“Our first visit to Red Lantern Solaire North was a pleasant surprise. Though the branch is smaller, the service remained consistent and warm—just as we’ve always known it. The food was exceptional as ever, with the beef served in a box so tender it almost melted in the mouth. The hot prawn salad and mango roll were standouts, while the kataifi—a dessert that Red Lantern has uniquely served for nearly a decade—remains unmatched. It was a wonderful family meal, reaffirming why Red Lantern will always be our go-to place for celebrations and special moments. PS. They also have Chinese Tea presentation and the 1000 mask dance.”

“DD is my go to. The coffee and food is always above par. Prices? Well everything is pricey these days. The difference has to do with the staff, the upkeep of the place and the convenience. The parking was ok, lack of drive thru, facilities were up to snuff. The staff was lacking, not disrespectful nor helpful but just there.”

Our server, Anna took it all in stride. She was friendly and very efficient. Appreciated her cheerfulness and patience. Food was delicious and the cocktails, I’m told were refreshing. “One of the BEST DINER I have ever been to!! After searching all over NJ, I finally found a restaurant that serves CORN CAKES (aka Johnny Cakes). The food was amazing, the service was friendly & attentive, and I just loved the decor. Tons of old signs, antiques and unique Americana covering the walls & counter. Plenty of parking & seating. The prices are very fair here.

I ordered eggs & bacon with an order of corn cakes of course. The eggs were cooked just right and bacon crispy, perfectly portioned. The corn cakes were the absolute STAR of the meal. They were so fluffy and buttery that melts upon each bite.

My only complaint is that I don't live close enough!! I highly recommend the Mini Mac Diner. The owner was so kind and friendly, I hope they stay in business for as long as they want.”
