“My family and I have had the great pleasure of having dinner at 618 in Freehold NJ on several occasions. It has quickly become our favorite restaurant! Everything on their menu is wonderful and we’ve tried so many appetizers, main courses and cocktails at this point. It’s rare to find a cool, comfortable restaurant with so many great cocktails and incredible choices across all menu selections. And, if that is not enough, their staff is truly a dream team. The owners, manager, hostesses and servers ALL go way out of their way to make everyone feel like guests having a special dining experience in their happy home. “Owner should learn how to treat customers We were a party of four and we arrived on time for a 7:45 reservation. When we arrived there were many people waiting to be seated. We were told that the wait would only be 10 - 15 minutes. Fifteen minutes later we were told that the wait would be an additional 10 - 15 minutes. A half hour later my wife was told that the wait would only be another 10 - 15 minutes. After 45 minutes I requested to speak with the owner and I was told that I was speaking with the owner (at that point there was only one other group waiting to be seated). They informed me that a group of six with an 8:00 reservation was just seated. I said that it was not fair to make us wait 45 minutes since we did have a reservation and the people with a later reservation were just seated. I said that I may have something to say about it after the meal. The reply was "if you have something to say, say it now"! I replied that I would reserve my thoughts until after the meal. How insulting, imagine waiting over 45 minutes and then being told if I had anything to say I shouldn't wait till after my dinner, that I should say it now. I replied that I would wait till after the meal before I had any additional comments. With that we were refused service and we were told to leave. I am a 75 year old retired veteran and in my life I was never treated in this manner. When we grew up we had more respect for others. This is not how customers should be treated.“

Arrived at 502 Bakery a few minutes before 9AM, but when I approached the door the sign said, "Sorry We're Closed!" I did not realize they opened at 9:30AM. So I went back to my vehicle to wait 30-minutes until they officially opened. LOL... Wait?! Yes, the crumb cake is that good! Not more than 2-minutes later, I looked back from my vehicle to see the neon 'OPEN' sign on! They have a huge selection of bagels, spreads and toppings to choose from that it’s quite overwhelming when it comes to making my decision before placing my order. “First time trying this place. Wife was in the mood for burritos but ended up getting the shrimp bowl which she loved with sweet chili sauce. I got the Silly Philly burrito with jalapeño and mango habanero sauce. Taste was excellent and plenty of beef.

My only gripe is how it was rolled. Not your typical tuck in the sides and roll but completely different to make a shorter fatter burrito. The sad part with this technique is that it makes for an inconsistent mashing of ingredients. When you bite into it, it’s not uniform and I got a whole bunch of rice first and in the end, all beef. I don’t know who came up with that style obviously never tried eating it or doesn’t care about consistency of a bite

My advice is ask for the traditional roll and you will have a much better tasting uniform burrito.“
