“I saw a lot of negative comments about this place. I felt like it was every take out restaurant. They all got impacted by Covid. However this is still the quick best Chinese restaurant on my list when ordering takeout food.“

“This is the only place I feel safe ordering in from as someone with food allergies. I have a dairy and gluten allergy and they are so accommodating with the dishes. You get big portions for a good price and the food is always so fresh. I also have a super stomach with some problems so I always feel icky eating out and since the food is cooked in high quality oil I never feel icky after eating here which is SO rare for me. The owner is incredibly kind and told me how she also has food allergies and is happy to make modifications and help. It’s so rare that restaurants welcome modifications and she always does so for me. I’ve never gotten sick here and it’s the one restaurant I feel comfortable ordering in from and look forward to doing so every week. The entire staff is helpful and are always kind and respectful even when the phone is ringing like crazy and there’s a line for pick up. They never rush you and always make you feel welcome. A local gem- thank you to the incredibly owner for giving us allergy people a safe place with delicious food and for accommodating me with a smile. I appreciate you so much. “This place has been my go-to Chinese spot to get food from the foods pretty good the service there is great the ladies that take your order are very sweet very genuine and they always make you laugh. Me and my family have been ordering here for I don't know how long but it's our go-to spot, the food portions are good and the prices for most things are fair.“

“It used to be 5 stars all around. The reason to go is the Lobster fried rice and that was tasteless. Carrots and peas no longer fresh- looked frozen or canned! Rice was bland. Nothing Chinese about it. Service was excellent and rest of food, grand marnier prawns excellent.“

“I ordered from this Chinese restaurant for the very first time to celebrate the grand opening of my nail salon, and I couldn’t be happier with the experience! We got Yang Chow Fried Rice, General Tso’s Chicken, Shrimp with Garlic Sauce, Chow Fun, and the Orange Chicken Combo.

Every dish was fresh, flavorful, and well-prepared. The Yang Chow Fried Rice was light and tasty, the General Tso’s Chicken had the perfect balance of sweet and spicy with a crispy bite, and the Shrimp with Garlic Sauce was packed with flavor and came with fresh, juicy shrimp. The Chow Fun had a great texture and was very satisfying. But the star of the night was the Orange Chicken Combo—crispy, sweet, and absolutely delicious. All of our guests loved it, and several even asked where we ordered from!

On top of the great food, the staff was friendly and the service was excellent, which made the whole process smooth and stress-free. This restaurant truly exceeded my expectations, and I will definitely be ordering again. Highly recommend!“

“The only negative I have (and it’s a big one and has happened 4-5 times now), I order no onion in my pepper steak and they add a $2 extra meat fee. I didn’t ask for extra meat to compensate for lack of veggies , and I don’t like it added without it being acknowledged or even approved/denied.. really not okay with that decision being made without my knowledge of it and will say something next time..

However when it comes to the food? Do it. Our usual orders are a some kind of mix of chicken&broccoli, pepper steak, boneless ribs, sesame chicken, fried wontons… everything has been great every time. One of the “better “ meats when it comes to both the chicken and the beef.. delivery is uncomfortably fast at times lol. Prices are average to anywhere else around here but the portions are great. Would definitely reccomend.“

“Best lo mein in the area. I get mine with roast pork. This was my secondary place after House of Chong, also in Middletown, which has unfortunately been lacking lately. Tai Hing just moved up to number one. They are cleverly closed on Tuesdays instead of Mondays, since so many restaurants are closed then. The prices are also really fair and a good value. Either is the one across the street, which we ordered the day before and we’re extremely disappointed to the point that we wanted Chinese again the following night and we chose Golden Jade. Flat-out great food here and I knew it because it’s family run and everyone was friendly. You can tell they take pride in their cooking. We had fried dumplings which would great - they give you 8 and my only critique is they need more filling but the taste is great. The house lomein and house fried rice were outstanding. Fresh and not over sauced. The chicken and broccoli and the general tso chicken were what you expect in the taste department and we’re done very well. Their egg rolls were tasty. The highlight though was the boneless spareribs. So many places get this wrong - these were the best I’ve had in the area even topping my usual place. They had the right amount of glaze, weren’t tough and were made completely using rib meat. Sweet, salty, and easy to chew. This place didn’t disappoint and if it’s a battle between Golden Jade or the one across the street in the junction, Golden Jade is easily the winner.“

“This is a Northern Chinese style BBQ. I came here with my family for lunch.
The server recommended a lunch combo menu. This comes with 5 decent sized skewers, rice or french fries and a choice of a drink. We all got a variety of skewers and shared them. We also selected BBQ oysters which were delicious 🤤!

There is a bathroom on the premises.
No free parking. Street parking only. Paid during the week.

“This is a typical Chinese takeout place with all the familiar dishes and lunch menu items at a typically fair price. Staff is friendly. I wish there wasn't a 10 dollar minimum for credit cards (who carries cash?) but that's not their fault. Food is exactly what you'd expect if you've ever had "hole in the wall" takeout before.“

“This is not a typical fast-food Chinese restaurant that uses the same vendors for all its supplies. Panda House actually uses fresh ingredients and prepares almost everything in-house. Fresh delicious crab rangoon, melt in mouth tender mango chicken, savory flavorful mushrooms, bigger, more tender sweet/sour chicken. What a pleasant and delightful change of pace from ordinary fast food style Chinese food! Highest recommendation!! 😋😋😋😋😋“

“I haven't actually been inside the restaurant but I have ordered takeout. The food always arrives quickly and the delivery persons are always friendly, courteous and polite. It's very rare that I've ordered anything that I don't have to add anything to salt or pepper soy sauce duck sauce that type of things, but I haven't had to add anything to enhance the flavor of their food everything I've ordered from there has been just perfectly delicious!!! The one dish that I've absolutely fell in love with is there shrimp noodle soup! It's packed with noodles and they're not stingy with the shrimp! And the gravy that comes with their Egg Foo Young is exquisite. I've decided that every time I order (and mind you I really don't like to experiment when it comes to food) but I'm going to try at least one thing that I have never tried before. So far I've had the house special fried rice, the house special lo mein, the house special egg foo young, the chicken noodle soup, the egg drop wonton mix soup and again I'm going to mention the shrimp noodle soup. The rice is perfectly done that comes with the egg foo young. Anyway I just want it to get my opinion on what I think is great takeout. One day soon I'm going to actually go and dine in.
