This place seems super new, and I've started stopping by after my classes at NJIT since it's nearby and opens early enough. The baristas/workers have great customer service and are very kind and welcoming! The space is quite small as there's only 4-5 tables, but considering the location, it's good for grab-n-go customers.
The food I've had so far are the blueberry danish, almond croissants, and the classic sandwich. Everything tastes fresh and it's great that the pastries are toasted/hot when they serve it. The drink selection is amazing, and the drinks I've had so far are the best in the area! The drinks seem pretty consistent-tasting too!

“Stunning cafe. Hidden gem for sure. In the middle of the craziest morning, I couldn’t have had a better slowdown than Orange House Cafe. The barista was really patient, kind. I was really taken aback when I saw the elegantly made cappuccino presented to me and the cookie smells delightful. Can’t wait to come back everyday.“

“For a few years, this has been my go to spot when I'm in the Ironbound. Cool vibe and ambiance. Hit or miss on portion sizes. A very notable change over the years. The bacon side is way too small (two skinny slices). The avocado toast has significantly decreased in size but at the same price point, and it's often more cream cheese than avocado most times. Yet, and somewhat reminds me of being back in Brooklyn. Good coffee.“

“I had the pancakes and turmeric latte on Friday (11/22/24) and ordered online delivery Saturday (grilled cheese). This is how amazingly delicious the food/latte is. I took my friend for her first visit and she said the latte felt like a hug and the simple egg sandwich was delicious! We left and didn't feel heavy. I'm not a latte drinker but I have tasted my twin sister's when she orders from the big businesses. Disgusting!! I tried the turmeric latte for the health benefits of the turmeric and was skeptical. “This is one of the most beautiful places around! Sagar puts his heart into this place. It's an oasis in Passaic! Come check it out- for a date, or to meet someone or to just chill. He also rents for special occasions- I've even seen small weddings here! Highly highly recommended. Kosher ice cream and snacks as well. Take your wife or date here! In winter, roaring fire inside. I just love it here. Sitting outside and seeing the beauty around me right now. Tranquil....just awesome. Great place to work from as well.“

“My girlfriend and myself, retired Philadelphia Police Officers were going on a cruise on 9/12/24 out of Cape Liberty. We arrived early and were looking for a cup of coffee and a quick breakfast. Luckily we picked Une Tasse Cafe, the coffee was fantastic and the breakfast wraps and pastries were delicious. The owner was warm and welcoming and introduced us to her dog, who actually let me pet him. I wish this restaurant was closer to where we live, coffee that good is hard to find. I just ordered two pounds on their web site so that I can enjoy it at home. Hopefully on our next cruise we will stop there again.“

“The owner Al and his wife are an amazing power duo that this town definitely needed. He's an amazing chef with a fantastic background and loves treating people to his amazing dishes. “This is a great little café/diner right next to the Westfield train station. We are fairly new to Westfield and went there for the first time a couple of weeks ago. We were wowed by the wonderful customer service of our waitress, Cindy. She was very attentive, provided great order suggestions and also brought over their delicious housemade hot sauce to go along with our eggs. All the food we ordered was wonderful, including the short stack of chocolate chip pancakes, the egg and cheese sandwich on a hard roll, and the Florentine omelette. The chef (maybe owner?), Ash even stopped by later on towards the end of our meal to check on how everything was. We meant to write this review right after that, but then never got around to it and when we went back today a few weeks later, we realized how much we needed to write this up! This time Kirsten and Cindy both helped us out, and Cindy remembered us by our orders from the last time even though we had only been here one time- very impressive and shows a great attention to detail and customer service. Ash came by also, and it was clear he remembered us as well. The food was fresh and tasty yet again (we got the French toast, egg and cheese sandwich, and Greek omelette this time) and the prices are great. This place is a gem and is definitely becoming one of our go-to spots!“

Red Eye is one of her favorite places to eat. She use to work in Montclair. So when she is visiting, this is her place. Great atmosphere!“
