You need to replace her or your reputation is gonna go down the drain. Ruined my birthday lunch. I had a feeling she might be awful every day cause this has happened before so we called ahead to warn it was my birthday and they assured we should come. Regret it! Seriously get rid of her!!!!!!“

“Pass by this place all the time on the way to school so I figured I finally give it a try. Was pleasantly surprised they had an all-you-can-eat menu at a good price, especially if you're looking to eat more than 25$ worth of sashimi... some of the tempura vegetables were kinda bland and the Rangoons were kinda cold. Definitely enjoyed the sashimi, and the tea was really good. The service was really prompt and attentive. Would go again.“

“The wait staff was very polite and patient. They gave us ample time to preview the menu. After we placed our orders, the food came to us pretty fast. Food was very good. And the presentation of the dishes were very pretty. I ordered the maki combo it was very good. Sorry, I ate some and I realized I forgot to take a Pic. So part of it was eaten. I would recommend trying out this place. It was a great experience. I want to go back again soon. They also offer take out. But I think sitting at the restaurant, the ambiance is real nice and having the meal there was a great experience.“

“Honestly this is one of the best places I have been recently! I looked on a top rated place and found this one. It lived up to it's name! Sushi was fresh and delicious. “The staff was very friendly and welcoming. They did a nice job on the restoration after the fire, everything is now more modern and doesn't look like the outdated renovation that was done years ago looking like a 90s restaurant.

The sushi was very fresh and I like the big selection to choose from on the menu as well. They have a nice cooked section for those that don't do raw food.

Pricing was super reasonable for good sushi. They even have lunch specials, I'm going to stop by for lunch in the future. My wife had the sashimi, which is always her favorite. Kids had soda, and it was under $2? What? I got coke from another restaurant for $3.50 ridiculous.“

“Went here for the first time with my son and I am so glad we found this gem! When you step inside, you’re walking into a peaceful oasis filled with natural light, plants, and beautiful decor. You can dine in or take out. The sushi was so fresh and delicious! We also ordered fried dumplings and shrimp shumai. They have an awesome grocery section to the side where you can buy many Japanese snacks and ramen, as well as mochi. The service was fantastic and the owner is so kind. An absolute must go-to!!“

“Overall it was pretty good! Yamada is a cute little sushi spot in Rutherford with unique antique decor I would say. I’ve tried couple different things and it was good, I can test the freshness from all the dishes I’ve had. The service was great and the prices were affordable. Will be back again.“

“The food is top notch. From the soup to the sushi. Even the ice cream is delicious. What really bothers me though is the service. There is a 90 minute time limit which I get but when you are rushed to get out by an hour that’s not right. Also when you’re hounding tables waiting to literally take a plate because you have nothing else to do that’s a problem. Finally when you’re coming up to tables and asking them for platters back because you don’t have enough supposedly that’s not good either. Last night I was hounded constantly. Twice I had people tell me to move my sushi to my paper plate because they needed the platter. May I suggest buying more platters. Love the food and yes I know I’ll be back but the service was ridiculous in your face. Don’t come here for date night because they don’t leave you alone“

I only have come in once, every other time I order on Uber eats because I’m lazy tbh. It ALWAYS slays, they do a fantastic job! Best sushi ever! I honestly make up reasons to order this sushi. Good hair day? Ohmysushi. Got out of bed? Ohmysushi. Just a nice day out! Ohmysushi. Fantastic work here, very tasty, fresh and clean. “By far one of the best Korean Japanese restaurants. I’ve been ordering from Sea Shai since 2021/22 & the consistency of the food and customer service is always amazing! The flavor of the food is spectacular. I travel to Sea Shai to pick up my order because it is several neighborhoods away, totally worth the drive. The food is priced fairly for the portion and flavors you are receiving. Highly recommend trying this restaurant out. I cannot get enough of the Bulgogi with white rice platter, A M A Z I N G!

“Hands down the best sushi in the entire Kearny area — nothing else even comes close.
We always ordered their sushi and sashimi deluxe and always blown away by how fresh, clean, and beautifully prepared everything was. The quality is always incredibly consistent — every single time we order from them, the fish is top-notch and the flavors and freshness are perfect. Even the miso soup that came with the sushi is great too.
Their service is also fast, friendly, and reliable.
We always finish our meal feeling satisfied, grateful, and impressed. They only offer take outs which is always readily available by the time we got there.
If I could give them 100 stars, I truly would.

“I've been coming here on-off for about 3 years, I think? It's a lovely, quiet place. I'm rarely in the mood for sushi but from my occasional hunt, the bulgogi roll lured me here. And the simple atmosphere & excellent service made me come back again, and again. Although I don't have many pictures of my dining or pickups from here, I highly recommend the bulgogi or pink salmon special (seared roll)

Our server Ana was amazing beggining to end, we asked some advice on what to order, she made sure to take care of us. Ana is professional, on point, funny and one of the best servers I've had. “As somebody with a severe sesame allergy, eating Asian cuisine has always been a challenge for me. I have always had to be extremely careful, usually avoiding Asian cuisine altogether to avoid the risk of cross-contamination with sesame seeds or oil. However, I work nearby and one day I decided to call QQ Asian to see if it were a possibility to order something that didn't have sesame, and it turns out that they were able to accommodate me more than I thought! They mainly use a different oil (vegetable, I believe) for most of the food, and when I call to place an order, I always remind them of my allergy and they do a great job of making sure my food doesn't come in contact with ANY sesame. I appreciate the staff at QQ Asian for not only making consistently great food, but for also taking into consideration an allergy that had previously made it feel impossible to explore Asian cuisine. (Allergies vary in severity, so if you have allergies, only try if you feel comfortable.)

“Ordered from here for the first time. Got unagi don and the sashimi deluxe. Both came with miso soup. I asked for substitutions in fish and they gave me exactly what I asked for. The sashimi was good for the most part, the salmon was the best part, melted in my mouth and delicious. The other fish were good too. The unagi don was good but a bit too salty, so that was a little disappointing. I haven't tried the miso soup yet.“

Make sure to get the sushi with MIXED RICE it is a game changerrr. Everything is fresh and delish. You do get what you’re paying for. The yakisoba is a honorable mention. We always get the kani salad, avocado fries, and the koshi tacos so good. For sushi we get the “for two” special and order either the Watchung roll, JJ roll, or the Jersey roll all with mixed rice.. honestly been coming here for over 2 years consistently and never had a bad experience..
