sweet like some Indian food tends to make their masala. The naan bread was also amazing! The portions are decent and we had plenty plus leftovers. Singh was very kind and attentive to us! Will definitely be back.“

The silverware is not clean and the tables and floors are not clean. The tables nearby remain uncleared for the duration of our dining. They were packed today so I ended up enjoying the food in my car, but nonetheless looking forward to sitting down and eating one day. I’m totally a fan of their main marinara sauce. Sometimes I’ve asked for it on the side. My wife and I have liked the seafood pasta panadora. I tend to order a lot of salads and I’ve tried most of them. My favorite is their chopped salad ($18). Sometimes I get it with the chicken option. I really like their own salad dressing. It’s a little different. The Greek salad is really good too. The braised slow cook short ribs are very popular; a long time specialty item. Their lunch menu is very reasonable. Surprisingly good burgers and sandwiches. I’m particularly a fan of their tuna sandwich, with several variations. I have found the service to always be excellent. I noticed their bread has been outstanding. Owner said they invested in a new ovens from Italy✅ Their homemade carrot cake is excellent, and I’m fussy when it comes to carrot cake, my favorite😀 Great location in downtown Red Bank on Wallace Street, which is not busy. There is municipal parking nearby. Keep in mind you generally have to pay in Red Bank unless you’re willing to walk a bit. Also, a special mention goes out to special events. They’re particularly good at parties. They scale well to what the needs of the event. It can be simple to full sit-down dinner or buffet.“

But last nite I had pizza with a very burned crust. the sauce recipe is also different so didn't enjoy pizza?or eggplant rollatini. the bruscetta also had to be sent back because bread was extremely hard.
