I went all the way from Jersey City to get a plate of Frituras... which consisted of Pork Chops, Fried Chicken, Salami, and fried Plantains and it did not disappoint! The place was clean and the workers were nice. I definitely do recommend this place to anyone looking for great 🇩🇴 food. They offer lots of different types of Dominican dishes!“

“I love this place. I stopped here because it piqued my interest. I got the vegetable chaufa with added chicken and a choco bread pudding to go.

Absolutely fresh and delicious. I loved the pink sauce added into the chaufa, it was so sweet and added a nice touch of a different flavor. One employee and asked me how it was and explained how the pink sauce was made.

The place is so warm and cozy and the people that work there are so friendly. One of the workers had given a postal worker a drink for free while they were dropping off the mail. It was such a nice act of kindness that warmed my heart.

“This place is an absolute hidden gem. The front door is literally located between 2 service bay doors at Sansone Toyota. Don't let the hard to find and unusual location sway you, the journey of discovery is just part of the fun. Once through the door, you take the stairs up to a beautifully maintained cafe oasis. We were going for breakfast and left sad that we had no room left to stay all day and enjoy the lunch buffet. They have a beautiful open kitchen concept where you can see all the fresh food being prepared. The breakfast was excellent with wonderful fresh ingredients and satisfying portion sizes. Don't miss the pupusas, a house specialty. The owner, Rosa, is as sweet as can be and runs the restaurant with various family members. We were staying at the nearby Fairfield Inn due to a flight cancellation at Newark Airport and made the walk over. Not the easiest walk due to a lack of sidewalks in the area, but there is a crosswalk to get across the busy highway. We were able to successfully use our airline food vouchers (come as virtual visa cash cards), so we were pleased with that as well. Rosa's should not be missed if you are in the area!“

“Came in for lunch and our server Paola was the sweetest. She made me the most delicious Coconut Mojito. Food was delicious, fresh and perfectly seasoned.
I highly recommend if you want Colombian Food or soup this place will suffice.

“April 21 we had our mother Birthday 🥳 dinner here and the service was excellent! The portions of the delicious food were large. All of the employees were friendly and sang to my mother and she cried happy tears. I would definitely recommend this restaurant to everyone I know. Thank you for making my mother so happy. “This latin American restaurant was easy to pick up from and the owner made my plate herself. She asked me what i wanted to eat & there was a lot of food left over. They had steak, fish, beef and chicken, 5 different rices and sides. I chose roasted chicken vegetables rice and she threw in some extra! The food was flavorful and made with love“

“I placed an order on GrubHub A day after Thanksgiving. For Dominican restaurants a lot of restaurants usually dedicate certain days for certain dishes, such as stew or soup because of the process it takes however, today I was really sick and the owner of the restaurant was kind enough to make a soup from scratch for me. When I placed the order on GrubHub, I placed an order for soup however, in the caption, it did say that there was no soup for today since today is a Friday. But my vision was so blurry that I didn’t even notice it. However, the owner called back and informed me and she immediately heard how sick I literally sounded and she told me don’t worry about it that she was going to make it from scratch. It’s just gonna take some time. Honestly, their food is really good. My sister orders from them a lot so that’s why I decided to order from them and they’re truly sweet.“

I live in Pennsylvania and my family lives a few blocks from the restaurant.
Every time I'm in town I bring a dozen home with me.
I even pick up some for my friends at home.
The Cuban seems like their favorite. Mine also.

Chimi slaps hard and I’m a big fan of the fried sweet plantain they stay sweet and delish. I saw a review about service and have been here now 7 times?
