“Great local Irish bar. I was staying a week at a nearby hotel and this place had the exact Irish bar feel I needed. I instantly felt like a regular they were glad to see, coming and going. Proper for an Irish place. Good pours on the beers. I was here for the first 2016 Presidential Debates and there was a lot of opinions, but in true NYC style, nobody got bent, no matter how much of a (&%$g idiot the other person was.“

“Great place for a quick bite after climbing.
It's your usual bar food, quite big portions. Free popcorn, and sometimes sour gummy.
Had the chicken cutlet burger. Slightly overcooked but still juicy and delicious.
The bartender is super friendly and helpful.“
“I've always loved Dingbatz as a patron. My experiences there have always always been positive ones. The food (across the street at Dingos) is top notch and fairly priced and I've never had poor service at the bar. It ONLY loses one star because I have had many friends (and bands) who have Not had good experiences there, and sometimes that varies greatly depending on who is working the shift and what kind of mood they are in at the time. But I always try to encourage bands to play here - the stage is SMALL and there's no green room but unless you're a bunch of pretentious jerks, the staff WILL take care of you, and your fans will be grateful for the up close and more personal experience that you simply cannot get at big venues.“

Dog friendly bar need I say more? Yes. What is so important? The fact that no one said a word when Bailey joined me on cushioned bench in the primo booth. And we both appreciated the ample window picturing Amsterdam avenue business, like tv to her, she told me.
Bartender did his job cool and proper by leaving us alone to nurse my beer and our water. We will be back.“

“Absolutely the best place to go to Grab a drink after work , Have some Lunch, Watch the Game meet some amazing people, Phenomenal customer service and randomly go play some pinball in the back, while playing giant Connect four or Jenga. even eat or drink outside. great environment, my favorite go to bar and I live in The Bronx. “Service is super fast! Dana(i think) and a guy (didn't get his name ) were fast and friendly. Food is AMAZING get the fries they are so good. “I must say I don't write much reviews on bars and the such but this one here my goodness I just had to because of the exceptional service and good natured and hospitable nature of the Bartender there by the name of Brian. He made such an impression to his golden smile, his positive down-to-earth demeanor, his outstanding communication made you feel like he was not only your server/bartender but also your best friend, your therapist, and a loving Father/ and or brother relative however. Brian puts the cozy in the Cozy Tavern with his exceptional sevice and warm gentle personality that would make any atmosphere feel cozy and make anyone feel at home. All to cheers to Brian ?“

“I had to leave a review just because I’m so gagged people said they have bad service? Our bartender was so nice, the drinks are cheap, and it’s a cute little bar. It was definitely slower and barely anyone was here, but it’s also 9:30pm on a Monday.“
