“Essentially a takeout reataurant offering Japanaese cuisine, the restaurant provides fresh fish in their sushi amd sashimi entrees. Fish, when freshly caught and obtained from fishermen as they come in with their catch, tastes sweet, as i had experienced once in my life. There is that hint of sweetness in the fish the restaurant serves, that is why this is the only place i order from when i have a hankering for jalanese food. Prices are comparable with other restaurants, though the servings are slightly bigger. Doesnt this make you try them? You'll thank me once you do!“

Might be the best spot in the Hudson yard area, and the locals seem to know it based on the take out order rate. Everything was delicious and efficient. Can’t wait to come back.“

“Pros: Good spot, good food, good sushi selection for being a small space. Cons: Place was very busy when we went (6/13/21) and service was slow. Took 20 minutes to get dessert. Some of our plates and soy dishes were not well cleaned from previous use. Ordered and was charged for two dishes to go, but only one was actually packed. Overall 3 stars due to the cons we experienced, but hoping that was just catching them at a bad time.“

We were alone in the restaurant for early dinner on Friday and ordered an $87 bottle of sake. I expected a little special treatment or something that said thank you. We spent $340for 2 and there is nothing bad, but also nothing cool or special.“

I especially appreciated their service on one occasion when I accidentally placed my order at a different Mikado location.
