“My usual is a 10 piece dark meat (legs & thighs). I think this is the best fried chicken in town. Better than Popeyes and the other big chains. Prices have certainly gone up the last 3 years but that's because of inflation and supply chain disruptions.“

“I’m visiting NJ (lived here for a long time) and wanted to eat some of my favorite foods. I ordered dinner from port of peri peri and it was perfectly cooked but missing my fries. I let that be known to the restaurant and received a small refund. Next night, I ordered dinner again and I received a large order of fries on the house as well as a discount card for 5% for dine in orders valid for one more week. Amazing customer service. If I were in NJ longer, I would surely order again! The food is absolutely delicious 😋“

“So I’ve always heard about Dave’s but never been till today, first off the service I received was beyond exceptional Dylan M took my order not only did he service with a smile he took time to figure out what I like and suggested what I should get and he was right it did not disappoint I also received my order from Angel H who also provided me and my friend service with a smile he told us how to mix are sauce for the best flavor. “So I was looking forward to try real korean fried chicken in a while , my previous experiences weren’t great ( and then I came across this little hidden gem in the middle of nowhere!
The place itself is nothing fine dining or fancy , simple , clean and to the point but the fried chicken was yum ! The owner was very nice and we ordered dubboki and a whole fried chicken with a choice of sauces , I definitely would recommend it and come back !
One tiny thing , please next time serve the starter before the chicken because dubboki was a tiny bit colder than I hoped“

“Been coming here for a while now and the food has been amazing. The fried chicken is one of the best I’ve had in all of the east coast. They also just got BBQ Ribs and Oxtails. And they are heavenly, and full of flavors. Feels like im in a Jamaican/fried chicken cuisine. Best of both worlds.“

“My husband and I stopped in on our way to an event in the area based on reviews. It's a very small place with no indoor seating. However the service was friendly and quick and the chicken bao was very good. If we are ever back in the area, I would try more items from their menu.“

Just to be perfectly honest, this place is located in a rather tough area, so keep that in mind when going here. Also there's no seating, it's strictly take out, the prices are very fair, and it offers a decent amount of other products similar to a small bodega.
