“Looking for Desi Punjabi food? I believe this is one of the best in town. Recently got a chance to eat from Shadman restaurant Jersey City. As a tourist i eat from several other restaurants too, but without a doubt i had the best experience with this one. I loved the smell of the food at first and the good taste was a cherry on top. Highly recommend to all the Sub continental food lovers.“

You can spend as much or as little as you want in there, as opposed to being forced to commit to a huge bill for one dish, which is rare and appreciated, and you can go for fried goodness OR a veg sandwich... everything's delicious. Same group and menu from Nandoo's in JSQ that still has lines out the door to this day... extremely welcome addition to Hamilton Park.“

If you're vegetarian come here! If you're a meat guy then it's time to take a break and eat at Bengali Sweets! The food is spicy, savory, and everything you need. When I tell you I ate everything, I mean everything--I left the plate shinier than before.“

“This restaurant was really excellent! The cuisine was excellent, especially the chicken biriyani. The staff was really kind and friendly, and the atmosphere was quite laid back with photographs and locations of Hyderabad painted on the wall. Without a doubt, I would return there if I ever returned to NYC or NJ.“

“Tried the Masala Dosa here, and it was honestly amazing! The dosa was crispy and flavorful, and the potato filling tasted just like the authentic ones back in India. Both chutneys, the coconut and the orange garlic chutneys were really good, and the sambar was so tasty that you could enjoy it on its own.

I went in the morning, so it wasn’t crowded, but usually, this place gets pretty busy, and parking can be tricky during lunch or dinner. Overall, great taste and a perfect spot for real South Indian dosa lovers!“

“I ordered masala idly and podi idly. I can't express how good those were and filling. Idlis were soft and sambhar was also good. Last we finished up ordering filter coffee which was also not bad. Everything feels like fresh. During my visit we are the only customer but I can see they are making fresh so obviously taking time to serve food.“
