“The food is top notch. From the soup to the sushi. Even the ice cream is delicious. What really bothers me though is the service. There is a 90 minute time limit which I get but when you are rushed to get out by an hour that’s not right. Also when you’re hounding tables waiting to literally take a plate because you have nothing else to do that’s a problem. Finally when you’re coming up to tables and asking them for platters back because you don’t have enough supposedly that’s not good either. Last night I was hounded constantly. Twice I had people tell me to move my sushi to my paper plate because they needed the platter. May I suggest buying more platters. Love the food and yes I know I’ll be back but the service was ridiculous in your face. Don’t come here for date night because they don’t leave you alone“

“This was my first time visiting Dozo Sushi and the hostess noticed my order and asked if I was vegetarian. After confirming I was, she let me know she would have the team replace my one roll as the sauce contained oysters. I didn't know about the sauce, and would have never known if she hadn't asked, so I was impressed about the extra level of care. They quickly remade my roll and had me out the door with my tasty, customized, rolls. Excellent customer service and food! Thank you.“

“My fiancé and I play this alphabet game where we go A-Z and eat at a different restaurant beginning with each letter that we have never eaten at before. Needless to say, this was our “W.” We drove 45 minutes from North Brunswick and it was so worth it, we were truly satisfied. For appetizer we got; scallops butter yaki, chicken katsu, scallion pancakes, clear soup, miso soup, seaweed salad, and mango prawn salad. We ordered 4 specialty sushi rolls; blue crab fantastic, tropical, jersey, and rainbow dragon. For dessert we got bubble tea which was on the house 😊 we will definitely be back to eat here again! The only negative thing I have to say is that the place was very small inside and not many seats available for dine in as most of their business appears to be take out, but the food and service were so good that it cancels that out. Can’t wait to eat here again!“

“Nothing beats enjoying the sushi at the restaurant but due to the covid pandemic and with an abundance of caution for safety the restaurant is takeout only. Regardless, Mr. Bin's is our "go-to" sushi place. We routinely travel from Union to Cranford because it's that good! The freshness is evident with every bite. The presentation of the sushi is perfect. I miss hanging with Mr. Bin at the restaurant and looking forward that once again. Especially his "special" selections that he surprises me with.“

“This is a brand new, recently opened restaurant and wow did they deliver for first impressions. Food was absolutely incredible. The sushi was fresh and made quickly. I had the volcano roll and the Naruto rainbow row, it was beautiful and delicious. Very good quality cuts and tasted fresh Really impressed by their milk tea as well. The best time to go is at around 3:00. The restaurant was virtually empty when we arrived and we were seated immediately.
As soon as we ordered our food, it was on our table within 7 minutes.
Our waiter was very kind!
I highly recommend the Rainbow roll and the Kinya Ramen bowl.
The serving sizes are large and more than enough for one person.
My boyfriend and I plan to return for the excellent food and upstanding service.

“Popped in for a late lunch on New Year's Day and was pleasantly surprised at the quality of food! Firstly, don't judge the size of the venue because the menu is seven pages!! So many choices!! I had the most tasty, smooth and crunchy, sushi pizza!! I paired it with a healthy seaweed salad. My hubby enjoyed a tasty Miso Soup and Alaska Roll while listening to Abba's greatest hits in the background! What a fun venue! Cindy, our server was so friendly! A must visit when in the area!! “I dined her the other night around 7 pm with a party of 7. Overall the food was excellent, service was acceptable, and the atmosphere felt comfortable. beautifully, with a rich sauce that elevated the dish to new heights. I opted for the salmon, which
sat atop a bed of fingerling potatoes and seasonal vegetables. The salmon was cooked to
perfection, flaky and flavorful, making every bite a delight. The cocktails were high quality, and I
want to try more on my next visit. The Boozy Bee was such a nice drink—refreshing and
perfectly balanced.
To round off our meal, we indulged in the desserts, which were nothing short of amazing. Each
dessert was beautifully crafted and offered a sweet ending to a perfect night.
As a special touch, Joshua Weissbard, the general manager, stopped by our table to check in
and presented us with a small keepsake to commemorate the evening. This thoughtful gesture
truly exemplified the outstanding service we received throughout our dining experience.

They have a pretty decent menu selection or hot and cold items of different rolls, sashimi, nigeri, etc. I thought the sushi rolls were ok but the rice should be a bit chewier. It was a bit too watery and soft for me. Really liked their fried items and the teriyaki fish they have.

Service was decent. The atmosphere was a bit too dark and stuffy for me. Would be nice to have some windows.

“So on the recommendation of a coworker I tried this place out since it was Friday sushi was a good choice for lunch. I ordered a spider roll (soft shell crab in tempura). For lunch seems like the one person handle it well but could of use more help getting orders. Place is nothing great to look at but was very clean. Now the food it was super fresh it was freshly fried that was still a little warm still when I ate it. Loved it was only 6 pieces if I knew it was small but good I would of ordered two rolls guess next time. Great susbi.“
