The PIT West End is an excellent quality and value restaurant on the shore. The menu features big sandwiches of all claw and knuckle meat with no chewy tail. The lobster bisque is the best, exceptionally fresh. The clam chowder and CT rolls are delicious and reek of summertime. The Cali roll has bacon, which makes everything better, and the Connecticut roll is authentic and pure. The wedge salad is also delicious. The atmosphere is lively and upbeat with an outside eating area, bar, and live music. Service is friendly and quick. Beer and wine are available at roll checkout. The frozen margarita does not skimp on the alcohol. The lobster roll is generous, right up there with the best rolls at the Shore. The lobster bisque is delicious but could have had more lobster chunks. Overall a great choice, simply a favorite place to go.
