I just want to say that this is a nice bar I don't mind the music, the drinks and bartenders., but can I just say that this place needs new bouncers. I went there Sunday and the bouncer was nasty to me and my 20+ guest. He was nasty and at one point I heard him say he wish everyone would just leave. It was rude and inappropriate.

This was a fun find for me and Jamie W. as we were looking to wet our whistles before a Broadway show. It's in the heart of Hell's Kitchen on the corner of 10th Avenue and 47th Street, so it was far enough away from the teeming masses at Times Square. We were reluctant to go to Dive Bar Lounge because of the poor reviews, but it was the only bar open close to where we were, so we popped in. Contrary to the other reviews, our service was quite good. The bartender, bouncer, etc. were all very friendly and helpful. There were very few people in the place and we opted for patio seating because of the beautiful night. Drinks were inexpensive and bar was no frills, hence the name. I would easily revisit when in the area.
