“Came here after work for dinner and was not disappointed. Appetizers and sushi came out very quickly, I ended up getting both a hot appetizer as well as one from the sushi bar. Additionally each of the three rolls I ordered were well made, all fish tasted fresh. I would return to sample more of their special rolls.“

“We tried this place out after seeing it many times over the past couple of years. Since our other place has since closed not far off, we went here and we weren't really disappointed. The egg rolls, we were told are homemade, do seem homemade and are good. The Chinese menu is small but does cover some of the classics enough to find a dish you like. They focus on Sushi there, but not our interest. We've gone a few times now, it's no home run, but no strikes yet. Might be a good to try, if in the area and in an asian fare mood.“

“The food is top notch. From the soup to the sushi. Even the ice cream is delicious. What really bothers me though is the service. There is a 90 minute time limit which I get but when you are rushed to get out by an hour that’s not right. Also when you’re hounding tables waiting to literally take a plate because you have nothing else to do that’s a problem. Finally when you’re coming up to tables and asking them for platters back because you don’t have enough supposedly that’s not good either. Last night I was hounded constantly. Twice I had people tell me to move my sushi to my paper plate because they needed the platter. May I suggest buying more platters. Love the food and yes I know I’ll be back but the service was ridiculous in your face. Don’t come here for date night because they don’t leave you alone“

“This was my first time visiting Dozo Sushi and the hostess noticed my order and asked if I was vegetarian. After confirming I was, she let me know she would have the team replace my one roll as the sauce contained oysters. I didn't know about the sauce, and would have never known if she hadn't asked, so I was impressed about the extra level of care. They quickly remade my roll and had me out the door with my tasty, customized, rolls. Excellent customer service and food! Thank you.“

“Ordered for the first time since learning they moved & opened their doors in Morris Plains! They were our FAVORITE restaurant in Cedar Knolls! “I’ve been getting food from here for a couple years and EVERY dish I get from here is delicious. The Maplewood Roll is my favorite roll. The Togarashi Red Snapper is my favorite non-sushi dish. The vegetable tempura, gyoza, dumplings, shumai, Miso soup, Kani, just EVERYTHING IS AMAZING! Always fresh & perfect. I also like to get a ginger dressing (because DUH) and I also get a side of the fire sauce when I get the vegetable tempura. Highly recommend this place!“

“This is a brand new, recently opened restaurant and wow did they deliver for first impressions. Food was absolutely incredible. The sushi was fresh and made quickly. I had the volcano roll and the Naruto rainbow row, it was beautiful and delicious. Very good quality cuts and tasted fresh Really impressed by their milk tea as well. We got the original and Taro milk tea and it was fantastic. Staff was also very friendly and helpful in deciding what to order. Would definitely be coming back the next time I’m in town!“

“My fiancé and I play this alphabet game where we go A-Z and eat at a different restaurant beginning with each letter that we have never eaten at before. Needless to say, this was our “W.” We drove 45 minutes from North Brunswick and it was so worth it, we were truly satisfied. For appetizer we got; scallops butter yaki, chicken katsu, scallion pancakes, clear soup, miso soup, seaweed salad, and mango prawn salad. We ordered 4 specialty sushi rolls; blue crab fantastic, tropical, jersey, and rainbow dragon. For dessert we got bubble tea which was on the house 😊 we will definitely be back to eat here again! The only negative thing I have to say is that the place was very small inside and not many seats available for dine in as most of their business appears to be take out, but the food and service were so good that it cancels that out. Can’t wait to eat here again!“

We ordered the peppered tuna appetizer and I got the Mizu sushi roll and the aki roll. They were 10/10 and hit the spot. My new favorite sushi place! “Nothing beats enjoying the sushi at the restaurant but due to the covid pandemic and with an abundance of caution for safety the restaurant is takeout only. Regardless, Mr. Bin's is our "go-to" sushi place. We routinely travel from Union to Cranford because it's that good! The freshness is evident with every bite. The presentation of the sushi is perfect. I miss hanging with Mr. Bin at the restaurant and looking forward that once again. Especially his "special" selections that he surprises me with.“

“This is a great local sushi restaurant in Little Falls. The quality is excellent, very fresh, with nice presentation. Tropical Mango and Volcano are two of my favorites, along with the Yellowtail Jalapeno roll which is simple but very satisfying.

Staff is friendly and helpful, and the restaurant itself if very cute and cozy though I haven't had the privilege to dine in yet - but I am looking forward to that!“

“I've been coming here on-off for about 3 years, I think? It's a lovely, quiet place. I'm rarely in the mood for sushi but from my occasional hunt, the bulgogi roll lured me here. And the simple atmosphere & excellent service made me come back again, and again. Although I don't have many pictures of my dining or pickups from here, I highly recommend the bulgogi or pink salmon special (seared roll)

A master sushi chef straight from Tokyo, or Fukuoka, or Hokaido, sitting in Shoprite taking orders?They make good sushi when it's just made. The Godzilla roll was my go to but I tried the Valentine roll and it's excellent. So many choices but love my favorites. I highly recommend trying them if you haven't already.“
