On a recent visit, a new employee made some rookie mistakes that I brought up to the owner. He addressed the situation right away and more than made up for the only negative experience I've ever had there.

Last week, I ordered ahead to make sure they wouldn't run out of the bagels I wanted, and the person working that morning greeted me with a huge smile and my order all ready to go. He seemed genuinely excited to help me, as the staff always appears to truly enjoy what they do and make customers happy.

“This small business is just wonderful. The food is delicious, the bagels and sandwiches are so fresh and tasty and the bagels are large. I purchased here a few times via the TGTG app and purchased bagels and their delicious home made assorted flavor cream cheeses. Additionally, the owner Ernesto and his wife are so genuine, customer service focused and take pride in the products/service they provide to their clients and community. Always hits the spot and revives me! The bagels are consistently perfect, soft and delicious, my favorite is pumpernickel but their egg everything is also great. I go with SEC +avocado and hashbrown, SPK. The portions are always great and loaded. And lastly, can't beat their prices! We love Henry's!“

“This has to be one of the Best bagel stores in NJ. Eric and Christie are amazing owners and everything is made fresh, including the variety of Cream cheeses they offer. Have to try the sundried tomato cream cheese, it is a favorite. The staff are friendly and pleasant and very efficient in what they do. I call ahead my order being they are always busy. Don't be surprised if when you arrive there is a line out the door, they are that good. 👍“
