“Had the pollo guisado and maduras from Sabor Dominicana and it was absolutely delicious! The chicken was so tender and flavorful, and the seasoning was just perfect - true comfort food!!! “Three of us had a wonderful dine-in experience at Koy Grill Marlboro/Morganville enjoying authentic Turkish/Mediterranean flavors and attentive service. From the moment we opened the door at 8:30 pm on a Sunday evening, we were greeted by a hostess who genuinely welcomed us to the restaurant. When we were seated, a pretty glass bottle of cold water was brought to our table, along with seasoned fresh/homemade Turkish bread and olive tapenade. The dinnerware and utensils were clean and tightly wrapped in napkin. Waiter and hostess (Ali and Olivia) introduced themselves. New to restaurant, I was given ample time to review menu. Both Ali (in training) and Olivia were very patient with my many menu questions. Needless to say, Ali and Olivia were spot on. We ordered multiple appetizers - shepherd salad, hummus + pita, crispy feta in phyllo rolls, and lentil soup. For dinner we had chicken shish, lamb adana, and lamb gyro + pita that I opted to top with grilled mushrooms and hot pepper. The online photos did not do the dishes any justice. I should have taken my camera out to share how plentiful the dishes were when served and how perfectly grilled the meats were, too! The food had delicious seasoning - that did not repeat afterwards. We took leftovers home and will enjoy lunch the next day. We each had desserts, too, that were served in glassware. One pistachio/gelato and two hazelnut/chocolate flute - both as pictured on menu. We were offered to take glassware home with us afterwards, but forgot to take with us while we focused on remembering to take our bagged leftovers. All in all, it was a truly enjoyable, unplanned Sunday evening dinner. Aside from the freshly cooked delicious food and desserts, it was one of the most pleasant interactions with restaurant staff that I can remember in a long time. “It was our honor and privilege to be a part of a dear friend's B'day Bash last Sunday at Kochi. Dining at Kochi was one of the, if not THE, most memorable experience ever. We were totally floored by the exquisite food - and service - provided by Chef and Owner Mr. Jebu Matthew and his team. From the cool berry drink and amazing classic South Indian appetizers, to the numerous - and for us, many new - items that kept appearing in front of us almost magically during the main meal, served in the traditional South Indian style (on banana leaves), right through the delectable halwa and delicious jaggery rice payasam (desserts), we could feel the love and careful attention with which each item was prepared and pride with which each item was served. Plus, being served by Mr. Matthew himself was, in and of itself, humbling. He patiently explained the intricacies of each delicacy which helped us understand the complexity of the cuisine's varied flavors. To be actually seated (for hours) and served at the table greatly enhanced the culinary experience. We have rarely, if ever, felt that we have consumed a feast - but now, can proudly say so - because of Mr. Matthew and our experience at Kochi. Two times they brought over the wrong drinks and one order they completely forgot.. Also when waiter brings over food he should know who ordered what and not have to ask again. “We had an amazing meal a few weeks ago at Luca’s! We were greeted and seated and waited on promptly. We brought our own wine in which they had no problem opening for us. The food was out of this world. Their meatball appetizer is everything you’ve heard and then some. Incredible sauce, bread service, and our meals were excellent. My partner had the octopus for an appetizer and said it was incredible. Both of our meals were amazing and served timely and piping hot. I had the chicken marsala with mushroom risotto, delicious! And he had the veal saltimbocca. The service was prompt, pleasant and just perfect, and the atmosphere is lovely. I highly recommend this restaurant!“

“We were disappointed they weren’t open for in dining- only takeout. HOWEVER, we were delighted by our order- chicken shawarma and grape leaves. The young lady at the counter was sweet and personable.
We were impressed by the array of herb infused bottled vinegar that address a variety of ailments- curious about their effectiveness but at $50 a bottle didn’t want to gamble it.

“extremely generous portions and fresh ingredients at Hummus Republic. honestly i always get the same thing but it never disappoints - lemon chicken is tasty and the garlic jalapeño tahini is a little spicy so it’s a nice touch. the bowl is huge and stuffed to the brim every time - it lasts me for basically two meals and it’s affordable considering how much food you get (about $15 depending if you add any extras). they also have self-service lemonade - the pomegranate and mango lemonade mix is delicious!“
