Great experience. The food was exquisite, and the sashimi was very fresh. I also highly recommend the Chocolate Sensation dessert: it was creative, delicious and the perfect way to end the meal. Our server Jenna was friendly and attentive. Will be back!
Next Door by Wegman is an unbelievable experience - lovely fish imported from Japan and super talented chefs. And to think it is only one of two such spots that Wegman runs, and now we don’t have to go to Rochester to have this deliciousness
This restaurant is EXCEPTIONAL in every single way. The food is absolutely incredible, our favorite were the Wagyu Tacos (recommended by our server) and the Nigiri was some of the best I’ve ever had. The drinks were incredible. The atmosphere was GORGEOUS. I am so, so, so glad that I went. And our server, Anna, was the kindest, sweetest, most knowledgeable server ever!!!!! 10/10 experience, I will certainly be coming back ASAP.

Based on the reviews, Next Door by Wegmans is a neighborhood gem that provides a superb dining experience. The restaurant offers a special Sunday brunch at the sushi counter with attentive service and fresh sushi. A highlight of the brunch was the special Matcha French Toast. The passion from the kitchen makes the quality truly superb. The food is always craveable, with the chu-toro tartare with truffle dashi & caviar being a must-have. The Chef’s Tasting Menu is exceptional, featuring great sashimi and sushi. Other standout dishes include the uni sashimi, seared scallop with uni, and seared toro. The Japanese cheeseburger and the sweet potato dip prepared tableside are also worth a try. The king salmon roll with yellowfin tuna slices is a great starter, and the 12 oz steak with a side of sweet potatoes is a delicious entree. The service is perfect, with a fabulous host who expertly guides the wine pairings. The atmosphere is sleek, intimate, and lovely. The fish for the sushi is flown in directly from the famous fish market in Japan. This restaurant is a great place for a celebration, offering the Royal treatment with delicious food and wine.
