“Turning Point is a GREAT place for breakfast or brunch. They close at 2 so I haven’t visited for lunch yet. The food is excellent, the decor is modern a bright, and the service is top notch. They have plenty of vegan and vegetarian options. I appreciate that the manager stopped by our table to make sure we had a pleasant experience. We did! “I have the pleasure of eating here almost every Friday faithfully. The workers , food and atmosphere the restaurant and well as the location make this an event all on its own. All the pies are amazing yes I’ve eaten them all. The meatballs are so so good just very very delicious food to consume with friends and family. The beers are local and are on tap as well fantastic as well. In general I would recommend this place to anyone. It is a pleasure speaking to the staff literally I talk to them all. “4.5 ⭐️ I came here with my husband on a Saturday night and we loved it! We didn’t know what to expect. Also we pulled into a strip mall and were a little weary to say the least. Ended up being fantastic! We ordered the cold mixed platter, phyllos (beef). They give you a ton of pita lasting into the meal. I had the combo of falafel, chicken shish, rice. And he had lamb, beef shish saitain style(? Maybe misspelled). Everything was so delicious. No ‘funky’ pieces of any meat, very good portions. I liked the falafel but wish I doubled in chicken. Dessert - u would highly recommend the lava cake.The service is so friendly. Our waitress Toni was patient to explain the menu to us. “I got a vegan ice cream cake here for my mother’s birthday. My mom is dairy free and she was so over the moon to have an ice cream cake. It was absolutely delicious and SO hard to believe that it wasn’t actually ice cream because it had all of the qualities of the best ice cream cakes like chocolate layers and becoming perfectly melty on your plate. “Being from Keyport, broad street diner is one of the most popular and iconic restaurants in our town. When you step into this diner it feels like a journey back in time, with its retro decor and friendly atmosphere. I was seated on a stool and really felt that retro vibe. Within 5-10 minutes I got my food, the waitress was very nice and attentive even when it was a packed house. My order of two eggs were cooked to perfection. The eggs were accompanied by a generous portion of golden-brown home fries and corned beef hash. Overall, my experience at Broad Street Diner was nothing short of delightful. From the friendly service to the delicious food, every aspect exceeded my expectations. My meal cost me about $22 dollars with tip which isn't bad because of how good and the amount of food I was given.“

However, despite making a 9:30 pm reservation for Friday via OpenTable, upon arrival, we were hurried to place our entire order right away due to the kitchen closing at 10 pm. Initially, we were advised to hold off on ordering drinks until after we'd ordered our food. It's worth noting they don't serve alcohol; it's BYOB, though their mango lassi is outstanding. By 10:15 pm, we found ourselves as the only patrons left, feeling pressured to eat quickly. Given that our reservation was accepted for 9:30 pm, we had anticipated having at least an hour to savor our meal but felt rushed by the staff to conclude by 10:30 pm. Despite our eagerness and appetite leading us to order generously, we were compelled to take most of our meal home.“

“Owner should learn how to treat customers We were a party of four and we arrived on time for a 7:45 reservation. When we arrived there were many people waiting to be seated. We were told that the wait would only be 10 - 15 minutes. Fifteen minutes later we were told that the wait would be an additional 10 - 15 minutes. A half hour later my wife was told that the wait would only be another 10 - 15 minutes. After 45 minutes I requested to speak with the owner and I was told that I was speaking with the owner (at that point there was only one other group waiting to be seated). They informed me that a group of six with an 8:00 reservation was just seated. I said that it was not fair to make us wait 45 minutes since we did have a reservation and the people with a later reservation were just seated. I said that I may have something to say about it after the meal. The reply was "if you have something to say, say it now"! I replied that I would reserve my thoughts until after the meal. How insulting, imagine waiting over 45 minutes and then being told if I had anything to say I shouldn't wait till after my dinner, that I should say it now. I replied that I would wait till after the meal before I had any additional comments. With that we were refused service and we were told to leave. I am a 75 year old retired veteran and in my life I was never treated in this manner. When we grew up we had more respect for others. This is not how customers should be treated.“

We wrongly assumed it was broken or as it's Sunday parking was free Got a ticket, Freehold must be only town in NJ that charges for parking on a Sunday, so that pizza dinner was pretty costly“

“I have loved this place since the original in Little Silver when they were lunch and a small dinner venue. They had the best homemade soup. Now that they have expanded and our primarily breakfast and lunch the are still amazing. And I've been to multiple....Toms River, Long Branch, Sea Girt, Cherry Hill, etc. Consistent no matter which one you go to. And the coffee is amazing too. I love my French presses!“
