“Very well run hostess seating. Three people taking people in. I liked that as there was no wait. Place looks cool with old wood beams. My wife had the fillet mignon special cooked med rare and I had the Teriyaki Ribeye cooked medium. It was a 90 min drive for us on a beautiful sunny day which is something we wanted to do. The place is old school in that it reminds me of restaurants in the 1970s and 1980s in a good way and with a basic salad bar. The food menu is updated of course and it’s good. We really liked it. It’s not what I would call elegant or unique food or modern farm to table style. It is just really nice food, nice family atmosphere and a positive experience. The service we had was great. Friendly and quick. Drinks were good. Apply crumb pie was great. Prices are not cheap but they seemed very similar to most other places these days. We saw a bear through the window too. Cool. We will go back.“
