“I'm obsessed with this food truck! Fresh, made-to-order dishes at amazing prices. Family-owned, and you can tell they're pouring their hearts into it.
My go-to is the Paneer Kothu Paratha - ridiculously flavorful! The yogurt adds a perfect kick. Worth the 45-minute wait, trust me!
The chef works hard to get every dish just right. Don't let the wait scare you off - this food is the real deal. Support local and give it a try!

“I grew up in NYC so I’m no stranger to halal carts. Since I’ve moved to JC (which I know is only across the river, but the food scene really is different), I have yet to find my go-to halal spot… until now! I paid $10 for a chicken over rice. The chicken was so juicy and they were very generous with the chicken and sauce. So delicious but also so dangerous that I’m so close by“

“The New England Clam Chowder with crab added to it was TO DIE FOR….. Got a container at The Herald Square Market to eat when i got home and I was in Heaven with every bite! Fresh and creamy, awesome taste and the crab meat added just intensified the experience! I’m visiting New York from TN and it was one of my best meals so far! HIGHLY RECOMMEND!“

“Westside Shawarma is back with a vengeance. Never have I seen so much demand for a small food spot. Literal posts on the internet asking about this place. I was excited to see the G.O.A.T return, and more so with a proper shop. I got so excited, I ordered two chicken platters and only managed to finish one. Warmed it up two days later and it tasted just as good as when I got it. Great to have you guys back!“

“We ordered from Tacos Victoria for the first time today and were very impressed. There are plenty of Mexican restaurants around and I am not even that crazy about Mexican food but Tacos Victoria's food was fantastic! Very delicious and flavorful. “I’ve been coming to this small business for about 3/4 years now and although it’s just a taco truck I know enough that all I have to do is pick up my order and eat it at my house or enjoy it with my partner at the nearby park. I’m not gonna make a review about the “environment” of a taco truck and make them feel obligated to my seating needs for that I’ll just to a RESTAURANT it’s a perfect grab and go. The staff is very friendly and hard working people, for as busy as they get their customer service is consistently great. I want to mention how hard it is to find authentic AL PASTOR TACOS that are supposed to be made like how they make it here. The tortilla is always fresh, the meat is seasoned perfectly and you can tell by the color on the meat and the salsa verde is also perfect if you are into spicy fresh homemade salsa just the right texture not watery like others that I’ve had around the area.“
