Good size portions, a quart is really a quart vs other places where a quart container when measured is less or the menu has not been updated. And they fill it to the brim.

Tried various dishes over time like Chow Fun, Lo mein, chicken Hunan, chicken garlic, chicken szechuan, Mongolian beef, curry chicken, boneless rib. All were very good.“

“Food was great, if you are looking for the american-Chinese style comfort food then this would be the place to go. The foods are at good portions with good pricing. They do not have deliveries (as of now they still do not). I would recommend calling about 25 - 30 of when you want your order to be really as usually the wait is about that time. “I've been going to this place for as long as I can remember. Their service has always been quick and amazing! I love their food so much, and anytime you're in the shoprite Plaza, it's hard to resist stopping by to get some! I had a great experience with my order tonight, when ordering only one of my items had meat in it, both on the phone and in person the employee double checked that it was alright that it had meat in it considering the rest of my order was vegetarian. It was a small gesture, but that extra step was so thoughtful. This place has been there from my childhood and now into my adulthood, I hope I can continue to come here for years to come!!!“

“I love their garlic shrimp with scallops menu item. I always get it for take-out. I have eaten at least 20 of them. There is a problem with their packaging. They put the food into a white plastic container that ALWAYS leaks. The container is not water-proof. They put the white container into a brown bag and put that into a plastic bag. The sauce leaks from the white container through the brown bag and into the plastic bag. When I open the white container, I get sauce from the bottom of the container all over my kitchen counter and have a mess to clean up. I have seen other take-out containers and NONE of them ever leak. This business needs to get a liquid-proof or water-proof container to put the food in so the sauce does not leak out. Wake up please!!!!!!!!!!!

I ordered a take-out today July 31, 2024 and was surprised to see they have a new container that, when held upright, does not leak. One good step in the right direction. I wish they would go one more step and use a truly watertight container. Many restaurants use waterproof containers so an even better type of container does exist.“

“Came in late on a Saturday night so they were only doing take out. But the staff was so kind and didn’t make us feel bad for arriving later in the night. They made our food so quickly and every single thing we had was incredible. The fried rice was our favorite. Great staff and great food! very kind!“

I was totally surprised to find this new restaurant (only a couple of miles from my home) in Flemington! This is definitely a hidden gem. They serve authentic Indian dishes (especially non-vegetarian dishes) and the prices are very reasonable. I have already visited the place several times and ordered their Carryout and was never disappointed. I would urge anyone who has not visited this place to try it -- you will not be disappointed! We need good ethnic restraints in Flemington -- unfortunately, we do not have many choices. I hope Cilantro Garden is here to stay.“
