“Apple Jacks is great. The owner John fixed me and hubby up back in 1987. The bar is really fun and they don't only have parties they have parties for the kids to. When my kids were little they had a big party and put a jumping blow up thing in the parking lot for the kids and they also got Ralph the other owner dress up as Santa Clause and have the kids sit on his lap and get presents.“

“I have been going there for 40 years now. Always great delicious food as well as, a whole page of specials. The specials are always different. Their burgers are grilled in the center of the bar. They also have a delicious cheddar cheese that they pour over there hamburgers. The house salad with the house dressing is always a winner. Lettuce, egg, little shrimp, with the house dressing! I always loved the crab Melt aways! you cannot make a reservation, there is always a wait for dinner. get there at 11:30 for lunch, it fills up fast! Lunch specials come with a soup or a salad. “Ate here today for the 1st time, sat at the bar and were served by two very friendly and attentive bartenders. Ordered the skirt steak with rice and fries, it was fantastic! “Bravo Pizza & Sports Bar is my favorite restaurant within Staten island. First of all, the service, atmosphere and food is excellent! Bravo's menu is packed with everything from classic pizza to mouth-watering wings, burgers, salads, heroes and appetizers. My favorite meals are their deliciousgrandma pizza, grilled chicken salad and hot wings. Secondly, Bravo has happy hour, live music and when I just feel like watching the game and chilling their sports bar is the most popular place to be. Finally, Bravo Pizza & Sports Bar is locatedin the heart of Staten island and it is great place to meet and greet. Similarly, as a family owned business I remember the staff at Bravo's willingly distribution food to anyone that was hungry, during the height of the Covid 19 pandemic. “A well stocked liquor store with a cozy bar. I stopped by to pick up some wine for a house party and the owner John was very helpful with assisting me with the wine selections. I decided to have a Guinness at the bar and Coleen the bartender was very pleasant and accommodating. I highly recommend this establishment. Very clean, very friendly staff and customers. “I went her for dinner on a Saturday night with my teen after a lacrosse event at Capelli Sports Complex. We were seated immediately at 6:30. Service was excellent. There were a few generally popular beers on tap - I had the Sam Adam's Winter Lager. We started with mozzarella sticks. Then, we both ordered burgers and fries. Everything was really good. My teen said that he liked his burger better than our regular burger joint at home (!). There were lots of TVs available but it was a not loud or crazy, even on a Saturday night. Great spot!“
“The chicken Alfredo was great and so was the yogurt with strawberries but I ordered a pina calada smoothie and it took about 25 minutes for the smoothie and it was slushie it wasn’t even smooth and I had to ask for another but other than that I definitely recommend coming here??“
“Poole Ave Bar is our spot. We stop by twice a week for some food and drinks, but most of all the laughs from the characters that frequent the bar. And, there are some characters... but it's what makes this spot enjoyable. It's a townie bar where everyone ends up knowing your name. Everyone is super friendly, including the staff. “Dinner before show. Waiter, Tyree, was very helpful, considerate, and very aware that we had to leave early for a show. Party of 8 people, all orders accurately taken and well presented. Sadly, did not have time for dessert but will go back another time. Great atmosphere in restaurant section & had a sports bar section as well. Like I said, will be back when I can.“
“It is a nice place to go with your family. The staff are attentive. Their pizzas are thin crust but they are very good. We had burgers, wings, calamari and fries and they were great. It is definitely a place I go to anytime I am around the area.“

“I had lunch with an old friend. Haven't been there in a while and apparently the menu had changed considerably. The food was good but no filet mignon was offered...my favorite. The steak is always cooked just how we ask.My family often goes to applebees and the service is always wonderful; however today was particularly great as we were served by an amazing waitress, Allison. She was incredibly funny and joyful; she had a nice conversation with every table but still managed to do her job very quickly.
