“So good! I had the JUMBO oak tree sandwich, which was delicious. The portion size was perfect for me plus one with obvious attention to quality. The bread was soft and held together perfect. I honestly can not say enough good things about this place, especially the service. Ron is attentive and kind. And fresh squeezed orange juice is hard to find nowadays and it was amazing! I also had the Cookie Monster milkshake, highly recommend! If you want a great quality breakfast/lunch then you have to try Wolf It.“

Very welcoming and cozy, modern Thai restaurant with the South East Asian flare you'd be looking for if having visited Thailand before. Decor is a mix of modern and traditional which gives a nice feel, ambiance is relaxed.

I was greeted with friendly & warm smiles and seated at the spacious bar area where Yatika helped me decide food/drink choices. I can vouch for the excellent food quality and selection (Northern Thai & Bangkok) having ordered Khanom Jeen Nam Ngiao & Tom Kha soup

“I’m Chinese myself so you know I needed to snag some NYC Chinese food where I could, visiting. The Braised Shredded Beef Noodle Soup was great but let me tell you about the PORK SOUP DUMPLINGS! They were so delicious, the soup was very flavorful and the wrapper wasn’t too thick! The pork was tender inside and paired so well with a classic vinegar soy dumpling sauce. I’d say the price isn’t too bad at all for area as well!“

- French onion soup ($19): 7/10, I LOVE French onion soup, but the broth wasn’t as flavorful or onion-y as I would’ve liked. Was pretty excited about this but disappointed. It was filled to the brim, which is great in theory, but it was lowkey hard to start eating it without it spilling over
- Patty melt ($21): 8/20, pretty solid, but lowkey reminds me of the melt from Waffle House lol
- Fries: 7/10, standard
- Complimentary ice cream w/ whipped cream: 7/10, standard ice cream, but it was nice that it was free 🥹

“My first visit to Salad House in Ridgewood was a great experience. I received a warm welcome from Chris, the manager. He was very courteous and polite. He took the time to explain the menu and answer my questions with great detail and enthusiasm. I ordered the Teriyaki Bowl and was very pleased; as it was very flavorful. The Falafel as well as chicken soup were very tasty! Very clean environment! The Salad House in Ridgewood will definitely be my go to place whenever I am in town!“

The Avocado Tartine is simple but done so well — great sourdough, perfectly ripe avocado, and the crispy shallots and superseed crunch add just the right texture and subtle heat. The Organic Yogurt & Homemade Granola was a standout too: thick, tangy yogurt with cardamom-forward granola, fresh strawberries, and a touch of sweetness from the jam and honey.

It’s a newer place on Main Street I have been meaning to check out and it didn’t disappoint. I made my own salad bowl with salmon that was cooked PERFECTLY truly amazing. Everything was so flavorful I ended up not even using the dressing I picked it simply wasn’t needed in my opinion so now I have some sauce to make something at home with! It ended up being around $35+ but that’s because I got a lot of add on and honestly I don’t regret it at all. It was a treat yourself kinda tab lol. We enjoyed the calamari, hummus, and the mixed grill and decided the lamb chops were the best part. All of it was delicious but I would order just lamb chops next time, the mixed grill is a nice way to try several meats. The hummus and pita were very good as was the calamari and the sauce it was served with was very nice as well.“

One other feedback would be please don't skip massaging the kale for the GOAT bowl. I get the GOAT all the time and 90 % of the time it's perfect but occasionally I get just very raw, unmassaged kale that is very difficult to eat haha. Otherwise you guys are awesome, keep making amazing salads.“

Seating is limited with reservations becoming necessary to guarantee a space, but honestly the space is the perfect set up for good conversation. The wine list was nicely curated—we chose the 2017 Super Tuscan, which was smooth, rich, and paired well across the meal. We began with the antipasto. The quality was immediately apparent... the prosciutto was buttery on the palate and the house pickled veggies added a bright, fresh note. For the mains, the cacio e pepe had the perfect creamy texture (I need the chef to teach me their ways for this!), well-balanced salt to black pepper, and good bite to the pasta. My husband was lucky enough to snag the final duck ragu special of the evening and (wow!) we're so glad to have done so. Perfectly cooked with tender meat and flavors that transported us right back to the osterias on the streets of Italy. We ended with the tiramisu (light and creamy) and a pistachio affogato, which did get a bit outshined. Hospitality was top notch here making this is a “must add” meal experience for your list. “Bareburger was an impromptu lunch spot that was unexpectedly great! We got the standard burger, and it was only $15 for the burger, fries + a drink during lunch (usually $21).

All around solid burger. The fries were perfection - crispy and salty. Ranch was great. Our soda was very flat but that’s okay.

Service was beyond good, top notch. The menu was huge, so many options for different types of meat, buns, toppings, etc. A great find!“
