❤ Unfamiliar with the local restaurant scene, we stumbled upon this gem while exploring area garden centers about an hour away from our home and the experience went well beyond our, IMO, high standards. You'll never find us pulling into a fast food place. We love Indian cuisine (check) and vegetarian is quite fine with us (check); but if you like Indian food, this is the place to try vegetarian. The food was exquisite to the eye, nose and taste buds. The meat was not missed...read full review
I ordered Jain dishes. Paneer lollipop was too too spicy. We eat spicy and hot food yet it was extremely spicy. Horrible was the presentation of Chinese sizzler. No veggies at all, only a mix of fried rice and 4 pieces of manchurian (half cooked). Server is not courteous. I am not going again to this place, several other good places to eat in the area.
Found a gem. I had rotli and mixed veg shak. Just like home cooked gujrathi food, very delicious. Service is a little slow, looks like they are short staffed. I would recommend this to friends.

Vatan Indian Vegetarian Cuisine & Bakery serves a variety of authentic Indian street food, including Bhelpuri and Golgappas. Their Pani Puri, with 7 rounds of flavorful fillings and waters, is a highlight and a must-try for many. The restaurant offers a range of options, including Sherwani Noodles and Paav Baaji, although some may find the prices steep. The bakery also has pastries, but labeling can be confusing. Recently, customers have noted that while the food quality can vary, the service remains friendly, with staff who are kind and accommodating. Despite some issues, such as the confusing website and the experience of overly thick onions in some dishes, Vatan remains a popular spot for those craving authentic Indian flavors.
