“I have dined here multiple times. The food is always great as is the service. The restaurant has a cute vibe, however the last few times I have eaten here the restaurant has been extremely dirty. The silverware is not clean and the tables and floors are not clean. The tables nearby remain uncleared for the duration of our dining. “Just the best little coffee shop around! I'm not a big coffee guy, but they have an Malt Cold Brew that I get with oat milk that is heavenly and surprisingly doesn't give me the jitters like so many others do. Other times, their Iced Matcha Latte (also with oat milk) is just the right amount of refreshing that I need when stumbling into work there at Bell Works. But, if I'm really being honest, it is the staff there that keeps me coming back each day I work from the office. I feel like Norm from Cheers when I walk in, greeted by name with my customary order already on its way to being made and I don't even need to give them my name or phone number for the loyalty program, such is their attention to customer service. Do yourself a favor and stop by and tell them Gary sent you.“

“This is a pretty good Neapolitan style pizza!
I wish they had a few more choices maybe with mozzarella di bufala (or some other classic toppings for this style such as prosciutto) and, more importantly, I wish they had delivery service available.

One thing to note is that they close the wood burning ovens after lunch and start using the electric ones during the afternoon/evening. At least, that is the case during the week. Not sure if it happens on weekends too. The pizza is still very good but there are a few differences when cooked in brick vs electric (I prefer brick-coal/wood fire)“

“Three of us had a wonderful dine-in experience at Koy Grill Marlboro/Morganville enjoying authentic Turkish/Mediterranean flavors and attentive service. From the moment we opened the door at 8:30 pm on a Sunday evening, we were greeted by a hostess who genuinely welcomed us to the restaurant. When we were seated, a pretty glass bottle of cold water was brought to our table, along with seasoned fresh/homemade Turkish bread and olive tapenade. The dinnerware and utensils were clean and tightly wrapped in napkin. Waiter and hostess (Ali and Olivia) introduced themselves. New to restaurant, I was given ample time to review menu. Both Ali (in training) and Olivia were very patient with my many menu questions. Needless to say, Ali and Olivia were spot on. We ordered multiple appetizers - shepherd salad, hummus + pita, crispy feta in phyllo rolls, and lentil soup. For dinner we had chicken shish, lamb adana, and lamb gyro + pita that I opted to top with grilled mushrooms and hot pepper. The online photos did not do the dishes any justice. I should have taken my camera out to share how plentiful the dishes were when served and how perfectly grilled the meats were, too! The food had delicious seasoning - that did not repeat afterwards. We took leftovers home and will enjoy lunch the next day. We each had desserts, too, that were served in glassware. One pistachio/gelato and two hazelnut/chocolate flute - both as pictured on menu. We were offered to take glassware home with us afterwards, but forgot to take with us while we focused on remembering to take our bagged leftovers. All in all, it was a truly enjoyable, unplanned Sunday evening dinner. Aside from the freshly cooked delicious food and desserts, it was one of the most pleasant interactions with restaurant staff that I can remember in a long time. “Owner should learn how to treat customers We were a party of four and we arrived on time for a 7:45 reservation. When we arrived there were many people waiting to be seated. We were told that the wait would only be 10 - 15 minutes. Fifteen minutes later we were told that the wait would be an additional 10 - 15 minutes. A half hour later my wife was told that the wait would only be another 10 - 15 minutes. After 45 minutes I requested to speak with the owner and I was told that I was speaking with the owner (at that point there was only one other group waiting to be seated). They informed me that a group of six with an 8:00 reservation was just seated. I said that it was not fair to make us wait 45 minutes since we did have a reservation and the people with a later reservation were just seated. I said that I may have something to say about it after the meal. The reply was "if you have something to say, say it now"! I replied that I would reserve my thoughts until after the meal. How insulting, imagine waiting over 45 minutes and then being told if I had anything to say I shouldn't wait till after my dinner, that I should say it now. I replied that I would wait till after the meal before I had any additional comments. With that we were refused service and we were told to leave. I am a 75 year old retired veteran and in my life I was never treated in this manner. When we grew up we had more respect for others. This is not how customers should be treated.“

“I've been to this location quite a few times since it opened. The service has been good each time. The temperature of the food is always on point. The serving size is just right. Sometimes there is too much salt. The Mongolian beef particularly has been salty. The food has changed since 2020. Some things taste different, such as the crab wonton. Still good, but different and the sauce for dipping is not the same as it was. They have great cocktails. They even make seasonal ones. They have a great selection. Its really dark inside and while I dont mind it , sometimes I wish it was just a little less dark. Music isn't overwhelming. The noise level is not bad. I had the Orange Chicken spicy and it was delicious. Not too spicy, but the temperature was definitely hot. The pork dumplings were good as well, but again the sauce has changed for this one too. Bathrooms were clean. Parking can be challenging (it's at a mall so not all the time) small area for waiting to be seated.“

Pizza is a classic, but when it comes to sandwiches I recommend the Montague (a breaded chicken and roasted pepper sandwich) and the meatball sub. “I could not even count on 5 hands how many times I have been to THIS specific playa bowls in just the past month. It is my go-to spot simply because of the food, atmosphere, and staff. My go to is the Nutella bowl, however, I do dabble in other menu items such as the booster bowl for a great intake of protein and a good balance. My journey does not stop there though because in addition to my bowl I also grab protein bites for a quick snack later in the day. These fuel me for HOURS on end and I can't get enough of them. I would LOVE to be buried in a basket of these things. For events and office parties, I order their catering packages. Normally catering is too expensive for what you get but not here! The price for food was incredible and a huge hit at all the parties and events. The staff is honestly the best part of the place because they are incredible. They are always so helping and friendly and never fail to make my kids smile. The manager obviously has been hands on because they are AYYYYYMAZING!

It’s a little different. The Greek salad is really good too. The braised slow cook short ribs are very popular; a long time specialty item. Their lunch menu is very reasonable. Surprisingly good burgers and sandwiches. I’m particularly a fan of their tuna sandwich, with several variations. I have found the service to always be excellent. I noticed their bread has been outstanding. Owner said they invested in a new ovens from Italy✅ Their homemade carrot cake is excellent, and I’m fussy when it comes to carrot cake, my favorite😀 Great location in downtown Red Bank on Wallace Street, which is not busy. There is municipal parking nearby. Keep in mind you generally have to pay in Red Bank unless you’re willing to walk a bit. Also, a special mention goes out to special events. They’re particularly good at parties. They scale well to what the needs of the event. It can be simple to full sit-down dinner or buffet.“
