“Our party of 13 celebrated a birthday at Arirang today. Chef Teshima was incredibly professional, and the food he prepared exceeded all our expectations. We thoroughly enjoyed both the delicious food and the lively atmosphere. Tammy, our waitress, provided exceptional service. We all had a wonderful time and will definitely recommend Arirang!“

“Their sushi is very fresh and exceptional! The fish quality was very fresh and their plating was pretty and clean. Sushi chef looks intimidating, however he is friendly and caring. He personally came out of his kitchen just to see how our food was. I love sushi and I have a particular pickiness with sushi. I either goto NYC or upper Bergen to get sashimi and sushi. They serve the real yellowtail and tuna fish! Their salmon and white sashimi meat and wasabi is different from all the other sushi bar/restaurant. I’ve so much to compliment about this sushi restaurant, let your taste bud judge my review, I highly recommend.“

“Best Japanese place in the area IMO.. so lucky to live within less than a mile! Tried the pork fried dumplings today and they were freshly hand made and delicious, the dipping sauce was like a sweet soy, yum. Their ginger dressing is so good we always get extra for our avocado salad. Favorite roll is the Golden Dragon! Don't skip this place. Also very nice owners and staff, every time!“

“This is an interesting little venue with very good Japanese food / sushi. It is not really a fusion but rather distinct menu items (sushi and French (?)). We only tried the sushi and other Japanese dishes and loved them. Service was good but the space is tight and seatings are limiting (6 or 8 pm) but definitely worth a trip.“

“I came across this sushi restaurant and it has been my go-to recommendation for family and friends. The service here is friendly and helpful deciding what is good to order. The salmon skin salad and carpaccio-tuna/salmon is a must try. Often times you try new sushi spots they can be skeptical but food quality and presentation is on point.“

The combination of flavors and texture is unlike any place we have eaten sushi at and we have been eating sushi for over 40 years. The staff is always friendly and cordial. We introduce our friends to Wasu all the time always with rave reviews from them. There just isn't another place like this we have found in the area. Keep up the great work John we greatly appreciate all you do.“

“This is my go to sushi spot outside of traveling to NYC. For reference, I just went into NYC last weekend to a place for omakase, have brewed my own sake, and have traveled and tried plenty of sushi places (far more expensive) via the company credit card. The fish quality here is easily on par with most places 50% more expensive. The "dinner for two" style options are a good deal and it is BYOB if you want to bring wine or sake (which I do generally when I go). The service is incredibly friendly, actually even as an introvert I am tempted to try to strike up a conversation with Mr. Bin as he seems like a cool guy, perhaps next time I will offer him a drink. Anyway, long story short, this is the best sushi spot in the area and is worth going to 100% if you are feeling sushi. Only demerit is they should be more clear on what comes with a salad as I've ordered a second salad before, and that they always offer the oysters which IMO sound expensive (I get 1$ fresh oysters when I'm in florida). But overall this is a solid five star suggestion for sushi in the area.“

“Cozy little sushi shop in downtown Rahway! They consistently serve good tasting sushi - been a repeat customer for months (since I first tried the restaurant!) Love their mango and avocado sushi roll as well as the green dragon rolls. The appetizers are also good! The prices are also very reasonable for sushi. The service is prompt and I believe it's family owned - love seeing familiar faces!“

“The sushi from here is decently priced and they don't pack the rolls with a ton of rice either. I love that the price is good because I'm able to get more of a variety of rolls to try. The fish is fresh and tastes great as well. Definitely worth a trip!“

“Perfect staple for 3 hungry boys who love chicken teriyaki. The atmosphere is very laid back and chill. The neighborhood's really nice. And most importantly the food is extremely good. Great portions and you leave feeling very satisfied. Another important point... 1-year-old 4-year-old and 6-year-old... They absolutely love the chicken teriyaki over white rice. Therefore as a parent I am sold. This really cool location. The owners are extremely hardworking and are so kind to our children. I can see how popular this place is by the mass amount of takeout orders. Overall been going here for quite some time now. Will continue to go here. Great food.Kid-friendliness: High Chairs Available, and the owners are so kind to children.“

“The food was delicious at Nemo. It's BYO, which keeps costs down. The service was a little slow, even for someone who likes leisurely dinners and doesn't want to be rushed. We felt like we were waiting to see our server several times throughout our dinner. We will go back and try it again, since the food was so good.“

“I opted for the signature poke bowl and was not disappointed! I thought the fish was good quality, appreciated that the sauces were on the side so you can adjust how much you want, and the quick pick up time was a plus. The decor is interesting when you go in so definitely a nice place if you are looking for something a little different.“

“pricy, friendly staff, fast take out, had #14 TIGER ROLL, very good, excellent fresh fish but NO CRUNCH on top as advertised which is what makes this particular roll taste better. Piece of lemon would have added more taste so that's why I only gave it 4 starts., probably return when I'm in the area. .“

“My favorite sushi spot in the area. This restaurant is small, but the dim lighting makes for a cozy and relaxing environment. There's so many options on the menu (and pictures, too). I've been here three times, and each visit was great.“

“This was a great find! I found this place on yelp, and I'm really glad I went! I had the tonkatsu ramen with a side of kimchi, and a passionfruit green tea with lychee jelly. The tea, ramen, and kimchi were really good! It wasn't super salty, like other ramen places. This food tastes homemade and unique. The service was good, the waitress was attentive and my food came out really quickly. I went during lunch and it wasn't super busy. I would definitely come back!“

“Visited for lunch and just as good as I remembered. Had to get the Spring Breeze roll - love this combination and have never seen it anywhere else. The lunch box is a great deal too at around 14 bucks. The also have a lunch special where you can pick 2-3 regular rolls with soup and salad. We were able to find street parking out front but if you can't remember there is a public lot nearby.“

“Tokyo Hibachi in Springfield, NJ, is a really cool place. It’s got a mix of old Japanese style and modern vibes, making it a great spot for any kind of dinner. What’s really great about Tokyo Hibachi is how they stick to kosher food but still make it taste super delicious and authentic, just like traditional Japanese meals. Everything they serve is made with top-notch ingredients, and you can tell they put a lot of effort into making their food both look and taste amazing. The people working at Tokyo Hibachi are super nice and really good at their jobs. They make sure everyone is happy and gets what they need, especially when it comes to special food requirements.Tokyo Hibachi isn’t just a regular restaurant; it’s a place where they really care about keeping kosher while serving fantastic Japanese food. “I find it hard to believe I have not argued this place, maybe they changed businesses or owners and my old review is there. Which I can totally own because when I originally started coming here it was just sultan wok and now it is sultan wok/ Asian Express. This is my top choice spot for Chinese takeout locally. To the point where when they are closed and I want Chinese takeout, I just wait until they're open and get something else. My go-to is the general tso is chicken, with which I like to treat myself for lunch when I am working from home. Is this the best Chinese food I've ever eaten, I don't know. Does it satisfy the craving when I have it, absolutely. I would say there are days when I think their food is particularly better than others, without rhyme or reason, but I do tend to find their food tends to be better more often than it's not. Not. I also like when general tso chicken has a nice crunch to it and they tend to have better chicken than other places. I don't think I've ever had it and it'd be soggy unless I'm reheating it which does not count. The woman there tends to be very friendly. Who takes the orders, they have to have a system that gives the name of the customer because she always knows my name and greets him with a hello Mike when she answers the phone. Now if I ordered more regularly I could totally see her knowing my name. However, I do not order frequently enough for her to know who I am, which makes me think they have to have some sort of system. Either way it's nice or is she just that good at her job. All in all, I don't think you can go wrong. Getting takeout from here. I've tried some other spots in town with high recommendations and have been sorely disappointed. I hate soggy chicken and I've never gotten soggy chicken from here.“

Would highly recommend!“

“I'm not usually a Sushi person but my cousin decided to take me on a lunch date to one of her favorite spots. We ordered the lunch special ( 2 orders of shrimp tempura, 1 order of crab roll) and we opted for salad versus soup. We also ordered a salmon teriyaki meal to share. All in all everything was delicious, came out quickly and service was quick. I love that it's also in a plaza with plenty of parking.I would come back here again to try other items from the menu“

“This is one of the few sushi places (if not the only one) in the area and surrounding towns that has a great vegan sushi option. Namely, vegetable maki roll is very good. While most other sushi places in the area offer very bland vegan options like a cucumber roll or avocado roll and nothing else re: rolls, Mizo sushi vegetable maki roll offers a nice combination of various textures and flavors all in one. So, a nice place to get vegan sushi in Cranford. And if you go to NYC, I super highly recommend Beyond Sushi, a fully vegan restaurant offering “gourmet” sushi experience. Minds and taste buds of both vegans and non-vegans are guaranteed to be blown away. That would be a Michelin-star grade experience.“

“Randomly stumbled upon Sushi Saga after our first AYCE sushi option had a ridic wait. I had called and said there was no wait. We arrived and we were seated immediately. They had the usual AYCE sushi restaurant items- various sushi rolls, hand rolls, sashimi, hot appetizers, small plate dishes, and desserts. We placed our order of a few of the hot and cold apps and sushi and sashimi. And gave our completed order forms to the waiter. We loved the variety of the hot apps and omg they were all so good. The seafood medley was my favorite and it was served on a clam shell. Nice presentation. The crab rangoons were amazing with the Thai chili dipping sauce. The sushi was served altogether on a big platter. All were made to order and was so fresh. So delicious! Overall we enjoyed our meal and the food was great. Service was great and the entire staff was super friendly. We will definitely be back again.“

“Like their sushi(especially specialty ones). Usually, do takeout. My last takeout was delayed for 40 min(first time ever) due to absolute "customer jam". Usually, they are half empty when I order, this time, they were packed, and there was a line waiting too.So despite huge delay - still 5 stars.. They provided me a small table after it became available, brought some tea while I waited, and even added some extras while being absolutely apologetic for the whole issue. Have no hard feeling whatsoever - guys really try their very best.“
“Fresh tasting fish and not overly cold. The specialty rolls were great as well. Kids loved everything and even fought over the last salmon sashimi. The portions are reasonable. We got in around 5:15 and it was empty at least on the main floor; there was a party on the second floor where the hibachi is. It's quiet on a Thursday night.“

“I've ordered take-out about four times, and I keep coming back. The sushi is usually fresh and delicious; and it's a decent price for the quality. In my last order, the rice was dry, so I'm bringing them down a star for that. Other than that, the people behind the counter are friendly. They get orders out quickly, and if you order online, you get free rolls for larger orders. Overall, it's a decent spot.“

“The best sushi spot on Staten Island. This location doesn't get as crowded as the others, but still has the same quality of service and a great ambiance. When you order it to come to the house, you get premium packaging, to the point where even the bag it comes in is a keeper. The fish is very fresh, and all the entrees are great even if you don't like sushi/sashimi. My dad missed the sushi train, but even he likes coming here for the Scottish salmon. Highly recommend.“

“Ordered the pork belly ramen and a sushi roll; the sushi was good to my taste (especially for the price), although I’m hardly a connoisseur. As for the ramen, I thought the noodles were decent, and the pork broth was extremely good. There weren’t a lot of extras—just chives, corn, and a soft boiled egg—but it was a really good sized portion for the price. The only real disappointment was that the soft boiled egg was in fact hard boiled, and the chasu seemed a little bland.“

“A nice little gem tucked away in the APA hotel. If you have a craving for Japanese food, this spot is it. (They had Fried Aji on their daily special the day I went ) I got their Salmon Ikura Don, Botan Ebi and Otoro a la carte, and their Black Sesame Panna Cotta. Food was pretty good, better than any Japanese restaurant in the main Edison area, but there are some little things to nitpick at. Some of the salmon was still slightly frozen (I went during lunch on a Tuesday), and I didn't realize some of the salmon would be slightly grilled. Thought it'd be all sashimi but that's my fault for not asking. I do wish that the veggies in the don came as a side salad instead of in the don itself. I feel like the veggies messed up the Salmon Ikura flavor profile a bit. The a la carte sushi were great! So delicious, but the Botan shrimp head came way after the botan shrimp body. Maybe their kitchen was busy, it's not really a big deal for me but I can imagine it might not be ideal for other customers. The Black Sesame Panna Cotta was not too sweet but I do wish the black sesame profile was a little bit stronger. Again, just me being nitpicky, I would definitely order it again! I will have to go back to try more of their menu items because they do have a wide selection of stuff I haven't seen elsewhere in Edison. Their service was impeccable. Something a really upscale place would have!“
