My go-to is the Paneer Kothu Paratha - ridiculously flavorful! The yogurt adds a perfect kick. Worth the 45-minute wait, trust me!

“A great choice for getting some high quality Indian food in the area, especially if you'd prefer to not deal with the hustle and bustle of Little India in Journal Square.

I highly recommend ordering anything from the tandoor - the tandoori chicken was perfect! And the portions are massive. I did think many of the appetizers and main dishes were quite overpriced, however.

That said, I'd definitely come back and try the rest of the menu!“

“We have gotten take out from here several times and have loved the food. We go here for our Kerala food fix and the flavors are spot on. The food feels homemade and the spices are just right. My personal favorites are the banana leaf fish pollichathu, kerala chicken fry, chicken roast, chicken curry and fish curry with the tapioca. The owners are lovely people too!“

“Ganesh Dosa House is a small place. It may not be fancy but it has very authentic and amazing South Indian food. The flavors are fabulous!! The only thing is that the food is spicy. But that’s also what I love about the place. At times, I can’t handle the spice. But the staff is very helpful and warm. They are courteous and attend the guests properly during peak hours when the place gets full and there is wait for a table. I highly recommend this place for these dosa, filter coffee, thali, pickles, wada, puri bhaji and so much more actually!! Their food is a journey back to Bangalore! Absolutely delectable!! I am a happy returning customer and I know I will continue to be!“

“This cute little "hole in the wall" is truly a hidden gem! While in reality, it's no hole in the wall at all. You actually feel like you're in a small shop in India when dining-in with the colorful decorations, background music and overall setup of the restaurant. Not to mention the food, which was absolutely amazing! Very tasteful chaat and small dishes, each with it's own little twist. I got:

-masala chai
-mango lassi
-Chinese Frankie (get it on a paratha)
-Chili Cheese Corn Grilled Sandwich
-to top it off, get their Chocolate Pan - it was bomb!

EVERYTHING was 10/10. I loved the food so much, I get went again the next day.

“The only restaurant we dine at in India Square! Literally here at least twice per month, and always our first choice when we want to stay in and order online. The food always comes out on time and delicious. We always get the special chicken biryani and chicken tandoori and they always come out flavourful and juicy. We’ve had their naans before too and they were also exceptional. I have noticed recently though that the food sometimes doesn’t come out hot.

My husband and I are introverts and we really appreciate the chill and relaxed service we receive. Not too pushy or hover-y, just comfortable. I also really love the vibe here! I absolutely LOVE that they show Bollywood on their TV! I don’t understand a thing, but it’s such a nice touch it makes the restaurant feel homey and local. A LOT of locals dine here too and the restaurant is never empty, if not full, so I think that speaks a lot about their food.

Overall, we love Southern Spice! Absolutely have been recommending to our friends, and now to all of Google!“

“Little India is my new go-to for Indian food! The flavors are incredible—each dish is packed with authentic spices and tastes amazing. The Chicken Biryani is my favorite; it's perfectly spiced and the chicken is so tender. The naan is always warm and fluffy and delicious.

The service is fast and friendly, and the food is always hot. It’s a little pricier than some places, but the quality is definitely worth it. Highly recommend Little India if you’re looking for amazing Indian food!“

I can honestly say, this is the most authentic Hyderabadi food we’ve ever tasted in America. You can spend as much or as little as you want in there, as opposed to being forced to commit to a huge bill for one dish, which is rare and appreciated, and you can go for fried goodness OR a veg sandwich... everything's delicious.
