“It doesn't accept reservations, serves vegetarian dishes, and has kids' menu. So, I'm so very happy about it because they have all of the healthier choices at my dream man's restaurant to help my lower cholesterol levels. However, I would love to eat there one day so I can meet my dream man himself, Bon Jovi.“
“Highly recommend!! Friendly staff. Owner took the time to welcome first time diners with friendly conversation. From the bread, the perfectly prepared filet our entire meal was delicious! Too full for dessert but will try soon! Looking forward to our next meal!!“
“If I had to describe the food I just had at Manera's, it could be done in two words: absolutely outstanding. I've been eyeing up Manera's since they first opened, and replaced the now-gone Famous Dave's BBQ. Having heard nothing but good things about it, and seeing that they had a steak au poivre burger - I knew I needed to give it a shot. Fast forward to today, and a quick lunch trip later, I'm officially hooked. I arrived at 12:00 on a Sunday, with the place absolutely chock full of patrons (they had two parties that had booked the place). Despite this, service was absolutely stellar, our waitress was incredibly attentive and helpful, and the food came out stunningly quickly for being so crowded. My burger came out exactly as I ordered it (medium rare), and I've gotta say, it might be one of the best burgers I've eaten in my life. On par with Pat Lafrieda burgers in terms of meat quality, and the sauce, brie, and char all lived in perfect harmony. I'll be thinking of that burger for weeks to come. Even the fries were perfectly cooked! Decor is a little sparse, which would be the only 'downside' I can think of. Personally, I dine out for food, not ambiance, so this isn't a huge deal to me. All in all, if lunch being THIS good was any indication, I'll certainly be back for dinners in the future. An absolute gem in a town that's full of entirely too many chain food restaurants, and one that I highly suggest folks give a try to. Absolutely top notch!“
“The food is exceptional and consistent! It’s nice to have local business like this thrive. The owners are awesome people that collaborate with other businesses in the area; bringing everyone up with them, that’s the way small business should be. Try a lettuce wrapper classic burger with old bay fries; you won’t be dissapointed.“
“Amazing food with a hearty selection and very friendly service. It has a cozy inside with a hometown diner feel. It is not a large space and I wouldn’t go with a party larger than 6 if you want to sit together. I only wish I had gone here sooner after moving to the area. Highly recommend to anyone!Vegetarian options: Plenary of options to ask for dishes to have no meat included in themParking: Plenary of open spots on both sides of the restaurant“
“Great Sports Bar. Great Staff and management went there today. Asked if they were showing the Rugby World Cup . Management couldn’t do enough for me. Got the game on Ireland playing Scotland. And a good pint of Guinness. What more could you ask for with the Irish winning highly recommend this place“
“Thankfully we got a table as walk ins, but the place was pretty busy. It’s a very beach vibe and the menu reflects all of the summer favorites. We got the Korean wings and avocado fries for starters. The wings were good, but I would pass on the avocado fries. I decided to take a chance and go for the tuna bowl. To my surprise, the tuna was delicious. The rice was cooked perfectly and it filled me up. My boyfriend got the double burger and he could barely finish it. His only commentary was that the waffle fries were trash.“
“Came here for breakfast one day from the outside i didn't know they served breakfast. I thought it was just hot dogs. But was i wrong they serve breakfast lunch and dinner And the whole menu is available anytime which is great for me bc sometimes i like something more then eggs in the morning. But this time i kept it traditional. I had 2 eggs fried with bacon and crispy fries with some toast. All that for $5 u cant beat that with a stick. Parents had the same thing we also added a side of sausage and some porkskin (Cheecharone idk how to spell it lol) on the side. Both sides were delicious as well. Hidden gem in the Beachwood area. Ill be coming back for lunch and dinner. The service was great. Very nice and friendly. The inside was immaculate clean and very bright and vibrant. The inside is very spacious with alot of seating. The food was fresh and tasty.“
“Had the pleasure of having brunch here for Easter. Great set up. Lots of great dishes with Prime Rib and ham ( both cooked perfectly ) on the carving station. Salmon and mussels were fantastic. Pastas were great. Server ( Masha )was so sweet and efficient. Can’t wait until next year!“
“I've lived in Point Pleasant my whole life and nowhere else has ever been as good to me as Klotz's. Every single meal here-- breakfast or lunch, has been so good. Nowhere else has the local lunch counter feel like Klotz's does. And in case you've heard about their famous Myth, yes, it is THAT good. I also adore the patty melt. It's cash only and that's fine by me for how wonderful eating there is!“
“Eight of us went for dinner 2 weeks ago. The service was great. Our waitress was very pleasant and attentive. The food was fantastic! We were all very impressed with Saltimbocca and plan to return for another terrific evening!!! I very highly recommend it.“
“First time here pleasantly surprised by the choice of natural, vegan, and vegetarian foods, as well as options for meat eaters, especially in this area. Some Items were low fat, fat free and tasted delicious. Most restaurants (even grocery stores) in this area do not cater to healthy conscious people. You could also get sweet potato fries, chip and homemade guacamole. they even had a delicious kids menu.“
“Friendly staff, locals eat there often. Recently, cucumbers changed - bitter, fries are smaller and not fresh tasting, Cole slaw tastes different, and cream cheese switched from Philadelphia to a "spread." The entrees are delicious! Try the stew, Salmon, and more.“
“It may be small, yes it is. With only 7 or 8 table clothed tables and a robust menu, it is a local gem. A small intimate setting that is very inviting. You better make a reservation because seating can be in demand. We had the appetizer Lobster Mac N Cheese, lamb chops, crab cakes, scallops, shrimp over pasta. Everything except the shrimp over pasta were great. My wife felt the shrimp over pasta was bland. For folks that like spicy foods I would request that they request the owner to jazz it up with some spices. It's a tough call, we like spicy food. Though some folks would love the lack of spice heat. We certainly will become regular patrons. It is nice to be able to have a conversation in a restaurant without getting blasted out by a loud croud.“
“Overall a very good experience celebrating my birthday & a friend's. Our waiter Dylon, did an excellent job making food recommendations & checkin up on us. The food seemed a bit pricey (I know everything has gone up in price) but was delicious. One thing I would mention is when the folks come around to the table to clear places, glasses, etc. maybe coach them to wait a bit and remove mostly all the dishes at the time time. Outside of that this place is a hit! Keep up the great work!“
“Updated January 31, 2023 still a solid restaurant for lunch. Over the last year we have eaten here easily over 20x for lunch and never a bad meal. Soups still very good, subs awesome and my new favorite is their streak sandwich- look out! It's very good.Feb 17 2022. Go to local lunch spot of late. Good soups and their salami, ham and provolone sandwich is very good.Good grilled panini with vegetables, mozzarella and pesto.“
“Went there for repast after a viewing at Clayton & McGirr Funeral Home up Adelphia Road. About 30 people attended. Buffet ìncluded mixed salad with dressing on the side, pasta salad, hot crisp rolls and butter, seasoned mixed hot vegetables, roasted potatoes, penne with vodka sauce, chicken francaise, sliced roast pork, dessert, and coffee. Other banquet selections are offered on their website.Used plates were cleared promptly and pitchers of water at the tables were refilled as needed. The meal was held in a private room. There is also the restaurant which has musical entertainment and a banquet hall. Plenty of parking.“
“The atmosphere in this cafe is eclectic and comforting, like going back to my childhood and visiting relatives! I was there with a group of friends, and everyone loved their sandwiches. I can say that my BLT was the best I've had in years...if not decades. It's a great place to relax over coffee after the meal, before browsing the the lovely surroundings and the crafty store (The Barn). I'm definitely going back.“
“Nice size restaurant with a huge bar. Service was good and food was tasty. My only disappointment was warm fries. Hot fries are a must for me and most of the restaurants I've been to are the same. Guess I should get used to it or order a different side. I had a roast beef panninic with carmalized onions,, mushrooms, cheese and horseradish. Delicious! My daughter had a fried chicken taco bowl salad which she enjoyed but couldn't finish it. Good size salad. My son in law had the cheesesteak sub and he couldn't finish it either. Lol. Definitely recommend this restaurant!“
“Employees very polite and helpful...not as crowded as usual...prices are up about 2 to 3 dollars more..always get chicken parm it just didnt have it great taste..usually its mouth wateringParking: Plenty of parkingKid-friendliness: ...yes kid friendly..“
“Honestly I have not been to this restaurant yet but so far it sounds like a place I would definitely go to. Eat and listen to the music. That's awesome. I like the comments on there bartender Heather. I would like to meet her as well she sounds like me. I am also a very good bartender very nice, very attentive, very clean and fun. I may have to stop in and apply.“
“I was attending a wedding in Lakewood, NJ. There are surprisingly very few hotels nearby there that aren't on the shore. I had in the past stayed at a Ramada in Toms River, but I learned that it had been sold and turned into an office building. For some reason, Lakewood has very few hotels. I had stayed at one of the only other nearby hotels, a Hilton, but it is overpriced. I saw the Days Hotel, and it got good reviews. The bride's grandmother told me a friend had stayed there and had given a good report, so I booked a reservation. The Days Hotel Toms River was a pleasant surprise. It was the cleanest hotel I've ever stayed in! No dirt, no signs of bugs. no stains in the bathtub! No cracked tiles or mismatched wallpaper. And I asked for maid service after the first night, and they gave it to me, complete with all fresh towels, bedding, and amenities, made the bed, vacuumed, and cleaned the coffee area, even not waiting until late in the afternoon, as some hotels do. And it looked like the hotel had just been redecorated. Not 1950s dreary with holes in the carpet and broken tiles in the bathroom. Very tasteful with light, simple colors: just the way I like it. The hotel was very quiet, no rowdy guests, and it was set back from the highway, so no road noise, as well. And a big parking lot in front (free) with no driving around and around for a space, even after I returned from the wedding late at night. And it is conveniently located to the main streets leading to Lakewood, which was important to me. Staff was nice, and there were two computers in the lobby with Internet + a printer for guests to use. It's a four-story hotel, and I had a room on the top floor, which I had requested. I had noticed before I left that the room rate (AAA - two double beds) since I made the reservation had gone down. I pointed that out when I checked in, and the agent behind the desk matched that rate. And there was always someone behind the desk, regardless of time of day. And they answered the phone!! There was a restaurant in the hotel that I didn't use, but they were very nice and gave me plastic silverware and disposable dishes so I could eat in my room the special-diet food I had brought. The room also had a large mini-fridge (that functioned well!) So overall I would say it was much better even than staying at the old Ramada. And better than the Hilton. at a much lower price. And 1, 000 times better than an old Best Western I stayed in once, which apparently is also kaput. Only complaint was that one of only two elevators was out of order, and it wasn't fixed the whole time I was there (3 days, 2 nights). But there usually wasn’t a wait for the other elevator.“
“I've been here many times, so I'm surprised I have never written a review. Last night, I had the ahi tuna tacos because I wasn't that hungry and they do not come with any sides. My friend had the filet mignon with cheese on an English muffin which was kind of a weird combination but she said it was okay. I forget the exact titles of what my other friends ate, but there are pictures here showing their food.“
“For the American audience, Costa Rican food is very easy to eat and you will love it, is not heavy in condiments and is delicious. In my experience, Peruvian food is a bit too heavy for me but Costa Rican food is not an issue. Service is very friendly The ambient, so that will depend on what time you go and what days Full bar with about a dozen TVs you can sit at the bar or table, and karaoke on Thursday and Sunday Friday and Saturday DJ and the dance floor open up So you can come have dinner and enjoy dancing“
