“I make a point of visiting Funny Face bakery on every trip to New York, because they have the very best chocolate chip cookies in NYC or anywhere for that matter! Their gooey chocolate chip cookies are huge and packed full of chocolate—can’t be beat, especially warm out of the oven. Their decorated sugar cookies are so cool and clever and also make great gifts (along with a few gooey cookies of course). And it’s such a fun and friendly atmosphere—a must-visit when in NYC!“

The fact that Carrie was answering me while the business is close is a sign that she’s passionate and that she care about her client. “We love coming to Oceanos. We can count on them for the freshest specials. I love the special feeling when the waitstaff remember us and seat us at our favorite, regular table. The outside space is heated and beautifully designed. The only downside of Oceanos is that they don't have seasonal cocktails, it's always the same drinks which are delicious but sometimes you want a change.“

“This is a popular bakery store in Chinatown that has lots of bakery and confectionery items. They also sell few cooked dishes like steamed broccoli, pepper streak, chicken, tofu that are sold with white rice. They have bubble teas as well, but it’s powder based. We bought few of their bread items and egg tars.

The store looks pretty old. The menus are handwritten on paper, taped on the walls. There’s one table in the corner for guests to sit, but full of dirt. Despite the issues with the appearance, their food quality and taste keeps bringing lots of customers.“

We went with a chocolate sponge with strawberry jam filling and real buttercream chocolate icing. Because it was a Bluey themed party, the sprinkles were blue and orange and it also had blue and orange balloons on it. Cake was a smash hit! One of the best cakes I've ever tasted in my life! Steph did a fantastic job, the cake was delicious and we ordered cupcakes in another flavor to accompany the cake. I had sent her some ideas and photos and she went above and beyond. “Visit the bakery yesterday, and it was worth every dollar I spend. The Pecan cream ring tasted just how I remembered when I was a kid. I also bought one double chocolate cookie, which was amazing!! The man who was working the counter was quick to take care of our order and was friendly and attentive from start to finish. Very pleased with the experience and the ice cream itself.“

“We often stop by this Baked By Melissa store in GSP. It is a small counter of take out only store. They have online pickup options as well. Different kinds of cake packs and sizes are displayed in front of the counter. The store usually has good inventory and variety of packs.

In recent months, they introduced individual small cakes instead of whole packs. They have 6-8 flavors on display. My daughter usually pick 4-5 flavors a for 6 pack. We love the tiny cakes. They are always fluffy and delicious. They stay good in the fridge up to a week after opening a pack.

Staff are always friendly and courteous. They also have membership benefits that includes special offers, birthday perks and few more good benefits.“
