“I worked at J&M for years and this was the best nearby place for lunch when tips were good on a Saturday. I realized over the years that this is by far the best sloppy joe sandwich anywhere in north New Jersey. I now live in the greater Philadelphia area, and still bring a cooler with me when I travel to the Madison area to bring a few of these sandwiches back with me to enjoy. So happy to see they are still in business, glad that some good things never change!“

“Oh man… where to start. The service was phenomenal, great recommendations, great atmosphere, the owner, Ms. Dana greeted us with a smile, Nikki the manager was great to deal with. Now the food… I had the special, “The Gobbler” and it was unbelievably tasty. The crunch from the toasted bread, the flavors all together were a symphony on my taste palette. My gf got the “Toni Ann” and she couldn’t talk while we were eating together because she wouldn’t stop stuffing her face. After she said the chicken cutlet was cooked perfect, mozzarella was fresh, peppers were exquisite. Overall experience was just mind-blowing. I’d recommend Ferraro’s to any person, local or travelers, you NEED to stop and eat here.“

I was having a bad day until I came here and they made us feel so welcomed. “We stopped by for a quick bite a couple Saturdays ago. We were pleasantly surprised. The food was incredible. Indian food can be heavy but not this place. The owner and employee were so nice. Even though they were closing he let us sit and eat in the dining area. We had the garbanzo bean rice bowl, chicken tikka wrap and a breakfast sandwich. Highly recommend!!!“

“This place is great however what bagel shop is closed on Sunday’s or Christmas morning. Sunday’s are the biggest day for getting breakfast and bagels Ang they are closed somewhat frustrating to have to drive two towns over to get a bagel.“

“I can't give a full review because it was my 1st time visiting the establishment. I can give a review of what I ordered & of the person that served me. Everything looked & smelled good. The person who served me was kind & friendly. I had the picadillo with white rice, sweet plantains, a fried yuca fritter, & a side of beans. It all was very tasty, with the exception of the fritter. My only qualm was the pricing for what I ordered. It came to $29, including 2 bags of cheese doodles.Would I go back... Yes. Everything looked vibrant & fresh... I wanted to try EVERYTHING.“

They sell teas, marmalade, sausages, bacon, black and white pudding, Irish candies, also Brennan's bread.During the month of March they make and sell homemade Irish Soda Bread.As you make your way to the front counter you will meet owner Eddie, and Avril. They were both very friendly and told me about their business. Posted on the counter is their sandwich and salad menus.The Parsippany deli/Emerald gifts has been in business for 50 years, now I know why. Their prices are reasonable, and everything is homemade. They also do catering.They roast all their own meats like Roast Beef, Turkey Breast, and Baked Virginia Ham. I highly suggest getting a half of a sub. It’s as big as most whole subs.This place doesn’t skimp on their meats, just the opposite.When I got home and opened up my sub I was pleasantly surprised, and couldn’t believe how much meat was on it. It was probably one of the best Italian subs I’ve ever had and I’ve been all over for subs.I ordered their Italian Sub - Ham, Salami, Capocollo they call it Hot Ham, and Cheese. I got mine with lettuce, tomatoes, onions, mayo, oil and vinegar. It was really delicious. I wound up eating a half of a half and saved the rest for later.My bf ordered their Roast Beef n American Cheese Sub. The Roast Beef was cooked perfectly rare and piled on the sandwich with lettuce, tomato, oil and vinegar. He enjoyed it so much he ate the entire thing.I also ordered 2 of their homemade salads. Macaroni and Potato Salad. The macaroni was my favorite. It was rich and creamy.I highly recommend this place, you won’t be disappointed

“They have catered some of our company breakfasts. Everyone loves the food! In particular, the Mexican scrambled eggs (scrambled eggs with onions, peppers and ham), mushroom and cheese quesadillas, and tamales have been big hits. The food is really fresh and delicious. The service is excellent and the owner is so friendly. Generally, we are taking out or catering. The restaurant eating area is simple and fine for a quick work lunch. I highly recommend for breakfast and lunch and for catering.“
