“This is a great little spot in the heart of a great little town. The owner is a delightful woman who greets both old customers and new ones with the same welcoming smile and "can I help you?" The cafe/deli is open for breakfast, lunch and take-out. I have been there twice --- both times for breakfast that included a delicious egg sandwich and fresh coffee (see photo). You order at the counter and the food is brought to your table. Coffee is self service. The Cafe has a fresh, clean and bright interior (photo). I will be back.“

“My husband and I chose Blawenburg Bistro as our caterer for our wedding in July 2026, and we couldn’t have made a better choice!

We worked with Jenn throughout the entire process, and she was nothing short of amazing. She made everything feel so smooth and stress-free, and her attention to detail was incredible. She was also incredibly accommodating to our guests with food allergies, making sure everyone had delicious options and felt included and cared for.

And the food… INCREDIBLE! Every dish was fresh, beautifully presented, and absolutely delicious. Our guests truly felt spoiled, and we received so many compliments about the food. Everyone left happy, satisfied, and with very full stomachs!

“Amazing, high quality matcha made fresh on site every day. I was so impressed by this place. It’s a no-frills cafe, but great to sit and relax or grab your drink to-go. I got the iced strawberry matcha, you can tell it’s fresh-made strawberry purée and the matcha tasted amazing. Highly recommend!“

These pies are world-class and the chef clearly is creating masterpieces with the blends of flavors that are achieved. The chicken tenders and hand cut fries were also very tasty. Next time I’d pass on the hamburger and grilled chicken. Maybe the Kaiser roll is too much bread for the amount of meat but the taste just wasn’t just there.“

I decided after staring the menu for a while on the hummas and pita. The hummas was really good and the pitas were nice and warm. I was pleasantly surprised by how good it was.“

In addition to our waiter multiple staff members checked in on us to see if we needed anything. I had the lobster shrimp and grits. It was delicious. I will definitely be going back.“

“What a truly wonderful experience it was coming here. This nice young lady that works there was very polite. There was a bit of traffic building up in there behind me, but she was very patient with me as I surely took quite a while to order a few things for my family members. Everything was clean, and freshly organized. She even made sure to reassure me that the utensils were all cleaned properly because I tend to get a bit skeptical due to the possibility of cross contamination. The ice cream quality was great! Much better than most other places in this area. I never asked for that young lady’s name but she wore a lot of bracelets, and had black nails just like my daughter, which I complemented! The menu is surprisingly diverse, which makes it easy for everyone in a group to find something they’ll enjoy. We tried a mix of dishes—from the beet and orange salad to Korean fried chicken, quinoa bowls, and even pastas with Korean-inspired flavors—and everything was solid.

What really stood out was the balance of flavors. Nothing was overly saucy or overpowering, yet each dish had a distinct and satisfying taste. You can clearly pick up the Korean seasoning, but it’s subtle and well integrated rather than overwhelming. Even the traditional Korean tofu soup had authentic flavor without being overly spicy or heavy.

The atmosphere adds to the experience as well. The two-floor setup—with the main dining upstairs and outdoor seating available—feels cozy but still spacious. Parking is also convenient with street options and a small lot in the back.
