“It was my first visit, and the bagels were incredibly fresh with a perfect texture.
Crispy on the outside and chewy on the inside — just the way real New York–style bagels should be.
They have a great variety of spreads, and the staff were super friendly and welcoming.
I’m definitely coming back with friends to try more flavors next time.

“U know its going to be good when u walk into the tiny front room and its always packed. Quality ny service n they make sure youre taken care of even through the crowd of people. Been here a few times and both times the food was pretty good. Expecially for the price! Burrittos are huge n tastey. Bagels n cinimmon rolls are monster sized! Recommend this place for sure if youre in the area lookin for a quick bite.“

We live near a Goldberg's location and I still prefer/default to Henry's on a Sunday morning, especially after a late Saturday night on the town

Always hits the spot and revives me! The bagels are consistently perfect, soft and delicious, my favorite is pumpernickel but their egg everything is also great. I go with SEC +avocado and hashbrown, SPK. The portions are always great and loaded. And lastly, can't beat their prices! We love Henry's!“

“I found this gem of a spot when visiting family in NJ. This has to be the best I’ve had since becoming celiac 6 years ago. The bakery items are to die for and the bagel breakfast sandwiches are the best ever. I got to stop in this past weekend and got a few goodies to bring home. If you are gluten free and in the are do not pass this place up.“

“It’s a little corner bagel shop and this was superb at many directions.
I had just a quick breakfast and mine was a bagel with CC and another one with butter.
One for later obviously but with a coffee add up only to $8.
Bagels were how old school type was crispy and chewy.
Just a regular cup of coffee tasted so good much better than trendy chais like Starbucks.
Totally satisfied with the food and drink and services by the guys.

“This is our favorite place for bagels in Tenafly. We moved from NYC and missed our morning bagels and thought we’d never find a good replacement. Their bagels are soft enough but not doughy and their everything bagel has the perfect amount of seasoning. I like that this bagel has a little salt in the seasoning and a little onion bite. “I have been a long time customer, since the early 80’s. For the first time I had lunch at the Hot Bar and met the new executive chef Chris Smith while I was serving myself. Everything I tried was absolutely delicious and he was so friendly and helpful. Kudos to Stews for continually hiring outstanding employees and welcome to Chris.“

I rated atmosphere at five because it’s possible to speak with other locals at tables and chairs (5 tables and 15 chairs including a single table and chair next to a south facing window -great sun trap on a cold morning). My favourite is an everything bagel with cream cheese toasted and coffee.“

“This is constructive criticism, but when one of those white girls makes my sandwich i immediately know that the sandwich is going to be mediocre. No matter how many times you tell them “TOAST THE BREAD” they don’t listen. Especially when it’s a hot sandwich, by the time you get home the sandwich morphs into mush & it’s a soggy mess. “I love this place. I normally go there in the morning, so this review is pretty much based on the bagels or bagel sandwiches I get. But they are great. The bagels are made there. They're awesome. They make the bacon, egg, and cheese sandwiches even more delicious. Their coffee is good and the staff is friendly. I can only imagine their Latino food is just as good. Street parking is limited but that's the only thing that is even remotely negative and that's not their fault! I would say if you try them, you won't be disappointed.“
