“Very good place to grab sushi. I usually get the 2 roll lunch special which is tasty, affordable, and filling. They give you 8 pieces per roll, unlike many places that only give you 6. The staff is very friendly and I've always been served quick. I highly recommend this restaurant!“

“I must say this was probably the best sushi I've had. Great 'little' place, two, extremely kind, owners work the restaurant. I had the Tsunami Roll, my daughter had Shrimp Tempura and Pink Lady Rolls, and ABSOLUTELY LOVED IT!! We had one of each Mochi (4), Strawberry, Coconut, Green Tea and Mango...delicious! I would HIGHLY recommend this restaurant, great food, service and relaxing place, very nice ownership with great pride in their business.“

“The food is top notch. From the soup to the sushi. Even the ice cream is delicious. What really bothers me though is the service. There is a 90 minute time limit which I get but when you are rushed to get out by an hour that’s not right. Also when you’re hounding tables waiting to literally take a plate because you have nothing else to do that’s a problem. Finally when you’re coming up to tables and asking them for platters back because you don’t have enough supposedly that’s not good either. Last night I was hounded constantly. Twice I had people tell me to move my sushi to my paper plate because they needed the platter. May I suggest buying more platters. Love the food and yes I know I’ll be back but the service was ridiculous in your face. Don’t come here for date night because they don’t leave you alone“

“One of our favorite sushi spots in NJ!! They use environmentally sustainable packaging and almost always give us something “on the house” usually either some crab Rangoon, or a few extra pieces of different kinds of sushi to try.
They recently took their sweet and sour chicken off the menu which was a bummer since it was sooo good and crispy, but it got my picky eater to branch out and try sushi and he ended up loving it! Hands down the most bang for your buck sushi spot in the area. I would order takeout from here every night if I could! Can’t rave about Epoch enough!“

“My fiancé and I play this alphabet game where we go A-Z and eat at a different restaurant beginning with each letter that we have never eaten at before. Needless to say, this was our “W.” We drove 45 minutes from North Brunswick and it was so worth it, we were truly satisfied. For appetizer we got; scallops butter yaki, chicken katsu, scallion pancakes, clear soup, miso soup, seaweed salad, and mango prawn salad. We ordered 4 specialty sushi rolls; blue crab fantastic, tropical, jersey, and rainbow dragon. For dessert we got bubble tea which was on the house 😊 we will definitely be back to eat here again! The only negative thing I have to say is that the place was very small inside and not many seats available for dine in as most of their business appears to be take out, but the food and service were so good that it cancels that out. Can’t wait to eat here again!“

“Popped in for a late lunch on New Year's Day and was pleasantly surprised at the quality of food! Firstly, don't judge the size of the venue because the menu is seven pages!! So many choices!! I had the most tasty, smooth and crunchy, sushi pizza!! I paired it with a healthy seaweed salad. My hubby enjoyed a tasty Miso Soup and Alaska Roll while listening to Abba's greatest hits in the background! What a fun venue! Cindy, our server was so friendly! A must visit when in the area!! “You’d never think this little spot in a strip mall area is anything, but it’s some of the best sushi I’ve ever had! Also the kimchi they give right when you sit down is amazing. I am a huge sushi fanatic and this is definitely Top 3 I’ve ever had. Service is wonderful.“

“Sushi is good and fresh. My only gripe was that the tempura platter wasn't actually tempura. It was more of a fried sampler. If I had known, I probably wouldn't have ordered it. Service is good and they're pretty quick. They have great lunch specials which I've gotten before.“

“They have an incredible lunch special for three rolls and a soup or salad for under $15 after tax, which is hard to beat when the sushi is as delicious as it is. Very clean on the inside when I came to pick my food up very friendly staff, and they knew which order was which based on the phone number all in all the great experience.“

“We tried this place out after seeing it many times over the past couple of years. Since our other place has since closed not far off, we went here and we weren't really disappointed. The egg rolls, we were told are homemade, do seem homemade and are good. The Chinese menu is small but does cover some of the classics enough to find a dish you like. They focus on Sushi there, but not our interest. We've gone a few times now, it's no home run, but no strikes yet. Might be a good to try, if in the area and in an asian fare mood.“

“I've been coming here on-off for about 3 years, I think? It's a lovely, quiet place. I'm rarely in the mood for sushi but from my occasional hunt, the bulgogi roll lured me here. And the simple atmosphere & excellent service made me come back again, and again. Although I don't have many pictures of my dining or pickups from here, I highly recommend the bulgogi or pink salmon special (seared roll)

“Pass by this place all the time on the way to school so I figured I finally give it a try. Was pleasantly surprised they had an all-you-can-eat menu at a good price, especially if you're looking to eat more than 25$ worth of sashimi... some of the tempura vegetables were kinda bland and the Rangoons were kinda cold. “So on the recommendation of a coworker I tried this place out since it was Friday sushi was a good choice for lunch. I ordered a spider roll (soft shell crab in tempura). For lunch seems like the one person handle it well but could of use more help getting orders. Place is nothing great to look at but was very clean. Now the food it was super fresh it was freshly fried that was still a little warm still when I ate it. Loved it was only 6 pieces if I knew it was small but good I would of ordered two rolls guess next time. Great susbi.“
