The venue boasts a large bar, a pool table, and plenty of TVs. Plus, there's a liquor store inside with tables where you can eat and relax. Highly recommend!“

“My husband recently hosted a bunch of old college buddies and their wives for our wedding! Since about 25 of them were visiting the Shore area for the first time, he wanted to make sure they experienced all the sights and sounds Monmouth County has to offer. Normally, finding something fun (and legal) for a large group of out-of-towners to do after midnight is a challenge—but not in Rumson! He took the whole crew to Murphy’s Tavern with the promise that they’d get a taste of a local legend: a good old-fashioned speakeasy tucked away in the basement of a house, right in the heart of a residential neighborhood. Needless to say, they had a blast! Whether you’re kicking off a weekend wedding celebration or just grabbing a late-night drink, we highly recommend popping into Murphy’s Tavern.“

“Had the most wonderful dinner there last night, sat at the back corner of the bar, Nd met the manager Dan. I had the tuna tartar and guac / chips. Really fantastic My friend had the burger, the food was great and everything was served perfectly with great bartenders etc What a fun place we will be back“

“We went to Brickhouse today and had Brooke as our waitress she was awesome! We had the chili nachos and pretzel for appetizers they were huge and really good! The beer is always ice cold and no matter what you order the food is always great especially the cheesesteak! Highly recommend brickhouse in Neptune Nj“

“We always go for the open mic there. It's a friendly receptive crowd but just remember as a performer, not everybody there is going to be watching or listening, especially toward the back. It is loud. Just the same it's a receptive audience and the food is good.“

“I'm giving you five stars because that's what you deserve and frankly what you've earned. The staff is great, Meg is great, Dylan is great and there is another bartender with an unusual name, I think starts with an I and I apologize...my memory is just shifty anymore, you told me your name at least twice already, and I'm sorry....she's great also. This place is an oasis if you're waiting for a bus.
I just have one problem. I'm not some dumb kid. I know how bars can be. But there were these drunk, aggresive Hispanic guys, screaming and howling and being rude and aggressive. Can't the bartender ask 'em to leave? People who can't control their behavior, especially when they drink, don't belong with people who just want to get lunch and relax before the bus comes.“

“highlyyy recommend! we had a little bit of everything and MY OH MY was the food beyond amazing! spicy tuna roll- so fresh! crab cake- great portion! ceasar salad to share- so fresh, crisp ! filet mignon- PERFECTLY cooked, PERFECTLY seasoned, (& I'm a steak snob🤣) cheesecake dessert- ok seriously with this?! beyond delicious omg! BEST FOR LAST- THE VIEW!! JESUS!!“
