The only thing is that it’s a tiny shop and gets packed quickly so just be aware you might be waiting a bit, especially if you go on the weekend - and parking can be a bit tricky.“

“We had Castaways cater my daughter’s engagement party. The food was delicious and there was plenty of it. Chicken franchise, broccoli and cavatelli, roasted potatoes, mozzarella and tomato and shrimp cocktail that was amazing!!!! I’m definitely going to use them again!“

“When you get iced coffee they offer regular ice or a coffee ball. It’s a ball of frozen coffee so it doesn’t water down your drink as it melts. It was good. I also had a pumpkin muffin. It would be nice if there was a mocha on the menu though.“

“Great venue with seating outside right on the water - it can get chilly if windy, bring a sweater for the evening.

True Italian American restaurant. Large portions to share. Lots of garlic in most dishes. Not the most flavorful.

Good to try: swordfish - tasty, ratatouille less so; calamary not crispy but with a delicious sweet and spicy sauce.
The angry lobster is not as angry, the penne alla vodka are more of a creamy red sauce.

“I’ve been coming to JT’s bagels since they opened and it’s literally the only place where I’ll get a bagel from! Consistency is key. I moved away 5 years ago and I’m officially back in Jersey for good and they’re still as perfect as I remember them! I would literally crave them. My 3 year old was born in Hawaii, a little local boy. He had his first ever, Jersey bagel from JTs and LOVED it! Needless to say, this is the best place to get your bagels from!“

“Excellent service, fantastic omelettes and pork roll sandwiches. It was a 11th hour choice for Father' Day. Good prices, better than my initial choices. Special shout-out to the young 6/2026 wait staff, they delivered excellent customer service (Perks was a favorite of my late wife, and my late-father-in-law who headed over here after church in Bay Head. This was my first time back in several months.) We will be back, and soon.“
