“We went to McKenna’s Pub to get drinks and play pool for my daughter’s birthday today. It was really a great experience and I’m so glad we found it!! The bartender Billy was so welcoming and went above and beyond for us. The other guests were also very friendly and the atmosphere was wonderful. Even though I lost at pool, McKenna’s Pub will definitely be a go to for us in the future!!“

“Simply put, Charley's is the best outdoor hangout spot on/around Lake Hopatcong! Rented the Game Room Bar for a social with family and friends, and I honestly can't recommend it enough! The food was hot and delicious, awesome drinks, fantastic live music, yard games, and first-class people! The team of Amanda Lear, Amanda ODonnell Braico and Andrea were outstanding! Provided excellent professional, friendly service to make sure all of my guests were comfortable the entire evening. Lots of menu options to choose from on the catering menu (the wings are a must!) as well as flexible bar pricing packages to fit any occasion. It's truly a welcoming place that is always on my short list of options for a quick cold one, lunch or heck the whole evening! I'm already looking forward to the next Game Room social! “I was looking for a place to hold a small(er) afternoon party for about 60 friends & family members, and McQ’s came highly recommended for great food, wonderful atmosphere, and top notch service. They did not disappoint. The general manager, Alexis was a pleasure to work with, and was helpful with menu choices, and whatever additional asks I had. (A table area for a display, AV hook-up for a slide presentation, and complimentary drink “coupons” for my guests. The entire staff (including the kitchen) was friendly, and determined to make this a fun (and delicious) event. HIGHLY RECOMMEND. I give them 5 stars 🌟 out of 5.“

While we will always miss Chuck, we hope the new owner preserves the incredible ambiance and vibe that keeps the regulars coming back! There's simply no other place like it. A huge part of why we return is Mauricio the Chef, who makes the best pasta fagioli, and the wonderful servers like Joannie. We go for that unique feeling as much as for the fantastic food. Table 42 reminded me of Cheers, I truly hope it doesn’t lose its uniqueness.“
