“We recently hosted a retirement party here, and the experience exceeded all expectations. Michelle went completely above and beyond with the decorations. She asked about our theme and color scheme beforehand and incorporated them into every detail of the room. We actually brought our own decorations and ended up not using most of them because she had already done so much to make the space look beautiful and personalized.

The food was plentiful and absolutely delicious. Everything was presented with the elegance and attention to detail you'd expect at a high-end wedding rather than a typical party. Our guests were genuinely impressed.

The staff was incredibly attentive throughout the event, making sure everyone was taken care of. John behind the bar was especially welcoming and fun, creating unique and delicious drinks that our guests loved.

The private event room is fantastic, complete with its own bar and bathrooms, making it comfortable and convenient for guests. And the panoramic view of Lake Hopatcong is simply unbeatable.

I highly recommend this venue for any special event or function. The service, food, atmosphere, and attention to detail made our celebration truly memorable.“

“We’ve always loved breweries for their family friendly atmosphere including this one. Today we felt shamed for bringing kids and using tables by an employee. She not only scolded us but continued to talk crap and point us out to the other employees. We love the beer and the place but can’t understand why this happened when half the other tables were empty at the point she made a big fuss about it. Definitely not a chill brewery like we’re used to.“

“I've been buying bagels here since I moved to the area in 1997. I can from Long Island where there were many bagel places. Nothing can compare to the Bagel Station, it is in it's own league. Parking can be difficult, but I try to go there when it's not peak times. Bagels are large, covered with seeds, taste great with nothing on them. If you're in the area, it's a must stop.“

“We had such an amazing experience at The Second Half on Main this weekend. We called for a reservation for 7 people on a Saturday night, and they were beyond accommodating. They took us in just 30 minutes before closing and never once made us feel rushed, which honestly says a lot because most places start stacking chairs and spiritually evicting you the second the clock hits closing time.

The food was absolutely fantastic from start to finish. We ordered French onion soups, a Caesar salad for the table, calamari, and everyone got different entrees and drinks. Every single thing was delicious. Not one complaint from anyone at the table, which for a group of humans is basically a statistical miracle.

Our waiter Mike, aka “Buckets,” was incredible the entire night. He never stopped moving, stayed on top of everything, and still made time to go around wishing other tables a Happy Mother’s Day, which was genuinely very sweet to see. You could tell he was working his ass off, but he never stopped smiling and made the whole experience even better. Another gentleman helping him named Matt was also fantastic and super attentive.

We will 100% be back and honestly cannot wait to see everyone again. We’re even considering using them for our friend’s bridal shower this winter because the service, atmosphere, and food were all that good. Highly recommend!“

Simple dish, but it's smell and taste were through the roof perfection. Three warm savory corn tortillas for each and each delectable. “We held my mother and her twin brother’s 75th birthday in the Patio Room on Friday evening. Everything was perfect. The food was wonderful. Everyone was stuffed! My favorite was the shrimp and scallops, my husband’s couldn’t get enough of the prime rib! Jonathan and his team took such great care of us. He was so attentive. I have no idea how he remembered what everyone was drinking because we were getting up and mingling, but he managed to make sure everyone had a drink in their hand. Being next to the pizza oven when it was below freezing made it so cozy! I would absolutely recommend Cinders; a great time was had by all.“

My bf has been coming here for years and swears by this deli as one of the best around.This mom and pop deli is not much to look at from the outside.They have free parking out front with several spots they share with another business.Once inside you can see why they call this place The Parsippany Deli/ Emerald Gifts aka The Irish Deli.As soon as you walk in the front door, they have a glass counter that displays beautiful China from Ireland. They sell teas, marmalade, sausages, bacon, black and white pudding, Irish candies, also Brennan's bread.During the month of March they make and sell homemade Irish Soda Bread.As you make your way to the front counter you will meet owner Eddie, and Avril. They were both very friendly and told me about their business. Posted on the counter is their sandwich and salad menus.The Parsippany deli/Emerald gifts has been in business for 50 years, now I know why. Their prices are reasonable, and everything is homemade. They also do catering.They roast all their own meats like Roast Beef, Turkey Breast, and Baked Virginia Ham. I highly suggest getting a half of a sub. It’s as big as most whole subs.This place doesn’t skimp on their meats, just the opposite.When I got home and opened up my sub I was pleasantly surprised, and couldn’t believe how much meat was on it. It was probably one of the best Italian subs I’ve ever had and I’ve been all over for subs.I ordered their Italian Sub - Ham, Salami, Capocollo they call it Hot Ham, and Cheese. I got mine with lettuce, tomatoes, onions, mayo, oil and vinegar. It was really delicious. I wound up eating a half of a half and saved the rest for later.My bf ordered their Roast Beef n American Cheese Sub. The Roast Beef was cooked perfectly rare and piled on the sandwich with lettuce, tomato, oil and vinegar. He enjoyed it so much he ate the entire thing.I also ordered 2 of their homemade salads. Macaroni and Potato Salad. The macaroni was my favorite. It was rich and creamy.I highly recommend this place, you won’t be disappointed

I like to sit at the tables and seats next to the windows where I can see everything that happens in the corner...the waitresses are very friendly and the service is fast. The coffee is always fresh. I really enjoy the simplicity of the place, without culinary pretensions, Mexican food for Mexicans, simple and delicious in my opinion, without DRAMA (by the way, I'm Colombian).
