I even ordered another tonkotsu ramen to go (all the way to Florida) to bring back to my fiancé. They separated all of it, packaged it so it wouldn’t leak, and wrote directions on specific timing for heating up each item! Very impressive service. I’ll be back again!“

The vibe inside is a unique blend of club and restaurant, giving it a lively, energetic atmosphere. We started with a delicious consommé that set a good tone, and I appreciated the selection of ban chan-style appetizers. But of course, the real star is the fried chicken, which Coqodaq is known for. The gochujang wings were the standout for me, packed with flavor and the perfect kick of spice. The other flavors, though, didn’t leave as much of an impression. Overall, I’d say it was a good experience, but I’m not entirely convinced it’s worth the hassle of scoring a table. The food was solid, especially the gochujang wings, but with the effort it takes to get in, I’m not sure it’s something I’d go out of my way for again.“

I can’t have dairy and there no pizza slices in the window that were dairy-free or vegan, BUT, the person working there was nice enough to offer to make a square slice for me without cheese. I could have had any topping choice, but chose ham and pineapple because I wasn’t prepared for them to be so accommodating. The pizza was delicious, the crust was thin and crispy, and the sauce was slightly sweet (I don’t like tart super tomato-y sauce, so this was perfect), and they weren’t skimpy on the toppings either!
