I went to drive-through at 9:40 PM on a Sunday, and they said that they were out of fries. So you’re telling me you close at 11 o’clock, but you don’t have any fries and you can’t make any?!?! You just didn’t wanna get your frier all messed up. It probably would’ve been more believable if I hadn’t seen the girl celebrating as the guys talking to me, because the back door was open. Thanks for nothing.
Taste waayy better than the one in Hackettstown.

Popeyes Louisiana Kitchen is a good place to eat and take out. The chicken is loved, along with red beans/rice, Cajun fries, and biscuits. One visit included a blackened ranch chicken wrap with no pickle, a 3 piece crispy tender, and the One Piece collab lemonade, called purple lemonade at this location; the Tony Tony Chopper dessert item was not available. The wrap was great and made a fan of blackened chicken, and the custom order was respected. The chicken and biscuit, saved for dinner and reheated at home, were crispy, and the blackened ranch sauce was great. The purple lemonade did not disappoint, a berry lemonade flavor. The drive thru was quick pick up on a later visit, and the order was accurate. The location is very small inside, so dining in is not recommended for anyone, let alone a family. The deep fried pickles really suck: too thin and very, very greasy, absolutely disgusting. The chicken was a bit dry, not the usual juicy, tender chicken. Service was amazing, the store was clean, and the food was exactly as ordered. One cashier tried to charge for 6 sweet heat sauces when only 3 sauces were allowed for a $60 order.
