“We recently hosted a family dinner at Ralph’s Sports Bar. Ralph and his staff went above and beyond to ensure that everything went smoothly and that we were happy. My family thoroughly enjoyed the food and the atmosphere. My aunt said the chicken francese was the best that she has had and the wings and burgers were outrageous. We are looking forward to our next event at Ralph’s!“

“I met a couple of my old coworkers there December 20th after 4 years. I wanted to go to a highly rated family-run place and this establishment didn't disappoint. The burgers, meatloaf and pita wraps were excellent. The owner Vinnie greeted us and seated us, then came by to chat with us. The server was attentive and seemed to like her job. About a 15 - 20 minute walk from the Harrison PATH station. I will be making future visits there with old collegues.“

It’s not just a bar, there is a casual dining room, plenty of tables. The food is good, VERY GOOD!! I ordered shrimp and veg upon recommendation 👍👍. Others at my table had penne vodka with some great looking grilled chicken, and fish n chips. Bring your family or friends. A full meal thats more affordable than many places.“

“Great little bar near the PATH Station in Harrison. Located in the rear side of the Element Hotel on Somerset Street. Very nice atmosphere, friendly crowd and very friendly service. Reasonably priced drinks and if you like there is some seating outside the bar when the weather cooperates. I found it a nice place to stop and have a drink or two. I’d recommend stopping in when you’re in the area. A nice addition to the newly renovated, and ongoing, Harrison Station area.“

“Tankys is the spot! These people in the comments below complaining about it being unsafe just have nothing better to do. Other bars right down the block plays music just as loud and stays open just as late. Besides the one incident last year, there aren’t any brawls or fights that happen there. Most ppl that go there are regulars and know each other. “We held a special birthday party for my husband in their private upstairs room and could not have been happier. The whole experience from start to finish was terrific. We had a smaller event and it's a pretty big room, but it felt just right the way the tables were arranged. We got in early enough to set up and everyone from management to the bartender and servers were as nice and accommodating as could be. I cannot say enough good things. If you are looking for a space for an event, look no further!“

“Great food. Tiny place and if you go late on certain days you may not get a table. Staff is hit or miss. One day I witnessed three young girls working there standing behind the bar talking to each other and on their phones rather then tending to the customers. I do have to give support to the one young lady who eventually had to run the whole place herself till someone came to cover the bar. They should always have more than one person working the main dining area. If you want a good bar pie come here.“

“Decades ago, I ate at this location weekly when it was "Eddie's Long Bar". I visited Pour Abbey's a few times. The inside has been COMPLETELY changed for the better. The food is very good and the service excellent. I am not in the area often but will stop here when possible. Well Done!“

With that said, the crispy Brussels sprouts, OH-EM-GEE. Hear me out. They were the best thing I think I've eaten...in well, ever. It wasn't just the whole Brussels sprout itself, it was mostly the outer skins that was coated in seasonings, oil, and crispy. They were SO GOOD!

I definitely recommend the French Onion soup as well, we had that twice. 😋“

“I went to this place in a clutch. Wanted some food and a drink after a late show at NJPAC in Newark after midnight. It is bar food; jalapeño poppers, wings, burger, etc but very good. The bartender was courteous and despite it appeared most patrons were usuals, we were treated well being it was a first time for us there.“

“By far the best sporting date I took myself on thus far. A bit tight to eat when someone is next to you but A1 service. Everyone was very professional. The food prime rib was a bit cold but tasty while the mini donuts for dessert were excellent. I do not believe I will ever watch another hockey game from general seats while by myself again. The owners are passionate about their establishment and it comes through in aces with regards to their food, drink and service. It's always such a great mix of patrons from the local community and passing through travelers. Live music is a definite plus. We absolutely love El Patio and are glad to be repeat customers.“
