“It was our honor and privilege to be a part of a dear friend's B'day Bash last Sunday at Kochi. Dining at Kochi was one of the, if not THE, most memorable experience ever. We were totally floored by the exquisite food - and service - provided by Chef and Owner Mr. Jebu Matthew and his team. From the cool berry drink and amazing classic South Indian appetizers, to the numerous - and for us, many new - items that kept appearing in front of us almost magically during the main meal, served in the traditional South Indian style (on banana leaves), right through the delectable halwa and delicious jaggery rice payasam (desserts), we could feel the love and careful attention with which each item was prepared and pride with which each item was served. Plus, being served by Mr. Matthew himself was, in and of itself, humbling. He patiently explained the intricacies of each delicacy which helped us understand the complexity of the cuisine's varied flavors. To be actually seated (for hours) and served at the table greatly enhanced the culinary experience. We have rarely, if ever, felt that we have consumed a feast - but now, can proudly say so - because of Mr. Matthew and our experience at Kochi. Honestly, they have the best curry goat and oxtails I have ever had; and the seasonings are perfect. I will be going here every time I come to Jersey, and that's a promise. You have to go there!“

“Dinner last was an ABSOLUTE DELIGHT 💕. My cousins and I had cocktails to start the evening. Their French Negroni was superb. M’s starters selections were fantastic! - Quail Lollipops and Foie Gras Mousse. For my entree, I had Steak Frites-Bavette. Dinner was nothing short of magical. The service was TOP-NOTCH. “Stopped for lunch with hubs and friends. We we're looking to share a pizza, this is NOT that place. Yes, personal size for dine in. We opted for sandwiches. 2 ordered the roast pork, broccoli rabe, sharp provolone and both finished and raved how delicious 😋 Other 2 of us ordered the cheesesteak with LTO, red wine vinegar and olive oil, I added light mayo. The rolls these sandwiches were served were fantastic 😋 The sammies were NOT "packed" with fillings like a cheesesteak joint. Nicely presented with homemade potato chips. Quality of ingredients is huge because I can't eat a lot. The red wine vinegar and olive oil was top notch. I use red wine vinegar almost daily 😋 I would definitely go back for the same meal, about 1hr from my home and worth the trip 😋“

The food was fresh and full of flavor, especially the truffle flatbread and the roasted potato ravioli, both simple and delicious in the best way. The apple cider donut with homemade ice cream was super good and felt like the perfect comforting ending. The drinks were great too, especially the spiced pear gin with a really nice balance of ginger and botanicals. Overall it just felt like a warm, welcoming place in Princeton where everything comes together naturally.“

“High Tea to celebrate a friend’s birthday. What a treat. I had no idea I could arrange a High Tea in central NJ. Prince Tea House was wonderful. We all enjoyed the food and ambiance. The robot was adorable, especially when s/he sang “Happy Birthday” to my friend. A wonderful ‘Ladies Day Out’ for 5 of us. Plans were already being made to return by members of my party.“

We ordered ourselves a creme brulee (caramelized on demand by the friendly staff) and an Opera for takeout. Tasty and perfectly sized without being too overbearing or sweet.

My Opera was beautiful. Speckled with gold dust, delicate layers of chocolate, mousse and nutty pastes. So much flavor in each soft spoonful. Exactly what I needed for a birthday treat for myself!“

“I had the steak burrito at the Piscataway location today and it did not disappoint. Excellent food and the nachos with Nutella are fire. They had so many fresh made salsa and bottled hot sauce to put on my burrito. I think I found my new Mexican spot. Can't wait to try more of the menu. Highly recommend. 10/10“

“I love this place, however, yesterday I bought one of my favorite pastries at the store the Kouign Maman. The pastry was hard, I did not even realized how hard it was until I got to my destination. I got one for me and my sister and I was embarrassed on how hard they were. Not sure if they were overcooked or was old and they overheated to sell. Just be careful when you buy this pastry, make sure is fresh. So disappointed because it is my favorite :(“

“There is cafeteria here. Group of 37 people. 30 of them were middle school students from Na-Ju(나주) South Korea. Hungry and tired. Cafeteria staffs were amazing! Lady at register gave us our own check out lane and took orders and it only took 15minutes to feed all 30 hungry middle school students! Food was good. what you can expect from Ivy League. Most importantly staffs were amazing!!“

“I ate at the Monroe store today. I had never been at a Buubakoos before and did not know what to expect. I had the pork burrito and it was off the hook. The place was spotless and the service was spot on. The manager came over and introduced himself as John and asked if everything was satisfactory, and it was more than satisfactory. You would think John was the owner not just the manager, he cared as if was his own business. It was good to see that. I will be back for sure, my new go to place.“

“BEST SUSHI AROUND!!!!!!! I’ve tried sushi up to 20 minutes from Plainsboro and I was disappointed every time. I found out that Hiro opened from a Clippers magazine and I literally couldn’t be more excited that it opened 2 minutes away from my apartment. Super clean, great music, nice decorations! Will definitely be returning. Best of all, no more complaining about how the sushi in the Princeton area is horrible!!! :) love love love!“

The service was exceptional — the staff (Mr. Ashok) was not only kind and helpful but also attentive to every detail, making sure I had exactly what I wanted. The quality of the sandwich was top-notch, with fresh ingredients and perfectly balanced flavors that left me satisfied and impressed. On top of that, the cleanliness of the store was impeccable, which is something not often seen at many other locations. “Kind and friendly service. I came here a couple of years ago and they served me coffee from a Keurig. Perhaps different ownership but now it’s completely different. Serving legit Stumptown coffee and wide variety of espresso drinks and other goodies. Glad I tried it again.“

“On a very cold December day we had several hours before a concert, and there was no coffee shop to be found because the university was closed. We stumbled upon this oasis of Com and Indian home cooking. They welcomed us in where we made ourselves at home, had delicious chai, excellent appetizers and entrées. The family could not have been more warm and turned what was a
cold grumpy day into a delightful pre-concert experience. For appetizers, the crunchy salmon and the crispy vegetables were our choice. I had the lemon coriander soup, which was lovely. Our entrées were the lamb Rogan Josh, mint chicken, and the cauliflower. We were very grateful for our delicious meal.“
