“This was my second time visiting this café. The first time we tried the bagels and really enjoyed them. This time, we ordered an Italian hero, but it honestly didn’t impress me. I know it’s a simple dish, but it didn’t meet my expectations. The lettuce was served as a whole leaf instead of being properly chopped, and the sandwich was quite dry—I had to ask for extra vinegar to make it better.

The service is good, but this is definitely a place for bagels. I wouldn’t expect much from the rest of the menu.“

My go-to order is a jalapeño cheddar bagel with Taylor ham, egg, and cheese, finished with a little salt, pepper, and ketchup. Every bite is perfect — the bagels are fresh, the flavors are on point, and the ingredients are always top quality.

I purchased here a few times via the TGTG app and purchased bagels and their delicious home made assorted flavor cream cheeses. Additionally, the owner Ernesto and his wife are so genuine, customer service focused and take pride in the products/service they provide to their clients and community. “This has to be one of the Best bagel stores in NJ. Eric and Christie are amazing owners and everything is made fresh, including the variety of Cream cheeses they offer. Have to try the sundried tomato cream cheese, it is a favorite. The staff are friendly and pleasant and very efficient in what they do. I call ahead my order being they are always busy. “Absolutely the best bagel there is. Each one no matter the flavor is a delight. And their food that they put on the bagel is delicious. Get there before 3;30 PM if you want sliced cheese because they close the slicer at 3;30. I know if I get there at 3;32 PM the slicer is off. So I get tuna fish instead and it’s about as good as it gets. The staff is friendly and do a good job. What a place!“

“I found this gem of a spot when visiting family in NJ. This has to be the best I’ve had since becoming celiac 6 years ago. The bakery items are to die for and the bagel breakfast sandwiches are the best ever. I got to stop in this past weekend and got a few goodies to bring home. “This is our favorite place for bagels in Tenafly. We moved from NYC and missed our morning bagels and thought we’d never find a good replacement. Their bagels are soft enough but not doughy and their everything bagel has the perfect amount of seasoning. I like that this bagel has a little salt in the seasoning and a little onion bite.
