“This is the only place I feel safe ordering in from as someone with food allergies. I have a dairy and gluten allergy and they are so accommodating with the dishes. You get big portions for a good price and the food is always so fresh. I also have a super stomach with some problems so I always feel icky eating out and since the food is cooked in high quality oil I never feel icky after eating here which is SO rare for me. The owner is incredibly kind and told me how she also has food allergies and is happy to make modifications and help. It’s so rare that restaurants welcome modifications and she always does so for me. I’ve never gotten sick here and it’s the one restaurant I feel comfortable ordering in from and look forward to doing so every week. The entire staff is helpful and are always kind and respectful even when the phone is ringing like crazy and there’s a line for pick up. They never rush you and always make you feel welcome. A local gem- thank you to the incredibly owner for giving us allergy people a safe place with delicious food and for accommodating me with a smile. I appreciate you so much. I stopped here to get lunch after I saw the movie Migration.?? ?? I liked the prices that they have on their menu and their appetizers. I asked for a chicken lo mein lunch combo with an eggroll. Came out to $12. A good price for lunch,but I should have asked for some more sauce packets. I would deliver here but they're so far away from my house ?. This spot is kind of fancy and if I were you, I'd rather try it out.?????“

“We have been eating at this amazing restaurant for a few years now! Food is excellent...Wonton soup is not salty like other restaurants..Food is always fresh and not greasy..They keep the restaurant very clean..The owners are very friendly.

“The only negative I have (and it’s a big one and has happened 4-5 times now), I order no onion in my pepper steak and they add a $2 extra meat fee. I didn’t ask for extra meat to compensate for lack of veggies , and I don’t like it added without it being acknowledged or even approved/denied.. really not okay with that decision being made without my knowledge of it and will say something next time..

However when it comes to the food? Do it. Our usual orders are a some kind of mix of chicken&broccoli, pepper steak, boneless ribs, sesame chicken, fried wontons… everything has been great every time. One of the “better “ meats when it comes to both the chicken and the beef.. delivery is uncomfortably fast at times lol. Prices are average to anywhere else around here but the portions are great. Would definitely reccomend.“

“Best lo mein in the area. I get mine with roast pork. This was my secondary place after House of Chong, also in Middletown, which has unfortunately been lacking lately. Tai Hing just moved up to number one. They are cleverly closed on Tuesdays instead of Mondays, since so many restaurants are closed then. The prices are also really fair and a good value. I’ll get a picture next time, I scarfed it all down too quickly LOL.“

“Incredible food at incredible prices. I came with some friends and we all got different skewers to go and loved them all! Some faves were the chicken/lamb/beef skewers, the cauliflower skewers, and the mackerel skewer (this one is a full bone in fish, but is great!). The vibe inside is super cool and the staff is friendly! For $2 per item (that are all delicious!) I'll certainly be back.“

“The food is good but when I walked in and saw those poor fish in a tank that is too small for them it really upset me. You need to get a bigger tank and a canister filter like the Fluval 407. It will keep the fish smell down and a bigger tank would be beneficial to the fish. It just broke my heart. If you can't take care of them find them a good home.“

“I haven't actually been inside the restaurant but I have ordered takeout. The food always arrives quickly and the delivery persons are always friendly, courteous and polite. It's very rare that I've ordered anything that I don't have to add anything to salt or pepper soy sauce duck sauce that type of things, but I haven't had to add anything to enhance the flavor of their food everything I've ordered from there has been just perfectly delicious!!! The one dish that I've absolutely fell in love with is there shrimp noodle soup! It's packed with noodles and they're not stingy with the shrimp! And the gravy that comes with their Egg Foo Young is exquisite. I've decided that every time I order (and mind you I really don't like to experiment when it comes to food) but I'm going to try at least one thing that I have never tried before. So far I've had the house special fried rice, the house special lo mein, the house special egg foo young, the chicken noodle soup, the egg drop wonton mix soup and again I'm going to mention the shrimp noodle soup. The rice is perfectly done that comes with the egg foo young. Anyway I just want it to get my opinion on what I think is great takeout. One day soon I'm going to actually go and dine in. I'm quite sure it will be a pleasant experience.“

“This chinese food is the best ive had in a very long time!!! The boneless spare ribs are meaty!!! Not little tiny slivers of chipped meat. The rice was beautiful done, flavorful and it comes with egg! The general tsao chicken was beautifully crispy, not soggy even after taking it to go!! The wonton soup broth was flavorful unlike most places that taste like chicken water. The wontons themselves were also flavorful. I will be a new regular after avoiding Chinese food for years“

“The food here is great. Ordered a couple chicken burgers from here and I have to say, some of the best chicken I’ve had. I love the unique use of veg in the burger and even as leftovers it tasted great. I have to say, this is in my top eats from nyc. Phenomenal.“

Either is the one across the street, which we ordered the day before and we’re extremely disappointed to the point that we wanted Chinese again the following night and we chose Golden Jade. Flat-out great food here and I knew it because it’s family run and everyone was friendly. You can tell they take pride in their cooking. We had fried dumplings which would great - they give you 8 and my only critique is they need more filling but the taste is great. The house lomein and house fried rice were outstanding. Fresh and not over sauced. The chicken and broccoli and the general tso chicken were what you expect in the taste department and we’re done very well. Their egg rolls were tasty. The highlight though was the boneless spareribs. So many places get this wrong - these were the best I’ve had in the area even topping my usual place. They had the right amount of glaze, weren’t tough and were made completely using rib meat. Sweet, salty, and easy to chew. This place didn’t disappoint and if it’s a battle between Golden Jade or the one across the street in the junction, Golden Jade is easily the winner.“

“Big props to Ming Hui Chinese Take Out. It's the best Chinese food restaurant in Perth Amboy. I had a Chinese themed party this past Sunday at a rental hall . They DELIVERED!!! - on ALL LEVELS. Not sure if they've ever done an order this large at one time, but they did an excellent job. They prepared enough food to feed 150+ . I asked to have it delivered at 2:30, they were there at 2pm. Everything I asked them to prepare was on POINT, ON TIME, AN DELICIOUS. I ordered broccoli in brown sauce - made perfectly, pepper steak, boneless spare ribs, chicken lomein, general tso chicken, vegetable-white-pork fried rice. It was so fresh and flavorful. Initially I only planned to eat like 2 and a little of my main dish, but I ate 5 of them and then half of my food. Although I was so full, I felt like I had to keep going because it was the best. I love Chinese food but I don't have many spots in Florida that I love, so visiting here and getting this dish was phenomenal.“
