“This is my goto spot. The food is incredible. Top Tier Portuguese BBQ.
The PorterHouse Steak and Ribeyes are to die for. Their Chicken and Ribs are flavorful. The Short Ribs are tender and seasoned to perfection. Their Portuguese Fries(chips) and Portuguese Sausage are straight ?. Their Cod....WOW.....their salads, beef, grilled chicken and breaded fish, with thousand islands dressing is refreshingly good.....AND ALL THIS IS ALWAYS FRESH.
They staff is polite, friendly and professional. Give them a try and become addicted lol“

“The staff was wonderful but the brisket is incredible and tender. My hats off to the chef! Better than famous Dave’s brisket. They have these amazing Brussel sprouts that I could make a whole meal out of. I’ll be returning soon. FYI Everything is a la carte“

“Came for takeout. It had just opened and I got an order of the jollof rice and suya. The jollof was good but the suya was great! Plantains were fried to perfection. The staff was so kind.
Parking is tough but food is worth it!“

“I love Portuguese BBQ as my husband takes home from Linden near his work. I always say it would taste better if they grill Pork /chicken crisper/well done. We went to this new place on our way home to try. OH MY MY I FOUND WHAT I'M LOOKING FOR &FLAVOR!!!! DELLLLIIIICCCCIIOOUUUSSSSSS!!!!!“

“Not only did my girlfriend find this place on the way to Newark. It’s excellent for events at the Prudential center monster truck rally, especially I will left my wallet in this place and the staff Ryan especially was extremely helpful in making great food finding my wallet and mailing it to me. I live in the area, and they have always delivered on time, friendly, with great portions, and delicious. as an example, the cheese steak(with everything) is not like a philly cheese, but it is so damn good. “I’d been searching for a BBQ caterer in NJ for a birthday party and feel like I hit the jackpot with Jersey Joe’s. Cindy was helpful and very busy but I was able to place my order after a few days of going back and forth. Everyone at the party was floored by how good the food was! The Alabama chicken wings were delicious and had a nice kick. The brisket was incredibly tender and flavorful, grateful that they came without bbq sauce so that it could be added as desired. They also included extra sauces when requested which was great. The chopped chicken was tasty. The street corn blew everyone away, it was that good! The potato salad was solid and the cornbread was abundant. The mac and cheese was delish and we’re glad we added the breadcrumbs like the kid delivering the food suggested. Speaking of which, the delivery was the best I have ever experienced. He brought the food in, placed them in the warmers, filled them with water, and lit the sternos. He deserves a raise and promotion for his customer service, I only wish I remember his name. I highly recommend Jersey Joe’s and will be using them again in the future along with many of the guests at our party!“

A great option for family meals, when unable or unwilling to cook at home. 😁 Good sized portions. I had the Chicken in Garlic Sauce with rice and beans. My friend has the BBQ Ribs and Chicken with Rice, Cabbage and Boiled Potatoes. This spot has been added to my weekly meal rotation.“

“Pulaski BBQ has a small menu and cheap eats for Ironbound standards. The pork ribs with yellow rice & fries was delicious. The seasoning and charcoal taste was amazing, the fries were crispy, however the rice is pretty bland. My server was excellent and the prices are very reasonable. This is one of my favorite spots in Ironbound and I would recommend that you check It out.“
“We saw them pop up on uber I was excited I can't do much or get out there was t-bine special, rice and fries buy one get one. They called because part of our order they ran out of they were happy to accommodate even with the language barrier I don't speak Spanish. Cooked perfectly!!!! We like ours still mooing! But you can taste the wood coal not the processed charcoal and the portions are huge. And I completely forgot it was smack in the middle of the feast! I missed you guys alot!!!! “I find the space cute and the food very YUMMY😊. Personally I buy the Ddeok-Booki (I hope I spelled it right) with a Strawberry Lemonade & it’s worth the wait🙏🏽. My comfort food occasionally after work.
Vegetarian options: I’m TRYING to be vegetarian (commitment) however my family eats meat. If you don’t eat fish or chicken or meat overall half of the menu is meat however they have fries and rice and cheese sticks + more if you’re interested in supporting the business as a vegetarian.“

“Was here in on a mini vacation and was recommended to this place . As I woman that works in the food industry this pace was really good !!! They were busy but got our food out in a good quality time . Garlic shrimp was amazing !!! Dave the sauce for dipping your bread and even adding your rice for a nice twist !!! Will def come back ! Staff was friendly . And it’s a byob which makes it great as I’m on a budget with travel . Thank you guys !!!“
